$\ell$-distance-balanced graphs
Let $\ell$ denote a positive integer. A connected graph $\G$ of diameter at least $\ell$ is said to be $\ell${\it -distance-balanced} whenever for any pair of vertices $u,v$ of $\G$ such that $d(u,v)=\ell$, the number of vertices closer to $u$ than to $v$ is equal to the number of vertices closer to $v$ than to $u$. In this paper we present some basic properties of $\ell$-distance-balanced graphs and study in more detail $\ell$-distance-balanced graphs of diameter at most $3$. We also investigate the $\ell$-distance-balanced property of some well known families of graphs such as the generalized Petersen graphs.
On distance-regular Cayley graphs on abelian groups
Let $G$ denote a finite abelian group with identity 1 and let $S$ denote an inverse-closed subset of $G \setminus {1}$, which generates $G$ and for which there exists $s \in S$, such that $\la S \setminus \{s,s^{-1}\} \ra \ne G$. In this paper we obtain the complete classification of distance-regular Cayley graphs $\cay(G;S)$ for such pairs of $G$ and $S$.
On the Connectivity of Bipartite Distance-Balanced Graphs
A connected graph $\G$ is said to be {\it distance-balanced} whenever for any pair of adjacent vertices $u,v$ of $\G$ the number of vertices closer to $u$ than to $v$ is equal to the number of vertices closer to $v$ than to $u$. In [Bipartite graphs with balanced $(a,b)$-partitions, {\em Ars Combin.} {\bf 51} (1999), 113-119] Handa asked whether every bipartite distance-balanced graph, that is not a cycle, is 3-connected. In this paper the Handa question is answered in the negative. Moreover, we show that a minimal bipartite distance-balanced graph, that is not a cycle and is not 3-connected, has 18 vertices and is unique. In addition, we give a complete classification of non-3-connected bipartite distance-balanced graphs for which the minimal distance between two vertices in a 2-cut is three. All such graphs are regular and for each $k \geq 3$ there exists an infinite family of such graphs which are $k$-regular.
Furthermore, we determine a number of structural properties that a bipartite distance-balanced graph, which is not 3-connected, must have. As an application, we give a positive answer to the Handa question for the subfamily of bipartite strongly distance-balanced graphs.

It is shown that every connected vertex-transitive graph of order $6p$, where $p$ is a prime, contains a Hamilton path. Moreover, it is shown that, except for the truncation of the Petersen graph, every connected vertex-transitive graph of order $6p$ which is not genuinely imprimitive contains a Hamilton cycle.
On quartic half-arc-transitive metacirculants
Following Alspach and Parsons, a {\em metacirculant graph} is a graph admitting a transitive group generated by two automorphisms $ρ$ and $σ$, where $ρ$ is $(m,n)$-semiregular for some integers $m \geq 1$, $n \geq 2$, and where $σ$ normalizes $ρ$, cyclically permuting the orbits of $ρ$ in such a way that $σ^m$ has at least one fixed vertex. A {\em half-arc-transitive graph} is a vertex- and edge- but not arc-transitive graph. In this article quartic half-arc-transitive metacirculants are explored and their connection to the so called tightly attached quartic half-arc-transitive graphs is explored. It is shown that there are three essentially different possibilities for a quartic half-arc-transitive metacirculant which is not tightly attached to exist. These graphs are extensively studied and some infinite families of such graphs are constructed.
A Classification of Tightly Attached Half-Arc-Transitive Graphs of Valency 4
A graph is said to be {\em half-arc-transitive} if its automorphism group acts transitively on the set of its vertices and edges but not on the set of its arcs. With each half-arc-transitive graph of valency 4 a collection of the so called {\em alternating cycles} is associated, all of which have the same even length. Half of this length is called the {\em radius} of the graph in question. Moreover, any two adjacent alternating cycles have the same number of common vertices. If this number, the so called {\em attachment number}, coincides with the radius, we say that the graph is {\em tightly attached}. In {\em J. Combin. Theory Ser. B} {73} (1998) 41--76, Marušič gave a classification of tightly attached \hatr graphs of valency 4 with odd radius. In this paper the even radius tightly attached graphs of valency 4 are classified, thus completing the classification of all tightly attached half-arc-transitive graphs of valency 4.
