Vertex energy distributions in regular graph structures
The energy of a vertex $v_i$ in a graph $G$ is defined as $\mathcal{E}_G(v_i) = |A|_{ii}$, where $A$ is the adjacency matrix of $G$, $A^*$ denotes the conjugate transpose of $A$, and $|A| = (AA^*)^{1/2}$. The total energy of the graph, $\mathcal{E}(G)$, is then the sum of the energies of all vertices: $\mathcal{E}(G) = \mathcal{E}_G(v_1) + \mathcal{E}_G(v_2) + \dots + \mathcal{E}_G(v_n)$. In this paper, we compute the vertex energy for several well-known regular graphs, including the Frucht graph, Desargues graph, Tutte-Coxeter graph, Heawood graph, Shrikhande graph, and Petersen graph.

For a simple graph $G$, a vertex labeling $φ:V(G) \rightarrow \{1, 2,\ldots,k\}$ is called $k$-labeling. The weight of an edge $uv$ in $G$, written $w_φ(uv)$, is the sum of the labels of end vertices $u$ and $v$, i.e., $w_φ(uv)=φ(u)+φ(v)$. A vertex $k$-labeling is defined to be an edge irregular $k$-labeling of the graph $G$ if for every two distinct edges $u$ and $v$, $w_φ(u) \neq w_φ(v)$. The minimum $k$ for which the graph $G$ has an edge irregular $k$-labeling is called the edge irregularity strength of $G$, written $es(G)$. In this paper, we study the edge irregular $k$-labeling for cycle-star graph $CS_{k,n-k}$ and determine the exact value for cycle-star graph for $3 \leq k \leq 7$ and $n-k \geq 1$. Finally, we make a conjecture for the edge irregularity strength of $CS_{k,n-k}$ for $k \geq 8$ and $n-k \geq 1$.
A note on edge irregularity strength of Dandelion graph
For a simple graph $G$, a vertex labeling $φ:V(G) \rightarrow \{1, 2,\ldots,k\}$ is called $k$-labeling. The weight of an edge $xy$ in $G$, written $w_φ(xy)$, is the sum of the labels of end vertices $x$ and $y$, i.e., $w_φ(xy)=φ(x)+φ(y)$. A vertex $k$-labeling is defined to be an edge irregular $k$-labeling of the graph $G$ if for every two different edges $e$ and $f$, $w_φ(e) \neq w_φ(f)$. The minimum $k$ for which the graph $G$ has an edge irregular $k$-labeling is called the edge irregularity strength of $G$, written $es(G)$. In this note, we find the exact value of edge irregularity strength of Dandelion graph when $Δ(G) \geq \lceil \frac{|E(G)|+1}{2} \rceil$; and determine the bounds when $Δ(G) < \lceil \frac{|E(G)|+1}{2} \rceil $.
On the Zagreb indices of the line graph and line cut-vertex graph of subdivision of unicyclic graphs
The first Zagreb index $M_{1}(G)$ is equal to the sum of squares of the degrees of the vertices, and the second Zagreb index $M_{2}(G)$ is equal to the sum of the products of the degrees of pairs of adjacent vertices of the underlying molecular graph $G$. This paper aims to investigate the Zagreb indices and coindices of the line graph and line cut-vertex graph of a class of unicyclic graphs called cycle-star graph using the notion of subdivision.
Reverse Degree-Based Topological Indices and QSPR Analysis of Cancer Drugs
A topological index of a graph $G$ is a numerical quantity that describes its topology. Reverse degree-based topological indices play an important role in finding topological descriptors. Azacitidine, Decitabine, and Guadecitabine are hypomethylating agents which are used for the treatment of patients with higher-risk myelodysplastic syndromes, acute myeloid leukemia, and chronic myelomonocytic leukemia which are not suitable for in-depth treatments such as induction chemotherapy. In this article, some reverse degree-based topological indices of the three said drugs are computed. Furthermore, QSPR analysis of the said topological indices is discussed and it is shown that these topological indices are highly correlated with the physical properties of the three cancer drugs. These findings may help chemists and people working in the pharmaceutical industry to predict the properties of cancer drugs without experimenting.
