On the Green-Tao theorem for sparse sets
We establish the following quantitative form of the Green--Tao theorem: if a set $\mathcal{A}$ of relative density $δ$ within the primes up to $N$ contains no nontrivial arithmetic progressions of length $k\geq 4$, then $δ\ll \exp(-(\log \log \log N)^{c_k})$ for some $c_k>0$. This improves on previous work of Rimanić and Wolf. The main new ingredients in the proof are a version of the Leng--Sah--Sawhney quasipolynomial inverse theorem for unbounded functions and a dense model theorem with quasipolynomial dependencies, which may be of independent interest.
Quantitative bounds in a popular polynomial Szemerédi theorem
We obtain polylogarithmic bounds in the polynomial Szemerédi theorem when the polynomials have distinct degrees and zero constant terms. Specifically, let $P_1, \dots, P_m \in \mathbb Z[y]$ be polynomials with distinct degrees, each having zero constant term. Then there exists a constant $c = c(P_1,\dots,P_m) > 0$ such that any subset $A \subset \{1,2,\dots,N\}$ of density at least $(\log N)^{-c}$ contains a nontrivial polynomial progression of the form $x, x+P_1(y), \dots, x+P_m(y)$. In addition, we prove an effective ``popular'' version, showing that every dense subset $A$ has some non-zero $y$ such that the number of polynomial progressions in $A$ with this difference $y$ is asymptotically at least as large as in a random set of the same density as $A$.
Local Fourier uniformity of higher divisor functions on average
Let $τ_k$ be the $k$-fold divisor function. By constructing an approximant of $τ_k$, denoted as $τ_k^*$, which is a normalized truncation of the $k$-fold divisor function, we prove that when $\exp\left(C\log^{1/2}X(\log\log X)^{1/2}\right)\leq H\leq X$ and $C>0$ is sufficiently large, the following estimate holds for almost all $x\in[X,2X]$: \[ \Big|\sum_{x<n\leq x+H}(τ_k(n)-τ_k^*(n)) e(α_dn^d+\cdots+α_1n)\Big|=o(H\log^{k-1}X), \] where $α_1, \dots, α_d\in \mathbb{R}$ are arbitrary frequencies.

Let $k\geq1$ be a fixed integer, and $\mathcal P_N$ be the set of primes no more than $N$. We prove that if a set $\mathcal A\subset\mathcal P_N$ contains no patterns $p_1,p_1+(p_2-1)^k$, where $p_1,p_2$ are prime numbers, then \[ \frac{|\mathcal A|}{|\mathcal P_N|}\ll(\log\log N)^{-\frac{1}{4k^3+23k^2}}. \]
