For each $λ\in \mathbb N^*$, we consider the integral equation: \[ \int_{λy} ^{λx} f(t)\, d t = f(x) - f(y) \mbox{ for every $(x,y)\in {\mathbb R}_+^2$,} \] where $f$ is the concatenation of two continuous functions $f_a,f_b:[0,λ] \rightarrow {\mathbb R}$ along a word $u= u_0u_1\cdots\in\{a,b\}^{\mathbb N}$ such that $u=σ(u)$, where $σ$ is a $λ$-uniform substitution satisfying some combinatorial conditions.
There exists some non-trivial solutions. We show in this work that the dimension of the set of solutions is at most two.

In this article we give the optimal lower bound for the complexity function of a planar translation which induces an ergodic rotation of the torus $\mathbb{R}^2 / \mathbb{Z}^2$. In addition, we give an explicit calculation of this complexity for the application $(x,y) \mapsto (x+1/φ^2,y+x-1/ (2φ^3))$, where $φ$ is the golden mean.

It is a classical fact that the exponential function is solution of the integral equation $ \int_0^X f(x)dx + f(0) =f(X)$. If we slightly modify this equation to $ \int_0^X f(x)dx+f(0)=f(αX)$ with $α\in ]0,1[$, it seems that no classical techniques apply to yields solutions. In this article, we consider the parameter $α=1/2$. We will show the existence of a solution wich takes the values of the Thue-Morse sequence on the odd integers.
