The linked systems of symmetric group divisible designs of type II is introduced, and several examples are obtained from affine resolvable designs and mutually UFS Latin squares. Furthermore, an equivalence between such symmetric group divisible designs and some association schemes with $5$-classes is provided.
Commutative association schemes obtained from twin prime powers, Fermat primes, Mersenne primes

For prime powers $q$ and $q+\varepsilon$ where $\varepsilon\in\{1,2\}$, an affine resolvable design from $\mathbb{F}_q$ and Latin squares from $\mathbb{F}_{q+\varepsilon}$ yield a set of symmetric designs if $\varepsilon=2$ and a set of symmetric group divisible designs if $\varepsilon=1$. We show that these designs derive commutative association schemes, and determine their eigenmatrices.

We introduce a class of regular unit Hadamard matrices whose entries consist of two complex numbers and their conjugates for a total of four complex numbers. We then show that these matrices are contained in the Bose-Mesner algebra of an association scheme arising from skew Paley matrices.

We give a sufficient condition for a non-commutative association scheme to have a fusion association scheme, and construct non-commutative association schemes from symmetric balanced generalized weighing matrices and generalized Hadamard matrices. We then apply the criterion to these non-commutative association schemes to obtain symmetric fusion association schemes.
Strongly regular decompositions and symmetric association schemes of a power of two
For any positive integer $m$, the complete graph on $2^{2m}(2^m+2)$ vertices is decomposed into $2^m+1$ commuting strongly regular graphs, which give rise to a symmetric association scheme of class $2^{m+2}-2$. Furthermore, the eigenmatrices of the symmetric association schemes are determined explicitly. As an application, the eigenmatrix of the commutative strongly regular decomposition obtained from the strongly regular graphs is derived.

We introduce the concept of linked systems of symmetric group divisible designs. The connection with association schemes is established, and as a consequence we obtain an upper bound on the number of symmetric group divisible designs which are linked. Several examples of linked systems of symmetric group divisible designs are provided.
Unbiased orthogonal designs

The notion of unbiased orthogonal designs is introduced as a generalization among unbiased Hadamard matrices, unbiased weighing matrices and quasi-unbiased weighing matrices. We provide upper bounds and several constructions for mutually unbiased orthogonal designs. As an application, mutually quasi-unbiased weighing matrices for various parameters are obtained.

We extend Hoffman's coclique bound for regular digraphs with the property that its adjacency matrix is normal, and discuss cocliques attaining the inequality. As a consequence, we characterize skew-Bush-type Hadamard matrices in terms of digraphs. We present some normal digraphs whose vertex set is decomposed into disjoint cocliques attaining the bound. The digraphs provided here are relation graphs of some nonsymmetric association schemes.

We define Bush-type generalized Hadamard matrices over abelian groups and construct symmetric Bush-type generalized Hadamard matrices over the additive group of finite field $\mathbb{F}_q$, $q$ a prime power. We then show and study an association scheme obtained from such generalized Hadamard matrices.

It was shown by LeCompte, Martin, and Oweans in 2010 that the existence of mutually unbiased Hadamard matrices and the identity matrix, which coincide with mutually unbiased bases, is equivalent to that of a $Q$-polynomial association scheme of class four which is both $Q$-antipodal and $Q$-bipartite. We prove that the existence of a set of mutually unbiased Bush-type Hadamard matrices is equivalent to that of an association scheme of class five. As an application of this equivalence, we obtain the upper bound of the number of mutually unbiased Bush-type Hadamard matrices of order $4n^2$ to be $2n-1$. This is in contrast to the fact that the upper bound of mutually unbiased Hadamard matrices of order $4n^2$ is $2n^2$. We also discuss a relation of our scheme to some fusion schemes which are $Q$-antipodal and $Q$-bipartite $Q$-polynomial of class $4$.

Inspired by the many applications of mutually unbiased Hadamard matrices, we study mutually unbiased weighing matrices. These matrices are studied for small orders and weights in both the real and complex setting. Our results make use of and examine the sharpness of a very important existing upper bound for the number of mutually unbiased weighing matrices.

We study the structure of unit weighing matrices of order n and weights 2, 3 and 4. We show that the number of inequivalent unit weighing matrices UW(n,4) depends on the number of decompositions of n into sums of non-negative multiples of some specific positive integers. We also show two interesting sporadic cases in order to show the complexities involved for weights larger than 4.

We introduce mutually unbiased complex Hadamard (MUCH) matrices and show that the number of MUCH matrices of order 2n, n odd, is at most 2 and the bound is attained for n = 1,5,9. Furthermore, we prove that certain pairs of mutually unbiased complex Hadamard matrices of order m can be used to construct pairs of unbiased real Hadamard matrices of order 2m. As a consequence we generate a new pair of unbiased real Hadamard matrices of order 36.
