Radial Projections in $\mathbb{R}^n$ Revisited
We generalize the recent results on radial projections by Orponen, Shmerkin, Wang using two different methods. In particular, we show that given $X,Y\subset \mathbb{R}^n$ Borel sets and $X\neq \emptyset$. If $\dim Y \in (k,k+1]$ for some $k\in \{1,\dots, n-1\}$, then \[ \sup_{x\in X} \dim π_x(Y\setminus \{x\}) \geq \min \{\dim X + \dim Y - k, k\}. \] Our results give a new approach to solving a conjecture of Lund-Pham-Thu in all dimensions and for all ranges of $\dim Y$. The first of our two methods for proving the above theorem is shorter, utilizing a result of the first author and Gan. Our second method, though longer, follows the original methodology of Orponen--Shmerkin--Wang, and requires a higher dimensional incidence estimate and a dual Furstenberg-set estimate for lines. These new estimates may be of independent interest.

Incidence estimates for $α$-dimensional tubes and $β$-dimensional balls in $\mathbb{R}^2$

We prove essentially sharp incidence estimates for a collection of $δ$-tubes and $δ$-balls in the plane, where the $δ$-tubes satisfy an $α$-dimensional spacing condition and the $δ$-balls satisfy a $β$-dimensional spacing condition. Our approach combines a combinatorial argument for small $α, β$ and a Fourier analytic argument for large $α, β$. As an application, we prove a new lower bound for the size of a $(u,v)$-Furstenberg set when $v \ge 1, u + \frac{v}{2} \ge 1$, which is sharp when $u + v \ge 2$. We also show a new lower bound for the discretized sum-product problem.

An incidence estimate and a Furstenberg type estimate for tubes in $\mathbb{R}^2$

We study the $δ$-discretized Szemerédi-Trotter theorem and Furstenberg set problem. We prove sharp estimates for both two problems assuming tubes satisfy some spacing condition. For both two problems, we construct sharp examples that have many common features.
