Cyclic Subgroup Lattices as Universal Sources of Power-Type Graphs
Power-type graphs, such as the power graph, the directed power graph, the enhanced power graph and the difference graph, encode significant information about the internal structure of a finite group. Despite substantial investigation in recent years, the precise relationship between these graphs and the subgroup lattice of the underlying group has remained only partially understood. In this paper we establish a complete, explicit, and purely combinatorial correspondence between the enhanced power graph and the lattice of cyclic subgroups $\mathcal{L}_c(G)$ of a finite group $G$. We prove that these two objects determine each other uniquely: an unlabeled enhanced power graph suffices to reconstruct $\mathcal{L}_c(G)$, and conversely, the labeled enhanced power graph can be reconstructed directly from $\mathcal{L}_c(G)$. Exploiting this duality, we demonstrate that the reconstruction principle applies equally to the power graph, the directed power graph, and the difference graph, which may all be derived solely from the cyclic subgroup lattice, independent of the group operation. This bidirectional correspondence yields a combinatorial equivalence between power-type graphs and the cyclic subgroup lattice, providing a new framework for analyzing finite groups through graph-theoretic and lattice-theoretic data, free from algebraic complexity.

On the eccentric graph of trees
Published • View PublicationBIB
We consider the eccentric graph of a graph $G$, denoted by $ecc(G)$, which has the same vertex set as $G$, and two vertices in the eccentric graph are adjacent iff their distance in $G$ is equal to the eccentricity of one of them. In this paper, we present a fundamental requirement for the isomorphism between $ecc(G)$ and the complement of $G$, and show that the previous necessary condition given in the literature is inadequate. Also we obtain that diameter of $ecc(T)$ is at most $3$ for any tree and get some characterizations of the eccentric graph of trees.
On a novel graph associated with the circular space and its properties
A configuration of the triple $(\mathcal{P}, \mathcal{L}, \mathcal{I})$ on the incidence relation which holds the properties of "Any two points are incident with at most one line" and "Any two lines are incident with at most one point". In projective geometry, bipartite graphs can be used as an incidence model between the points and the lines of a configuration. The graphs associated with a space are a good tool for understanding the topological and geometric properties of the space. in abstract systems. In this paper, we define a novel graph associated with circular space and obtain its properties in terms of some pure-graph invariants. Also, we characterize it regarding the graph associated with other spaces in the literature.

On graphs with exactly one anti-adjacency eigenvalue and beyond
Published • View PublicationBIB
The anti-adjacency matrix of a graph is constructed from the distance matrix of a graph by keeping each row and each column only the largest distances. This matrix can be interpreted as the opposite of the adjacency matrix, which is instead constructed from the distance matrix of a graph by keeping in each row and each column only the distances equal to 1. The (anti-)adjacency eigenvalues of a graph are those of its (anti-)adjacency matrix. Employing a novel technique introduced by Haemers [Spectral characterization of mixed extensions of small graphs, Discrete Math. 342 (2019) 2760--2764], we characterize all connected graphs with exactly one positive anti-adjacency eigenvalue, which is an analog of Smith's classical result that a connected graph with exactly one positive adjacency eigenvalue iff it is a complete multipartite graph. On this basis, we identify the connected graphs with all but at most two anti-adjacency eigenvalues equal to $-2$ and $0$. Moreover, for the anti-adjacency matrix we determine the HL-index of graphs with exactly one positive anti-adjacency eigenvalue, where the HL-index measures how large in absolute value may be the median eigenvalues of a graph. We finally propose some problems for further study.

On the graphs having at most one positive eccentricity eigenvalue
The eccentricity (anti-adjacency) matrix $\varepsilon(G)$ of a graph $G$ is obtained from the distance matrix by retaining the eccentricities in each row and each column. This matrix is first defined in 2018 by Wang et al. \cite{1}. In this paper we have characterized the graphs which have at most one (hence exactly) positive eigenvalue of $\varepsilon(G)$.

On the spectral characterization of mixed extensions of $P_3$
Published • View PublicationBIB
A mixed extension of a graph $G$ is a graph $H$ obtained from $G$ by replacing each vertex of $G$ by a clique or a coclique, whilst two vertices in $H$ corresponding to distinct vertices $x$ and $y$ of $G$ are adjacent whenever $x$ and $y$ are adjacent in $G$. If $G$ is the path $P_3$, then $H$ has at most three adjacency eigenvalues unequal to $0$ and $-1$. Recently, the first author classified the graphs with the mentioned eigenvalue property. Using this classification we investigate mixed extension of $P_3$ on being determined by the adjacency spectrum. We present several cospectral families, and with the help of a computer we find all graphs on at most $25$ vertices that are cospectral with a mixed extension of $P_3$.

The Kite Graph is Determined by Its Adjacency Spectrum
Published • View PublicationBIB
The Kite graph $Kite_{p}^{q}$ is obtained by appending the complete graph $K_{p}$ to a pendant vertex of the path $P_{q}$. In this paper, the kite graph is proved to be determined by the spectrum of its adjacency matrix.

On the spectral characterization of pineapple graphs

The pineapple graph $K_p^q$ is obtained by appending $q$ pendant edges to a vertex of a complete graph $K_{p}$ ($q\geq 1,\ p\geq 3$). Zhang and Zhang ["Some graphs determined by their spectra", Linear Algebra and its Applications, 431 (2009) 1443-1454] claim that the pineapple graphs are determined by their adjacency spectrum. We show that their claim is false by constructing graphs which are cospectral and non-isomorphic with $K_p^q$ for every $p\geq 4$ and various values of $q$. In addition we prove that the claim is true if $q=2$, and refer to the literature for $q=1$, $p=3$, and $(p,q)=(4,3)$.

On the spectral characterization of Kite graphs

The \textit{Kite graph}, denoted by $Kite_{p,q}$ is obtained by appending a complete graph $K_{p}$ to a pendant vertex of a path $P_{q}$. In this paper, firstly we show that no two non-isomorphic kite graphs are cospectral w.r.t adjacency matrix. Let $G$ be a graph which is cospectral with $Kite_{p,q}$ and the clique number of $G$ is denoted by $w(G)$. Then, it is shown that $w(G)\geq p-2q+1$. Also, we prove that $Kite_{p,2}$ graphs are determined by their adjacency spectrum.
