On Lichnerowicz sharp distance-regular graphs
The first non-zero Laplacian eigenvalue $λ_1$ of a finite graph is bounded below by its minimum Lin--Lu--Yau curvature $κ$. This is a discrete analogue of the classical Lichnerowicz Theorem. A graph with $λ_1=κ$ is called Lichnerowicz sharp. In this note, we completely classify all Lichnerowicz sharp distance-regular graphs. Our result substantially strengthens the corresponding classification by Cushing, Kamtue, Koolen, Liu, Münch, and Peyerimhoff (Adv. Math. 2020), which required an extra spectral condition. As a key preparatory step, we provide a classification of all amply regular Terwilliger graphs with positive Lin-Lu-Yau curvature, a result that is interesting of its own right.

Observable sets for the free Schrödinger equation on combinatorial graphs
We study observability for the free Schrödinger equation $\partial_t u = iΔu$ on combinatorial graphs $G=(\mathcal{V},\mathcal{E})$. A subset $E\subset\mathcal{V}$ is observable at time $T>0$ if there exists $C(T,E)>0$ such that for all $u_0\in l^2(\mathcal{V})$, $$ \|u_0\|_{l^2(\mathcal{V})}^2 \le C(T,E)\int_0^T \|e^{itΔ}u_0\|_{l^2(E)}^2\,\d t. $$ On the one-dimensional lattice $\mathbb{Z}$, we obtain a sharp threshold for thick sets: if $E\subset\mathbb{Z}$ is $γ$-thick with $γ\geq1/2$, then $E$ is observable at some time; conversely, for every $γ<1/2$ there exists a $γ$-thick set that is not observable at any time. This critical threshold marks the exact point where the discrete lattice departs from the real line: on the lattice it must be attained, whereas on $\R$ any $γ$-thick set with $γ>0$ already suffices. On $\mathbb{Z}^d$ we show that the complements of finite sets are observable at any time $T>0$. This parallels the Euclidean setting $\R^d$: any set that contains the exterior of a finite ball is observable at any time. For finite graphs we give an equivalent characterization of observability in terms of the zero sets of Laplacian eigenfunctions. As an application, we construct unobservable sets of large density on discrete tori, in contrast with the continuous torus $\mathbb{T}^d$, where every nonempty open set is observable.

Strichartz estimate for discrete Schrödinger equation on layered King's grid
We establish the sharp \( l^1 \to l^{\infty} \) decay estimate for the discrete Schrödinger equation (DS) on the Layered King's Grid (LKG), with a dispersive decay rate of \( \langle t \rangle^{-13/12} \), which is faster than that for $3$-dimensional lattice (\( \langle t \rangle^{-1} \), see \cite{SK05}). This decay estimate enables us to derive the corresponding Strichartz estimate via the standard Keel--Tao argument. Our approach relies on using techniques from Newton polyhedra to analyze singularities.

Monotonic normalized heat diffusion for distance-regular graphs with classical parameters of diameter $3$
We prove the monotonic normalized heat diffusion property on distance-regular graphs with classical parameters of diameter $3$. Regev and Shinkar found a Cayley graph for which this property fails. On the other hand, this property has been proved on abelian Cayley graphs, graphs with $3$ distinct eigenvalues and regular bipartite graphs with $4$ distinct eigenvalues by Price, Nica and Kubo-Namba, respectively. A distance regular graph with classical parameters of diameter $3$ has $4$ distinct eigenvalues and is not necessarily bipartite or vertex transitive.

Ricci curvature, diameter and eigenvalues of amply regular graphs
Amply regular graphs are graphs with local distance-regularity constraints. In this paper, we prove a weaker version of a conjecture proposed by Qiao, Park, and Koolen on diameter bounds of amply regular graphs and make new progress on Terwilliger's conjecture on finiteness of amply regular graphs. Terwilliger's conjecture can be considered as a natural extension of the Bannai-Ito conjecture about distance-regular graphs confirmed by Bang, Dubickas, Koolen, and Moulton. As a consequence, we show that there are only finitely many amply regular graphs with parameters $(n,d,α,β)$ satisfying $α\leq 6β-9$. We achieve these results by a significantly improved Lin--Lu--Yau curvature estimate and new Bakry--Émery curvature estimates. We further discuss applications of our curvature estimates to bounding eigenvalues, isoperimetric constants, and expansion properties. In addition, we obtain a volume estimate, which is sharp for hypercubes.

Curvature and local matchings of conference graphs and extensions
We prove a conjecture of Bonini et al. on the precise values of the Lin--Lu--Yau curvature of conference graphs, i.e., strongly regular graphs with parameters $(4γ+1,2γ,γ-1,γ)$. Our method depends only on the parameter relations and applies to broader classes of amply regular graphs. In particular, we develop a new combinatorial approach to show the existence of local perfect matchings. A key observation is that counting common neighbors leads to useful quadratic polynomials. As a corollary, we derive an interesting number-theoretic result concerning quadratic residues.
