Critical 3-hypergraphs (detailed version)
Given a 3-hypergraph $H$, a subset $M$ of $V(H)$ is a module of $H$ if for each $e\in E(H)$ such that $e\cap M\neq\emptyset$ and $e\setminus M\neq\emptyset$, there exists $m\in M$ such that $e\cap M=\{m\}$ and for every $n\in M$, we have $(e\setminus\{m\})\cup\{n\}\in E(H)$. For example, $\emptyset$, $V(H)$ and $\{v\}$, where $v\in V(H)$, are modules of $H$, called trivial. A 3-hypergraph is prime if all its modules are trivial. Furthermore, a prime 3-hypergraph is critical if all its induced subhypergraphs, obtained by removing one vertex, are not prime. We characterize the critical 3-hypergraphs.
Matricial characterization of tournaments with maximum number of diamonds

A diamond is a $4$-tournament which consists of a vertex dominating or dominated by a $3$-cycle. Assuming the existence of skew-conference matrices, we give a complete characterization of $n$-tournaments with the maximum number of diamonds when $n\equiv0\pmod{4}$ and $n\equiv3\pmod{4}$. For $n\equiv2\pmod{4}$, we obtain an upper bound on the number of diamonds in an $n$-tournament and we give a matricial characterization of tournaments achieving this bound.

Let $H$ be a 3-uniform hypergraph. A tournament $T$ defined on $V(T)=V(H)$ is a realization of $H$ if the edges of $H$ are exactly the 3-element subsets of $V(T)$ that induce 3-cycles. We characterize the 3-uniform hypergraphs that admit realizations by using a suitable modular decomposition.

An arc-weighted digraph is a pair $(D,ω)$ where $D$ is a digraph and $ω$ is an \emph{arc-weight function} that assigns\ to each arc $uv$ of $D$ a nonzero real number $ω(uv)$. Given an arc-weighted digraph $(D,ω)$ with vertices $v_{1},\ldots,v_{n}$, the weighted adjacency matrix of $(D,ω)$ is defined as the matrix $A(D,ω)=[a_{ij}]$ where $a_{ij}=ω(v_{i}v_{j})$, if $v_{i}v_{j}\ $an arc of $D$ and $0$ otherwise. Let $(D,ω)$ be a positive arc-weighted digraphs and assume that $D$ is loopless and symmetric. A skew-signing of $(D,ω)$ is an arc-weight function $ω^{\prime}$ such that $ω^{\prime}(uv)=\pm ω(uv)$ and $ω^{\prime}(uv)ω^{\prime}(vu)<0$ for every arc $uv$ of $D$. In this paper, we give necessary and sufficient conditions under which the characteristic polynomial of $A(D,ω^{\prime})$ is the same for every skew-signing $ω^{\prime}$ of $(D,ω)$. Our Main Theorem generalizes a result of Cavers et al (2012) about skew-adjacency matrices of graphs.
About the spectra of a real nonnegative matrix and its signings

For a real matrix $M$, we denote by $sp(M)$ the spectrum of $M$ and by $\left \vert M\right \vert $ its absolute value, that is the matrix obtained from $M$ by replacing each entry of $M$ by its absolute value. Let $A$ be a nonnegative real matrix, we call a \emph{signing} of $A$ every real matrix $B$ such that $\left \vert B\right \vert =A$. In this paper, we study the set of all signings of $A$ such that $sp(B)=αsp(A)$ where $α$ is a complex unit number. Our work generalizes some results obtained in [1, 5, 8].
