On the spectra of k-uniform threshold hypergraphs
In this article we introduce a definition of k-uniform thresholds hypergraphs through a binary sequence, a natural extension of the classical definition for thresholds graphs. We characterize some of its eigenvalues and multiplicities by means of combinatorial numbers, derived from edge counts. An important problem addressed in Spectral Graph Theory is to find graphs with few distinct eigenvalues. Our characterization allows us to construct k-uniform threshold hypergraphs having an arbitrary number of vertices with few distinct eigenvalues.
Structured eigenbases and pair state transfer on threshold graphs
Recently, Macharete, Del-Vecchio, Teixeira and de Lima showed that a star and any threshold graph on the same number of vertices share the same eigenbasis relative to the Laplacian matrix. We use this fact to establish two main results in this paper. The first one is a characterization of threshold graphs that are \textit{simply structured}, i.e., their associated Laplacian matrices have eigenbases consisting of vectors with entries from the set $\{-1,0,1\}$. Then, we provide sufficient conditions such that a simply structured threshold graph is weakly Hadamard diagonalizable (WHD). This allows us to list all connected simply structured threshold graphs on at most 20 vertices, and identify those that are WHD. Second, we characterize Laplacian pair state transfer on threshold graphs. In particular, we show that the existence of Laplacian vertex state transfer and Laplacian pair state transfer on a threshold graph are equivalent if and only if it is not a join of a complete graph and an empty graph of certain sizes.
Adjacency Energy of Hypergraphs

In this paper, we define and obtain several properties of the (adjacency) energy of a hypergraph. In particular, bounds for this energy are obtained as functions of structural and spectral parameters, such as Zagreb index and spectral radius. We also study how the energy of a hypergraph varies when a vertex/edge is removed or when an edge is divied. In addition, we solved the extremal problem energy for the class of hyperstars, and show that the energy of a hypergraph is never an odd number.

New bounds for the b-chromatic number of vertex deleted graphs
A b-coloring of a graph is a proper coloring of its vertices such that each color class contains a vertex adjacent to at least one vertex of every other color class. The b-chromatic number of a graph is the largest integer k such that the graph has a b-coloring with k colors. In this work we present lower bounds for the b-chromatic number of a vertex-deleted subgraph of a graph, particularly regarding two important classes, quasi-line and chordal graphs. We also get bounds for the b-chromatic number of G -{x}, when G is a graph with large girth.

Laplacian integrality in P4-sparse and P4-extendible graphs
Published • View PublicationBIB
Let G be a simple graph and L = L(G) the Laplacian matrix of G. G is called L-integral if all its Laplacian eigenvalues are integer numbers. It is known that every cograph, a graph free of P4, is L-integral. The class of P4-sparse graphs and the class of P4-extendible graphs contain the cographs. It seems natural to investigate if the graphs in these classes are still L-integral. In this paper we characterized the L-integral graphs for both cases, P4-sparse graphs and P4-extendible graphs.
