Further generalization of central sets theorem for partial semigroups and vip systems
The Central Sets Theorem, a fundamental result in Ramsey theory, is a joint extension of both Hindman's theorem and van der Waerden's theorem. It was originally introduced by H. Furstenberg using methods from topological dynamics. Later, using the algebraic structure of the Stone-$Č$ech compactification $β$ S of a semigroup S, N. Hindman and V. Bergelson extended the theorem in 1990. H. Shi and H. Yang established a topological dynamical characterization of central sets in an arbitrary semigroup (S,+), and showed it to be equivalent to the usual algebraic characterization. D. De, N. Hindman, and D. Strauss later proved a stronger version of the Central Sets Theorem for semigroups in 2008. D. Phulara further genaralized the result for commutative semigroups in 2015. Recently in his work, Zhang generalized it further and proved the central sets theorem for uncountably many central sets. We extend the theorem to arbitrary adequate partial semigroups and VIP systems.
Multidimensional central sets theorem near zero
In [B] Beiglböck gave a Multidimension Central sets theorem. Recently, [GP] extended this result for polynomials. They proved the Multidimensional Polynomial Central sets theorem. Earlier, Hindman and Leader introduced the near zero concept and proved the Central sets theorem near 0 in [HL]. In this article, we generalize the Multidimensional Central sets theorem for near 0.
Generalized central sets theorem for partial semigroups and vip systems
The Central sets theorem was first introduced by H. Furstenberg
[F] in terms of Dynamical systems. Later Hindman and Bergelson extended
the theorem using Stone-$Č$ech compactification $β$$\mathbb{N}$ of $\mathbb{N}$. In [SY] algebraic
characterization of Central sets was done for semigroup and equivalence of
Dynamical and Algebraic characterizations were shown. D. De, N. Hindman,
and D. Strauss proved a stronger version of the Central sets theorem for semigroup. D. Phulara generalized that theorem for commutative semigroup taking
a sequence of Central sets. Recently J. Podder and S. Pal established the
Phulara type generalization of Central sets theorem near zero [PP]. We did
this for arbitrary adequate partial semigroup and VIP systems.
