An Ore-type Alon-Yuster Theorem
A graph $G$ admits an $H$-tiling if it contains a collection of vertex-disjoint copies of $H$. In this paper, we confirm a conjecture proposed by Kühn, Osthus, and Treglown by showing that for any given graph $H$, there exists a constant $C(H)$ such that the following holds. If $G$ is a sufficiently large $n$-vertex graph satisfying $d(x) + d(y) \geq 2\left(1 - 1/χ_{\text{cr}}(H)\right)n$ for all nonadjacent vertices $x, y \in V(G)$, then $G$ contains an $H$-tiling covering all but at most $C(H)$ vertices. Here $χ_{\text{cr}}(H)$ denotes the critical chromatic number of $H$.
Extremal Laplacian energy of $\overrightarrow{C_{k+1}}$-free digraphs
The Laplacian energy of a digraph $G$ is defined as $\sum_{i=1}^n λ_i^2$, where $λ_i$ are the eigenvalues of the Laplacian matrix of $G$. A (di)graph $G$ is said to be $H$-free if it does not contain a copy of the fixed (di)graph $H$ as a sub(di)graph. In this paper, we extend the Turán problems to spectral Turán problems in digraphs: what is the maximal Laplacian energy of an $H$-free digraph of given order? In particular, we determine the maximum Laplacian energy and characterize the extremal digraphs of $\overrightarrow{C_{k+1}}$-free digraphs.
Perfect tilings with the generalised triangle in $k$-graphs
Denote by $T_k$ the generalised triangle, a $k$-uniform hypergraph on vertex set $\{1,2,\dots,2k-1\}$ with three edges $\{1,\dots,k-1,k\}$,$\{1,\dots,k-1,k+1\}$ and $\{k,k+1,\dots,2k-1\}$. Recently, Bowtell, Kathapurkar, Morrison and Mycroft [arXiv: 2505.05606] established the exact minimum codegree threshold for perfect $T_3$-tilings in $3$-graphs. In this paper, we extend their result to all $k \geq 3$, determining the optimal minimum codegree threshold for perfect $T_k$-tilings in $k$-graphs. Our proof uses the lattice-based absorption method, as is usual, but develops a unified and effective approach to build transferrals for all uniformities, which is of independent interest. Additionally, we establish an asymptotically tight minimum codegree threshold for a rainbow variant of the problem.
Connected Turán numbers for Berge paths in hypergraphs
Let $\mathcal{F}$ be a family of $r$-uniform hypergraphs. Denote by $\ex^{\mathrm{conn}}_r(n,\mathcal{F})$ the maximum number of hyperedges in an $n$-vertex connected $r$-uniform hypergraph which contains no member of $\mathcal{F}$ as a subhypergraph. Denote by $\mathcal{B}C_k$ the Berge cycle of length $k$, and by $\mathcal{B}P_k$ the Berge path of length $k$. Füredi, Kostochka and Luo, and independently Győri, Salia and Zamora determined $\ex^{\mathrm{conn}}_r(n,\mathcal{B}P_k)$ provided $k$ is large enough compared to $r$ and $n$ is sufficiently large. For the case $k\le r$, Kostochka and Luo obtained an upper bound for $\ex^{\mathrm{conn}}_r(n,\mathcal{B}P_k)$. In this paper, we continue investigating the case $k\le r$. We precisely determine $\ex^{\mathrm{conn}}_r(n,\mathcal{B}P_k)$ when $n$ is sufficiently large and $n$ is not a multiple of~$r$. For the case $k=r+1$, we determine $\ex^{\mathrm{conn}}_r(n,\mathcal{B}P_k)$ asymptotically.
A note on generalized crowns in linear r-graphs
An $r$-graph $H$ is a hypergraph consisting of a nonempty set of vertices $V$ and a collection of $r$-element subsets of $V$ we refer to as the edges of $H$. An $r$-graph $H$ is called linear if any two edges of $H$ intersect in at most one vertex. Let $F$ and $H$ be two linear $r$-graphs. If $H$ contains no copy of $F$, then $H$ is called $F$-free. The linear Turán number of $F$, denoted by $ex_r^{lin}(n,F)$, is the maximum number of edges in any $F$-free $n$-vertex linear $r$-graph. The crown $C_{13}$ (or $E_4$) is a linear 3-graph which is obtained from three pairwise disjoint edges by adding one edge that intersects all three of them in one vertex. In 2022, Gyárfás, Ruszinkó and Sárközy initiated the study of $ex_3^{lin}(n,F)$ for different choices of an acyclic 3-graph $F$. They determined the linear Turán numbers for all linear 3-graphs with at most 4 edges, except the crown. They established lower and upper bounds for $ex_3^{lin}(n,C_{13})$. In fact, their lower bound on $ex_3^{lin}(n,C_{13})$ is essentially tight, as was shown in a recent paper by Tang, Wu, Zhang and Zheng. In this paper, we generalize the notion of a crown to linear $r$-graphs for $r\ge 3$, and also generalize the above results to linear $r$-graphs.
