Spectral Radius Conditions for 3-Uniform Intersecting Families
Let $M_k$ denote a matching of size $k$. The classical Erdős matching conjecture asks for the maximum number of edges of an intersecting $r$-graph without $M_k$. The csae for $k=2$, which is known as intersecting $r$-graph, is established by Erdős, Ko and Rado. Hilton and Milner further determine the maximum number of edges of a non-trivial intersecting $r$-graph, where the intersecting $r$-graph $H$ is called non-trivial if $\cap_{e\in E(H)}e=\emptyset$. In this paper, we investigate the spectral analogues of the hpergraph matching problems and intersecting family problems. More precisely, for sufficiently large $n$, we determine respectively the maximum spectral radius of $M_{k+1}$-free and non-trivial intersecting $3$-graphs on $n$ vertices, and characterize the extremal hypergraphs.
The spectral radius of $1$-planar graphs without complete subgraphs
A 1-planar graph refers to a graph that can be drawn on the plane such that each edge has at most one crossing. In this paper, focusing on the spectral Turán-type problems of $1$-planar graphs, we determine completely the unique spectral extremal graph among all $K_3$-free or $K_4$-free $1$-planar graphs, and provide a characterization of the spectral extremal graphs for $K_5$-free $1$-planar graphs, confining the candidates to a specific, small family.
Almost regular subgraphs under spectral radius constrains
A graph is called $K$-almost regular if its maximum degree is at most $K$ times the minimum degree. Erdős and Simonovits showed that for a constant $0< \varepsilon< 1$ and a sufficiently large integer $n$, any $n$-vertex graph with more than $n^{1+\varepsilon}$ edges has a $K$-almost regular subgraph with $n'\geq n^{\varepsilon\frac{1-\varepsilon}{1+\varepsilon}}$ vertices and at least $\frac{2}{5}n'^{1+\varepsilon}$ edges. An interesting and natural problem is whether there exits the spectral counterpart to Erdős and Simonovits's result. In this paper, we will completely settle this issue. More precisely, we verify that for constants $\frac{1}{2}<\varepsilon\leq 1$ and $c>0$, if the spectral radius of an $n$-vertex graph $G$ is at least $cn^{\varepsilon}$, then $G$ has a $K$-almost regular subgraph of order $n'\geq n^{\frac{2\varepsilon^2-\varepsilon}{24}}$ with at least $ c'n'^{1+\varepsilon}$ edges, where $c'$ and $K$ are constants depending on $c$ and $\varepsilon$. Moreover, for $0<\varepsilon\leq\frac{1}{2}$, there exist $n$-vertex graphs with spectral radius at least $cn^{\varepsilon}$ that do not contain such an almost regular subgraph. Our result has a wide range of applications in spectral Turán-type problems. Specifically, let $ex(n,\mathcal{H})$ and $spex(n,\mathcal{H})$ denote, respectively, the maximum number of edges and the maximum spectral radius among all $n$-vertex $\mathcal{H}$-free graphs. We show that for $1\geqξ> \frac{1}{2}$, $ex(n,\mathcal{H}) = O(n^{1+ξ})$ if and only if $spex(n,\mathcal{H}) = O(n^ξ)$.
The maximum spectral radius of planner graphs without the joint of K2 and a linear forest
Given a graph $F$, let $SPEX_P(n,F)$ be the set of graphs with the maximum spectral radius among all $F$-free $n$-vertex planner graph. In 2017, Tait and Tobin proved that for sufficiently $n$, $K_2+P_{n-2}$ is the unique graph with the maximum spectral radius over all $n$-vertex planner graphs. In this paper, focusing on $SPEX_P(n,K_2+H)$ in which $H$ is a linear forest, we prove that $SPEX_P(n,K_2+H)=\{2K_1+C_{n-2}\}$ when $H\in \{pK_2,P_3,I_q\}$ $(p\geq1, q\geq 3)$, where $K_n$, $P_n$, $I_n$ are complete graph, path and empty graph of order $n$, respectively. When $H$ contains a $P_4$, we prove that $2K_1+C_{n-2}\notin SPEX_P(n,K_2+H)$ and also provide a structural characterization of graphs in $SPEX_P(n,K_2+H)$.

Let $F$ be a graph. A hypergraph is called Berge $F$ if it can be obtained by replacing each edge in $F$ by a hyperedge containing it. Given a family of graphs $\mathcal{F}$, we say that a hypergraph $H$ is Berge $\mathcal{F}$-free if for every $F \in \mathcal{F}$, the hypergraph $H$ does not contain a Berge $F$ as a subhypergraph. In this paper we investigate the connections between spectral radius of the adjacency tensor and structural properties of a linear hypergraph. In particular, we obtain a spectral version of Turán-type problems over linear $k$-uniform hypergraphs by using spectral methods, including a tight result on Berge $C_4$-free linear $3$-uniform hypergraphs.

In this paper, we define a homogeneous polynomial for a general hypergraph, and establish a remarkable connection between clique number and the homogeneous polynomial of a general hypergraph. For a general hypergraph, we explore some inequality relations among spectral radius, clique number and the homogeneous polynomial. We also give lower and upper bounds on the spectral radius in terms of the clique number.

Let $\mathcal{H}^{(r)}_n$ be the set of all connected $r$-graphs with given size $n$. In this paper, we investigate the effect on the spectral radius of $r$-uniform hypergraphs by grafting or contracting an edge and then give the ordering of the $r$-graphs with small spectral radius over $\mathcal{H}^{(r)}_n$, when $n\geq 20$.

Let $H=(V,E)$ be an $s$-uniform hypergraph of order $n$ and $k\geq 0$ be an integer. A $k$-independent set $S\subseteq H$ is a set of vertices such that the maximum degree in the hypergraph induced by $S$ is at most $k$. Denoted by $α_k(H)$ the maximum cardinality of the $k$-independent set of $H$. In this paper, we first give a lower bound of $α_k(H)$ by the maximum degree of $H$. Furthermore, we prove that $α_k(H)\geq \frac{s(k+1)n}{2d+s(k+1)}$ where $d$ is average degree of $H$, and $k\geq 0$ is an integer.

In this paper, we study the analytic connectivity of a $k$-uniform hypergraph $H$, denoted by $α(H)$. In addition to computing the analytic connectivity of a complete $k$-graph, we present several bounds on analytic connectivity that relate it with other graph invariants, such as degree, vertex connectivity, diameter, and isoperimetric number.
