Characterizing the Degree-Kirchhoff, Gutman, and Schultz Indices in Pentagonal Cylinders and Möbius Chains
The degree-Kirchhoff index of a connected graph is defined as the sum of the reciprocals of the non-zero eigenvalues of the normalized Laplacian matrix, each multiplied by the graph's total degree. Several studies have recently obtained explicit formulations for the degree-Kirchhoff index of various kinds of class graphs. This paper presents closed-form formulas for the degree-Kirchhoff index of pentagonal cylinders and Möbius chains. Additionally, we calculate the Gutman index and Schultz index for these graphs.

New bounds of extended energy of a graph
The extended adjacency matrix of a graph with $n$ vertices is a real symmetric matrix of order $n\times n$ whose $(i,j)$-th entry is the average of the ratio of the degree of the vertex $i$ to that of the vertex $j$ and its reciprocal when $i,j$ are adjacent and zero otherwise. The aggregate of absolute eigenvalues of the extended adjacency matrix is termed the extended energy. In this paper, the concept of extended vertex energy is introduced, and some bounds of extended vertex energy are obtained. From there, we establish some new upper bounds of the extended energy of a graph involving order, size, largest, and smallest degree. We show that those are improvements of some existing bounds. Through direct manipulation, we have also established some more upper and lower bounds of extended energy, which are either better or incomparable with the existing bounds. Finally, some improved bounds of Nordhaus-Gaddum-type are found.

On Kirchhoff index and number of spanning trees of linear pentagonal cylinder and Mobius chain graph
In this paper, we derive closed-form formulas for Kirchhoff index and Wiener index of linear pentagonal cylinder graph and linear pentagonal Mobius chain graph. We also obtain explicit formulas for finding total number of spanning trees for both the graphs.

Ordering Unicyclic Graphs with Respect to F-index
F-index of a graph is the sum of the cube of the degrees of the vertices. In this paper, we investigate the F-indices of unicyclic graphs by introducing some transformation, and characterize the unicyclic graphs with the first five largest F-indices and the unicyclic graphs with the first two smallest F-indices, respectively.

On the F-index and F-coindex of the line graphs of the subdivision graphs
Published • View PublicationBIB
The aim of this work is to investigate the F-index and F-coindex of the line graphs of the cycle graphs, star graphs, tadpole graphs, wheel graphs and ladder graphs using the subdivision concepts. F-index of the line graph of subdivision graph of square grid graph, 2D-lattice, nanotube and nanotorus of $TUC_{4}C_{8}[p, q]$ are also investigated here.

F-Index of Some Graph Operations
Published • View PublicationBIB
The F-index of a graph is defined as the sum of cubes of the vertex degrees of the graph. This was introduced in 1972, in the same paper where the first and second Zagreb indices were introduced to study the structure-dependency of total $π$-electron energy. But this topological index was not further studied till then. Very recently, Furtula and Gutman [B. Furtula, I. Gutman, A forgotten topological index, J. Math. Chem., 53(4)(2015) 1184--1190.] reinvestigated the index and named it "forgotten topological index" or "F-index". In that paper, they present some basic properties of this index and showed that this index can enhance the physico-chemical applicability of Zagreb index. Here, we study the behavior of this index under several graph operations and apply our results to find the F-index of different chemically interesting molecular graphs and nano-structures.

Connective eccentric index of some graph operations
The connective eccentric index of a graph is a topological index involving degrees and eccentricities of vertices of the graph. In this paper, we have studied the connective eccentric index for double graph and double cover. Also we give the connective eccentric index for some graph operations such as joins, symmetric difference, disjunction and splice of graphs.

Bounds for the modified eccentric connectivity index
Published in Advanced Modeling and Optimization, 16(1) (2014), pp. 133 - 142 • Search Publication
The modified eccentric connectivity index of a graph is defined as the sum of the products of eccentricity with the total degree of neighboring vertices, over all vertices of the graph. This is a generalization of eccentric connectivity index. In this paper, we derive some upper and lower bounds for the modified eccentric connectivity index in terms of some graph parameters such as number of vertices, number of edges, radius, minimum degree, maximum degree, total eccentricity, the first and second Zagreb indices, Weiner index etc.
