From Cherednik algebras to knot homology via cuspidal D-modules

Abstract

We prove a rational generalization of Haiman's master formula, conjectured by Gorsky and Neguţ: the bigraded Frobenius character of the associated graded of the finite-dimensional representation $L_{m/n}$ of the rational Cherednik algebra at slope $m/n$ can be expressed using the generator of the same slope in the elliptic Hall algebra acting on its polynomial representation. The filtration on $L_{m/n}$ is induced by the Hodge filtration on the cuspidal character $D$-module. As a corollary, we relate the triply-graded Khovanov-Rozansky homology of the torus knot to the sum of hook multiplicity spaces of $L_{m/n}$, proving a conjecture of Gorsky, Oblomkov, Rasmussen and Shende. We further provide a realization of the torus knot homology in terms of explicit coherent sheaves on Hilbert schemes of points in the plane.
