A Chvátal-type codegree condition for Hamiltonian cycles in $k$-uniform hypergraphs
We prove an asymptotic Chvátal-type codegree criterion for tight Hamiltonian cycles in $k$-uniform hypergraphs for every fixed $k\ge3$. The criterion allows small degrees to be compensated by large degrees in the link graphs of $(k-2)$-tuples. It strengthens the asymptotic Dirac-type theorem by Rödl, Ruciński and Szemerédi and implies a Pósa-type criterion conjectured by Schülke.
Spanning tight components in 4-uniform hypergraphs
We prove that every $n$-vertex 4-uniform hypergraph with minimum codegree at least $\lfloor n/4 \rfloor$ has a spanning tight component. This is tight, and it settles the 4-uniform case of a conjecture of Illingworth, Lang, Müyesser, Parczyk, and Sgueglia.

Operator solutions of linear systems and small cancellation
We show that if a graph has minimum vertex degree at least d and girth at least g, where (d, g) is (3, 6) or (4, 4), then the incidence system of the graph has a (possibly infinite-dimensional) quantum solution over $\mathbb{Z}_p$ for every choice of vertex weights and integer $p \geq 2$. In particular, there are linear systems over $\mathbb{Z}_p$, for $p$ an odd prime, such that the corresponding linear system nonlocal game has a perfect commuting-operator strategy, but no perfect classical strategy.

Stretching Demi-Bits and Nondeterministic-Secure Pseudorandomness
We develop the theory of cryptographic nondeterministic-secure pseudorandomness beyond the point reached by Rudich's original work (Rudich 1997), and apply it to draw new consequences in average-case complexity and proof complexity. Specifically, we show the following: *Demi-bit stretch*: Super-bits and demi-bits are variants of cryptographic pseudorandom generators which are secure against nondeterministic statistical tests (Rudich 1997). They were introduced to rule out certain approaches to proving strong complexity lower bounds beyond the limitations set out by the Natural Proofs barrier (Rudich and Razborov 1997). Whether demi-bits are stretchable at all had been an open problem since their introduction. We answer this question affirmatively by showing that: every demi-bit $b:\{0,1\}^n\to \{0,1\}^{n+1}$ can be stretched into sublinear many demi-bits $b':\{0,1\}^{n}\to \{0,1\}^{n+n^{c}}$, for every constant $0<c<1$. >>> see rest of abstract in paper.
