In this paper, we propose a generalized opinion dynamics model (GODM), which can dynamically compute each person's expressed opinion, to solve the internal opinion maximization problem for social trust networks. In the model, we propose a new, reasonable and interpretable confidence index, which is determined by both person's social status and the evaluation around him. By using the theory of diagonally dominant, we obtain the optimal analytic solution of the Nash equilibrium with maximum overall opinion. We design a novel algorithm to maximize the overall with given budget by modifying the internal opinions of people in the social trust network, and prove its optimality both from the algorithm itself and the traditional optimization algorithm-ADMM algorithms with $l_1$-regulations. A series of experiments are conducted, and the experimental results show that our method is superior to the state-of-the-art in four datasets. The average benefit has promoted $67.5\%$, $83.2\%$, $31.5\%$, and $33.7\%$ on four datasets, respectively.

Let $G$ be a simple connected graph, and $D(G)$ be the distance matrix of $G$. Suppose that $D_{\max}(G)$ and $λ_1(G)$ are the maximum row sum and the spectral radius of $D(G)$, respectively. In this paper, we give a lower bound for $D_{\max}(G)-λ_1(G)$, and characterize the extremal graphs attaining the bound. As a corollary, we solve a conjecture posed by Liu, Shu and Xue.
The extremal $p$-spectral radius of Berge-hypergraphs
Let $G$ be a graph. We say that a hypergraph $H$ is a Berge-$G$ if there is a bijection $φ: E(G)\to E(H)$ such that $e\subseteq φ(e)$ for all $e\in E(G)$. For any $r$-uniform hypergraph $H$ and a real number $p\geq 1$, the $p$-spectral radius $λ^{(p)}(H)$ of $H$ is defined as \[ λ^{(p)}(H):=\max_{{\bf x}\in\mathbb{R}^n,\,\|{\bf x}\|_p=1} r\sum_{\{i_1,i_2,\ldots,i_r\}\in E(H)} x_{i_1}x_{i_2}\cdots x_{i_r}. \] In this paper, we study the $p$-spectral radius of Berge-$G$ hypergraphs. We determine the $3$-uniform hypergraphs with maximum $p$-spectral radius for $p\geq 1$ among Berge-$G$ hypergraphs when $G$ is a path, a cycle or a star.
The $(p,q)$-spectral radii of $(r,s)$-directed hypergraphs
An $(r,s)$-directed hypergraph is a directed hypergraph with $r$ vertices in tail and $s$ vertices in head of each arc. Let $G$ be an $(r,s)$-directed hypergraph. For any real numbers $p$, $q\geq 1$, we define the $(p,q)$-spectral radius $λ_{p,q}(G)$ as \[ λ_{p,q}(G):=\max_{||{\bf x}||_p=||{\bf y}||_q=1} \sum_{e\in E(G)}\Bigg(\prod_{u\in T(e)}x_u\Bigg)\Bigg(\prod_{v\in H(e)}y_v\Bigg), \] where ${\bf x}=(x_1, \ldots, x_m)^{\rm T}$, ${\bf y}=(y_1,\ldots, y_n)^{\rm T}$ are real vectors; and $T(e)$, $H(e)$ are the tail and head of arc $e$, respectively. We study some properties about $λ_{p,q}(G)$ including the bounds and the spectral relation between $G$ and its components.
The $α$-normal labeling method for uniform hypergraphs was introduced by Lu and Man in 2014. It is an effective method in studying the spectral radii of uniform hypergraphs. In this paper, we develop the $α$-normal labeling method for calculating the $(p,q)$-spectral radii of $(r,s)$-directed hypergraphs. Finally, some applications of $α$-normal labeling method are given.

Let $G$ be an $r$-uniform hypergraph of order $n$. For each $p\geq 1$, the $p$-spectral radius $λ^{(p)}(G)$ is defined as \[ λ^{(p)}(G):=\max_{|x_1|^p+\cdots+|x_n|^p=1} r\sum_{\{i_1,\ldots,i_r\}\in E(G)}x_{i_1}\cdots x_{i_r}. \] The $p$-spectral radius was introduced by Keevash-Lenz-Mubayi, and subsequently studied by Nikiforov in 2014. The most extensively studied case is when $p=r$, and $λ^{(r)}(G)$ is called the spectral radius of $G$. The $α$-normal labeling method, which was introduced by Lu and Man in 2014, is effective method for computing the spectral radii of uniform hypergraphs. It labels each corner of an edge by a positive number so that the sum of the corner labels at any vertex is $1$ while the product of all corner labels at any edge is $α$. Since then, this method has been used by many researchers in studying $λ^{(r)}(G)$. In this paper, we extend Lu and Man's $α$-normal labeling method to the $p$-spectral radii of uniform hypergraphs for $p\ne r$; and find some applications.

Let $H$ be an $r$-uniform hypergraph on $n$ vertices and $m$ edges, and let $d_i$ be the degree of $i\in V(H)$. Denote by $\varepsilon(H)$ the difference of the spectral radius of $H$ and the average degree of $H$. Also, denote \[ s(H)=\sum_{i\in V(H)}\left|d_i-\frac{rm}{n}\right|,~ v(H)=\frac{1}{n}\sum_{i\in V(H)}d_i^{\frac{r}{r-1}}-\left(\frac{rm}{n}\right)^{\frac{r}{r-1}}. \] In this paper, we investigate the irregularity of $r$-uniform hypergraph $H$ with respect to $\varepsilon(H)$, $s(H)$ and $v(H)$, which extend relevant results to uniform hypergraphs.

Let $\mathcal{A}(H)$ be the adjacency tensor of $r$-uniform hypergraph $H$. If $H$ is connected, the unique positive eigenvector $x=(x_1,x_2,\ldots,x_n)^{\mathrm{T}}$ with $||x||_r=1$ corresponding to spectral radius $ρ(H)$ is called the principal eigenvector of $H$. The maximum and minimum entries of $x$ are denoted by $x_{\max}$ and $x_{\min}$, respectively. In this paper, we investigate the bounds of $x_{\max}$ and $x_{\min}$ in the principal eigenvector of $H$. Meanwhile, we also obtain some bounds of the ratio $x_i/x_j$ for $i$, $j\in [n]$ as well as the principal ratio $γ(H)=x_{\max}/x_{\min}$ of $H$. As an application of these results we finally give an estimate of the gap of spectral radii between $H$ and its proper sub-hypergraph $H'$.

Let A(G) be the adjacency tensor (hypermatrix) of uniform hypergraph G. The maximum modulus of the eigenvalues of A(G) is called the spectral radius of G. In this paper, the conjecture of Fan et al. in [5] related to compare the spectral radii of some three uniform hypergraphs is solved. Moreover, some eigenvalues properties of a kind of uniform hypergraphs are obtained.
