Association Scheme on Triples from the Unitary Group
An association scheme on triples (AST) is a three-dimensional analogue of a classical association scheme. Similar to how a transitive group action produces a Schurian classical association scheme, a two-transitive group action produces an AST. This paper describes the relations and intersection numbers of ASTs from the finite unitary groups acting on the respective isotropic lines.

Association schemes on triples from affine special semilinear groups
Association schemes on triples (ASTs) are 3-dimensional analogues of classical association schemes. If a group acts two-transitively on a set, the orbits of the action induced on the triple Cartesian product of that set yields an AST. By considering the actions of semidirect products of the affine special linear group ASL(k,n) with subgroups of the Galois group Gal(GF(n)), we obtain the sizes, third valencies, and intersection numbers of the ASTs obtained from subgroups of the affine special semilinear group.
A survey on association schemes on triples

Association schemes on triples (ASTs) are ternary analogues of classical association schemes, whose relations and adjacency algebras are ternary instead of binary. We provide a survey of the current progress in the study of ASTs, highlighting open questions, suggesting research directions, and producing some related results. We review properties of the ternary adjacency algebras of ASTs, ASTs whose relations are invariant under some group action, and ASTs obtained from 2-designs and two-graphs. We also provide a notion of fusion and fission ASTs, using the AST obtained from the affine special linear group $ASL(2,q)$ as an example.
Association schemes on triples over few vertices
In this paper, we obtain classification results for higher-dimensional analogues of classical association schemes called association schemes on triples (ASTs). We present an algorithm that enumerates all ASTs on a fixed number of vertices whose nontrivial relations are invariant under the action of some group. Applying this algorithm to three, four, and five vertices along with appropriate group actions yields the unique AST over three vertices, the unique symmetric ASTs over four or five vertices, the unique AST over four vertices with two nontrivial relations, and the unique nontrivial circulant AST over five vertices.
Multiple contractions of permutation arrays

Given a permutation $σ$ on $n$ symbols $\{0, 1, \ldots, n-1\}$ and an integer $1 \leq m \leq n-1$, the $m$th contraction of $σ$ is the permutation $σ^{{\sf CT}^m}$ on $n-m$ symbols obtained by deleting the symbols $n-1, n-2, \ldots, n-m$ from the cycle decomposition of $σ$. The Hamming distance ${\rm hd}(σ,τ)$ between two permutations $σ$ and $τ$ is the number of symbols $x$ such that $σ(x) \neq τ(x)$. In this paper we give a complete characterization of the effect of a single contraction on the Hamming distance between two permutations. This allows us to obtain sufficient conditions for ${\rm hd}(σ,τ)-{\rm hd}(σ^{{\sf CT}^m},τ^{{\sf CT}^m})\leq 2m$.

Families of Association Schemes on Triples from Two-Transitive Groups
Association schemes on triples (ASTs) are ternary analogues of classical association schemes. Analogous to Schurian association schemes, ASTs arise from the actions of two-transitive groups. In this paper, we obtain the sizes and third valencies of the ASTs obtained from the two-transitive permutation groups by determining the orbits of the groups' two-point stabilizers. Specifically, we obtain these parameters for the ASTs obtained from the actions of $S_n$ and $A_n$, $PGU(3,q)$, $PSU(3,q)$, and $Sp(2k,2)$, $Sz(2^{2k+1})$ and $Ree(3^{2k+1})$, some subgroups of $AΓL(k,n)$, some subgroups of $PΓL(k,n)$, and the sporadic two-transitive groups. Further, we obtain the intersection numbers for the ASTs obtained from these subgroups of $PΓL(k,n)$ and $A ΓL(k,n)$, and the sporadic two-transitive groups. In particular, the ASTs from these projective and sporadic groups are commutative.
