Unbalanced signed bipartite graphs containing no negative $C_4$ with maximum spectral radius
A signed graph $(G,σ)$ is a graph $G$ together with an assignment $σ$ of either a positive sign or a negative sign to each edge. A signed graph is unbalanced if it contains a cycle with odd number of negative edges. The spectral radius of a signed graph is the spectral radius of its adjacency matrix, in which for vertices $u,v$, the $(u,v)$-entry is $0$, $-1$, or $1$ depending on whether $uv$ represents no edge, a negative edge, or a positive edge, respectively. Recently, Conde, Dratman and Grippo [Discrete Math. 349 (2026) 114942] proved that there is only one unbalanced signed bipartite graph with maximum spectral radius, up to switching isomorphism. In this paper, we establish a spectral Turán type results for signed bipartite graphs. More precisely, we determine the unique graphs containing no negative cycles of length four with maximum spectral radius, up to switching isomorphism, among unbalanced signed bipartite graphs with fixed bipartite sizes and order, respectively.
Extremal distance spectral radius of graphs with fixed size
Let $m$ be a positive integer. Brualdi and Hoffman proposed the problem to determine the (connected) graphs with maximum spectral radius in a given graph class and they posed a conjecture for the class of graphs with given size $m$. After partial results due to Friedland and Stanley, Rowlinson completely confirmed the conjecture. The distance spectral radius of a connected graph is the largest eigenvalue of its distance matrix. We investigate the problem to determine the connected graphs with minimum distance spectral radius in the class of graphs with size $m$. Given $m$, there is exactly one positive integer $n$ such that ${n-1\choose 2} <m\leq {n\choose 2}$. We establish some structural properties of the extremal graphs for all $m$ and solve the problem for ${n-1\choose 2}+\max\{\frac{n-6}{2},1\}\le m\leq {n\choose 2}$. We give a conjecture for the remaining case. To prove the main results, we also determine the the complements of forests of fixed order with large and small distance spectral radius.
Spectral Turán problem for $\mathcal{K}_{2,t}^-$-free unbalanced signed graphs
We determine the maximum index and the signed graphs with the maximum index among all $\mathcal{K}_{2,t}^-$-free unbalanced signed graphs with fixed order for $t\geq 3$, as well as the second maximum index and the signed graphs with the second maximum index among all $\mathcal{K}_{2,t}^-$-free unbalanced signed graphs with fixed order for $t\geq 4$.
On ABC spectral radius of uniform hypergraphs
Given a $k$-uniform hypergraph $G$ with vertex set $[n]$ and edge set $E(G)$, the ABC tensor $\mathcal{ABC}(G)$ of $G$ is the $k$-order $n$-dimensional tensor with \[
\mathcal{ABC}(G)_{i_1, \dots, i_k}=
\begin{cases}
\dfrac{1}{(k-1)!}\sqrt[k]{\dfrac{\sum_{i\in e}d_{i}-k}{\prod_{i\in e}d_{i}}} & \mbox{if $e\in E(G)$}
0 & \mbox{otherwise} \end{cases} \] for $i_j\in [n]$ with $j\in [k]$, where $d_i$ is the degree of vertex $i$ in $G$. The ABC spectral radius of a uniform hypergraph is the spectral radius of its ABC tensor. We give tight lower and upper bounds for the ABC spectra radius, and determine the maximum ABC spectral radii of uniform hypertrees, uniform non-hyperstar hypertrees and uniform non-power hypertrees of given size, as well as the maximum ABC spectral radii of unicyclic uniform hypergraphs and linear unicyclic uniform hypergraphs of given size, respectively. We also characterize those uniform hypergraphs for which the maxima for the ABC spectral radii are actually attained in all cases.
On the transmission of uniform unicyclic hypergraphs
The transmission of a connected hypergraph is defined as the summation of distances between all unordered pairs of distinct vertices. We determine the unique uniform unicyclic hypergraphs of fixed size with minimum and maximum transmissions, respectively.
The distance Laplacian spectral radius of unicyclic graphs
For a connected graph $G$, the distance Laplacian spectral radius of $G$ is the spectral radius of its distance Laplacian matrix $\mathcal{L}(G)$ defined as $\mathcal{L}(G)=Tr(G)-D(G)$, where $Tr(G)$ is a diagonal matrix of vertex transmissions of $G$ and $D(G)$ is the distance matrix of $G$. In this paper, we determine the unique graphs with maximum distance Laplacian spectral radius among unicyclic graphs.

We study the effect of three types of graft transformations to increase or decrease the distance spectral radius of uniform hypergraphs, and we determined the unique $k$-uniform hypertrees with maximum, second maximum, minimum and second minimum distance spectral radius, respectively.

We give sharp upper bounds for the ordinary spectral radius and signless Laplacian spectral radius of a uniform hypergraph in terms of the average $2$-degrees or degrees of vertices, respectively, and we also give a lower bound for the ordinary spectral radius. We also compare these bounds with known ones.