Turán numbers of general hypergraph star forests
Let $\mathcal{F}$ be a family of $r$-uniform hypergraphs, and let $H$ be an $r$-uniform hypergraph. Then $H$ is called $\mathcal{F}$-free if it does not contain any member of $\mathcal{F}$ as a subhypergraph. The Turán number of $\mathcal{F}$, denoted by $ex_r(n,\mathcal{F})$, is the maximum number of hyperedges in an $\mathcal{F}$-free $n$-vertex $r$-uniform hypergraph. Our current results are motivated by earlier results on Turán numbers of star forests and hypergraph star forests. In particular, Lidický, Liu and Palmer [Electron. J. Combin. 20 (2013)] determined the Turán number $ex(n,F)$ of a star forest $F$ for sufficiently large $n$. Recently, Khormali and Palmer [European. J. Combin. 102 (2022) 103506] generalized the above result to three different well-studied hypergraph settings, but restricted to the case that all stars in the hypergraph star forests are identical. We further generalize these results to general hypergraph star forests.

A linear $r$-uniform hypergraph is called acycilc if it can be constructed starting from one single edge then at each step adding a new edge that intersect the union of the vertices of the previous edges in at most one vertex. Recently, Gyárfás, Ruszinkó and Sárk\''{o}zy initiated the study of the linear Turán numbers of acyclic linear triple systems. In this paper, we extend their results to linear quadruple systems. Here, we concentrate on small trees, paths and matchings. For the case of small trees, we find that for a linear tree $T$, $ex^{lin}_{4}(n,T)$ relates to difficult problems on Steiner system $S(2,4,n)$ For example, we show that $ex^{lin}_{4}(n, P_4)\le \frac{5n}{4}$ with equality holds if and only if the linear quadruple system is the disjoint union of $S(2,4,16)$. Denote by $E^{+}_{4}$ the linear tree consisting of three pairwise disjoint quadruples and a fourth one intersecting all of them. We prove that $12\lfloor\frac{n-4}{9}\rfloor\le ex^{lin}_{4}(n, E^{+}_4)\le \frac{14(n-s)}{9}$, where $s$ is the number of vertices in $G$ with degree at least 8. Denote by $M_k$ and $P_k$ the set of $k$ pairwise disjoint quadruples and the linear path with $k$ quadruples, respectively. For the case of paths, we show that $ex^{lin}_{4}(n, P_k)\le 2.5kn$. For the case of matchings, we prove that for fixed $k$ and sufficiently large $n$, $ex^{lin}_{4}(n, M_k)=g(n,k)$ where $g(n,k$) denotes the maximum number of quadruples that can intersect $k-1$ vertices in a linear quadruple system on $n$ vertices.

Let $\mathcal{F}$ be a family of graphs. A graph $G$ is called \textit{$\mathcal{F}$-free} if for any $F\in \mathcal{F}$, there is no subgraph of $G$ isomorphic to $F$. Given a graph $T$ and a family of graphs $\mathcal{F}$, the generalized Turán number of $\mathcal{F}$ is the maximum number of copies of $T$ in an $\mathcal{F}$-free graph on $n$ vertices, denoted by $ex(n,T,\mathcal{F})$. A linear forest is a graph whose connected components are all paths or isolated vertices. Let $\mathcal{L}_{n,k}$ be the family of all linear forests of order $n$ with $k$ edges and $K^*_{s,t}$ a graph obtained from $K_{s,t}$ by substituting the part of size $s$ with a clique of the same size. In this paper, we determine the exact values of $ex(n,K_s,\mathcal{L}_{n,k})$ and $ex(n,K^*_{s,t},\mathcal{L}_{n,k})$. Also, we study the case of this problem when the \textit{"host graph"} is bipartite. Denote by $ex_{bip}(n,T,\mathcal{F})$ the maximum possible number of copies of $T$ in an $\mathcal{F}$-free bipartite graph with each part of size $n$. We determine the exact value of $ex_{bip}(n,K_{s,t},\mathcal{L}_{n,k})$. Our proof is mainly based on the shifting method.
