On the subdirect product of graph bundles
The subdirect product of two finite groups $A$ and $B$ is defined as a subgroup of the direct product $A \times B$, which is a well-known notion in finite group theory. While it is clear that, under appropriate choices of sets of generators $S$, $S_A$ and $S_B$, the Cayley graph $Cay(A \times B, S)$ corresponds to the Cartesian product $Cay(A, S_A) \square Cay(B, S_B)$ of two graphs, there is no analogue at the level of graph product that reflects the notion of subdirect product of groups. This is precisely the problem which we discuss here. By using the concept of graph bundles and the corresponding pullbacks, we introduce an operation on graph bundles such that the Cayley graph of the subdirect product of two groups can be described as the total space of the product of the Cayley graphs. This allows us to define the so-called ``network $K$-theory group of a graph'', inspired by the notion of topological $K$-theory, and we are able to investigate an interesting functor from the category of graphs to the category of abelian groups.
Factorization number and subgroup commutativity degree via spectral invariants

The factorization number $F_2(G)$ of a finite group $G$ is the number of all possible factorizations of $G=HK$ as product of its subgroups $H$ and $K$, while the subgroup commutativity degree $\mathrm{sd}(G)$ of $G$ is the probability of finding two commuting subgroups in $G$ at random. It is known that $\mathrm{sd}(G)$ can be expressed in terms of $F_2(G)$. Denoting by $\mathrm{L}(G)$ the subgroups lattice of $G$, the non--permutability graph of subgroups $Γ_{\mathrm{L}(G)}$ of $G$ is the graph with vertices in $\mathrm{L}(G) \setminus \mathfrak{C}_{\mathrm{L}(G)}(\mathrm{L}(G))$, where $\mathfrak{C}_{\mathrm{L}(G)}(\mathrm{L}(G))$ is the smallest sublattice of $\mathrm{L}(G)$ containing all permutable subgroups of $G$, and edges obtained by joining two vertices $X,Y$ such that $XY\neq YX$. The spectral properties of $Γ_{\mathrm{L}(G)}$ have been recently investigated in connection with $F_2(G)$ and $\mathrm{sd}(G)$. Here we show a new combinatorial formula, which allows us to express $F_2(G)$, and so $\mathrm{sd}(G)$, in terms of adjacency and Laplacian matrices of $Γ_{\mathrm{L}(G)}$.

Erdős introduced the noncommuting graph, in order to study the number of commuting elements in a finite group. Despite the use of combinatorial ideas, his methods involved several techniques of classical analysis. The interest for this graph is becoming relevant in the last years for various reasons. Here we deal with a numerical aspect, showing for the first time an isoperimetric inequality and an analytic condition in terms of Sobolev inequalities. This last result holds in the more general context of weighted locally finite graphs.

The present paper is a note on the tensor degree of finite groups, introduced recently in literature. This numerical invariant generalizes the commutativity degree through the notion of nonabelian tensor square. We show two inequalities, which correlate the tensor and the commutativity degree of finite groups, and, indirectly, structural properties will be discussed.

We study the number of elements $x$ and $y$ of a finite group $G$ such that $x \otimes y= 1_{_{G \otimes G}}$ in the nonabelian tensor square $G \otimes G$ of $G$. This number, divided by $|G|^2$, is called the tensor degree of $G$ and has connection with the exterior degree, introduced few years ago in [P. Niroomand and R. Rezaei, On the exterior degree of finite groups, Comm. Algebra 39 (2011), 335--343]. The analysis of upper and lower bounds of the tensor degree allows us to find interesting structural restrictions for the whole group.

The so--called subgroup commutativity degree $sd(G)$ of a finite group $G$ is the number of permuting subgroups $(H,K) \in \mathrm{L}(G) \times \mathrm{L}(G)$, where $\mathrm{L}(G)$ is the subgroup lattice of $G$, divided by $|\mathrm{L}(G)|^2$. It allows us to measure how $G$ is far from the celebrated classification of quasihamiltonian groups of K. Iwasawa. Here we generalize $sd(G)$, looking at suitable sublattices of $\mathrm{L}(G)$, and show some new lower bounds.

The Sylow graph $Γ(G)$ of a finite group $G$ originated from recent investigations on the so--called $\mathbf{N}$--closed classes of groups. The connectivity of $Γ(G)$ was proved only few years ago, involving the classification of finite simple groups, and the structure of $G$ may be strongly restricted, once information on $Γ(G)$ are given. The first result of the present paper deals with a condition on $\mathbf{N}$--closed classes of groups. The second result deals with a computational criterion, related to the connectivity of $Γ(G)$.
