Combinatorial constructions of Schubert subspace codes
We study Schubert subspace codes, which are constant-dimension subspace codes with prescribed intersection conditions with a fixed subspace. Our goal is to construct codes of maximum possible size in the extremal distance cases where a natural counting upper bound applies. We give two families of constructions. The first one uses a direct-sum decomposition of the ambient space, together with partial spreads and colorings of powers of $q$-Johnson graphs. For this construction, we also prove necessary conditions, which show how chromatic and clique obstructions arise. The second family is obtained by field reduction from evasive and scattered subspaces over extension fields. This gives codes whose size can be computed exactly in the scattered case and recovers the only previously known construction as a special case.
On Generalizations of Maiorana-McFarland and $\mathcal{PS}_{ap}$ Functions
We study generalizations of two classical primary constructions of Boolean bent functions, namely the Maiorana-McFarland ($MM$) class and the (Desarguesian) partial spread ($\mathcal{PS}_{ap}$) class. The construction of bent functions lying outside the completed $MM$ class has attracted considerable attention in recent years. In this direction, we construct families of generalized Maiorana--McFarland bent functions that are not equivalent to any function in the classical $MM$ or $\mathcal{PS}_{ap}$ classes, and hence lie outside their completed classes. As a second contribution, we investigate the decomposition of generalized $\mathcal{PS}_{ap}$ functions. We prove that when the degree is sufficiently small relative to the size of the underlying finite field, such functions do not, in general, admit a decomposition into bent or semibent functions. Consequently, they cannot be obtained from known secondary constructions based on concatenation. Finally, we present a secondary construction of Boolean bent functions arising from the concatenation of components of vectorial generalized $\mathcal{PS}_{ap}$ functions. Our constructions and proofs rely on classical results concerning second-order derivatives of bent functions and their duals. In addition, we employ methods from the theory of algebraic curves and their function fields.

A New Construction of Non-Binary Deletion Correcting Codes and their Decoding
Non-binary codes correcting multiple deletions have recently attracted a lot of attention. In this work, we focus on multiplicity-free codes, a family of non-binary codes where all symbols are distinct. Our main contribution is a new explicit construction of such codes, based on set and permutation codes. We show that our multiplicity-free codes can correct multiple deletions and provide a decoding algorithm. We also show that, for a certain regime of parameters, our constructed codes have size larger than all the previously known non-binary codes correcting multiple deletions.
Schubert Subspace Codes
In this paper, we initiate the study of constant dimension subspace codes restricted to Schubert varieties, which we call Schubert subspace codes. These codes have a very natural geometric description, as objects that we call intersecting sets with respect to a fixed subspace. We provide a geometric construction of maximum size constant dimension subspace codes in some Schubert varieties with the largest possible value for the minimum subspace distance. Finally, we generalize the problem to different values of the minimum distance.
