Numerical semigroups with monotone Apéry set and fixed multiplicity and ratio
Published in Bull. Braz. Math. Soc. (N.S.) 55(2) (2024), Article No. 13 • View PublicationBIB
We characterise the numerical semigroups with a monotone Apéry set (MANS-semigroups for abbreviate). Moreover, we describe the families of MANS-semigroups when we set the multiplicity and the ratio.
The extended Frobenius problem for Fibonacci sequences incremented by a Fibonacci number
Published in Mediterr. J. Math. 20 (2023), Article No. 222 • View PublicationBIB
We study the extended Frobenius problem for sequences of the form $\{f_a+f_n\}_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$, where $\{f_n\}_{n\in\mathbb{N}}$ is the Fibonacci sequence and $f_a$ is a Fibonacci number. As a consequence, we show that the family of numerical semigroups associated to these sequences satisfies the Wilf's conjecture.
On sets related to integer partitions with quasi-required elements and disallowed elements
Published in Aequationes Math. 98(2) (2024), 423-440 • View PublicationBIB
Given a set A of non-negative integers and a set B of positive integers,we are interested in computing all sets C (of positive integers) that are minimal in the family of sets K (of positive integers) such that (i) K contains no elements generated by non-negative integer linear combinations of elements in A and (ii) for any partition of an element in B there is at least one summand that belongs to K. To solve this question, we translate it into a numerical semigroups problem.
A Frobenius problem suggested by prime $k$-tuplets (extended version)
Published in Discrete Math. 346(7) (2023), Article No. 113394 • View PublicationBIB
We study the Frobenius problem for certain k-tuplets, which include prime k-tuplets, in particular prime triplets and prime quadruplets. Moreover, we analyze some properties of the numerical semigroups associated with these tuplets.
On the enumeration of the set of numerical semigroups with fixed Frobenius number and fixed number of second kind gaps
Published in Results Math. 77 (2022), Article No. 10 • View PublicationBIB
We study how certain invariants of numerical semigroups relate to the number of second kind gaps. Furthermore, given two fixed non-negative integers F and k, we provide an algorithm to compute all the numerical semigroups whose Frobenius number is F and which have exactly k second kind gaps.
A combinatorial problem and numerical semigroups

Let $a=(a_1,\ldots,a_n)$ and $b=(b_1,\ldots,b_n)$ be two $n$-tuples of positive integers, let $X$ be a set of positive integers, and let $g$ be a positive integer. In this work we show an algorithmic process in order to compute all the sets $C$ of positive integers that fulfill the following conditions: 1) the cardinality of $C$ is equal to $g$; 2) if $x,y\in \mathbb{N} \setminus \{0\}$ and $x+y\in C$, then $C \cap \{x,y\} \neq \emptyset$; 3) if $x \in C$ and $\frac{x-b_i}{a_i} \in \mathbb{N} \setminus \{0\}$ for some $i\in \{1,\ldots,n\}$, then $\frac{x-b_i}{a_i} \in C$; 4) $X \cap C = \emptyset$.
