A Generalized Recurrence for fully degenerate Bell polynomials
This paper addresses the unnatural appearance of the two-variable degenerate Fubini polynomials in a recently derived Spivey-type recurrence relation for the fully degenerate Bell polynomials. To solve this, we introduce a new family of polynomial which we also call the fully degenerate Bell polynomials, along with their two-variable counterparts. Our main contribution is the derivation of natural Spivey-type recurrence relations using operator methods. We extend these results to the r-counterparts, the fully degenerate r-Bell polynomials providing Dobinski-like, finite sum, operator expressions, and Spivey-type recurrence relations for all the new polynomials.

Recurrence relations for degenerate Bell and Dowling polynomials via Boson operators
Spivey found a recurrence relation for the Bell numbers by using combinatorial method. The aim of this paper is to derive Spivey's type recurrence relations for the degenerate Bell polynomials and the degenerate Dowling polynomials by using the boson annihilation and creation operators satisfying the commutation relation aa+-a+a=1. In addition, we derive a Spivey's type recurrence relation for the r-Dowling polynomials.

Combinatorial identities related to degenerate Stirling numbers of the second kind
The study of degenerate versions of certain special polynomials and numbers, which was initiated by Carlitz's work on degenerate Euler and degenerate Bernoulli polynomials, has recently seen renewed interest among mathematicians. The aim of this paper is to study some properties, certain identities, recurrence relations and explicit expressions for degenerate Stirling numbers of the second kind, which are a degenerate version of the Stirling numbers of the second kind. These numbers appear very frequently when we study various degenerate versions of many special polynomials and numbers. Especially, we consider some closely related polynomials and power series in connection with a degenerate version of Euler's formula for the Stirling numbers of the second kind.

Probabilistic degenerate Stirling numbers of the first kind and their applications
Let Y be a random variable whose degenerate moment generating functions exist in some neighborhoods of the origin. The aim of this paper is to study the probabilistic degenerate Stirling numbers of the first kind associated with Y which are constructed from the degenerate cumulant generating function of Y. They are a degenerate version of the probabilistic Stirling numbers of the first kind associated with Y, which were recently introduced by Adell-Benyi. We investigate some properties, related identities, recurrence relations and explicit expressions for those numbers. In addition, we apply our results to the special cases of normal and gamma random variables.

Generalization of Spivey's recurrence relation
In 2008, Spivey found a recurrence relation for the Bell numbers. We consider the probabilistic r-Bell polynomials associated with which are a probabilistic extension of the r-Bell polynomials. Here Y is a random variable whose moment generating function exists in some neighborhood of the origin . The aim of this paper is to generalize the relation for the Bell numbers to that for the probabilistic r-Bell polynomials associated with Y.

Generalized degenerate stirling numbers arising from degenerate boson normal ordering
It is remarkable that, in recent years, intensive studies have been done for degenerate versions of many special polynomials and numbers and have yielded many interesting results. The aim of this paper is to study the generalized degenerate (r, s)-Stirling numbers of the second and their natural extensions to polynomials, namely the generalized degenerate (r, s)-Bell polynomials, arising from certain degenerate boson normal ordering. We derive some properties, explicit expressions and generating functions for those numbers and polynomials. The generalized degenerate (r, s)-Stirling numbers of the second and the degenerate boson normal ordering are respectively degenerate versions of the generalized (r, s)-Stirling numbers of the second and the boson normal ordering studied earlier by Blasiak-Person-Solomon.

Normal ordering associated with λ-Stirling numbers inλ-Shift algebra
The Stirling numbers of the second kind are related to normal orderings in the Weyl algebra, while the unsigned Stirling numbers of the first kind are related to normal orderings in the shift algebra. Kim-Kim introduced a λ-analogue of the unsigned Stirling numbers of the first kind and that of the r-Stirling numbers of the first kind. In this paper, we introduce a λ-analogue of the shift algebra (called λ-shift algebra) and investigate normal orderings in the λ-shift algebra. From the normal orderings in the λ-shift algebra, we derive some identities about the λ-analogue of the unsigned Stirling numbers of the first kind .

Some identities on degenerate r-stirling numbers via boson operators

Broder introduced the r-Stirling numbers of the first kind and of the second kind which enumerate restricted permutations and respectively restricted partitions, the restriction being that the first r elements must be in distinct cycles and respectively in distinct subsets. Kim-Kim-Lee-Park constructed the degenerate r-Stirling numbers of both kinds as degenerate versions of them. The aim of this paper is to derive some identities and recurrence relations for the degenerate r-Stirling numbers of the first kind and of the second kind via boson operators. In particular, we obtain the normal ordering of a degenerate integral power of the number operator multiplied by an integral power of the creation boson operator in terms of boson operators where the degenerate r-Stirling numbers of the second kind appear as the coefficients.
Complete and incomplete Bell polynomials associated with Lah-Bell numbers and polynomials
Published • View PublicationBIB
The nth r-extended Lah-Bell number is defined as the number of ways a set with $n+r$ elements can be partitioned into ordered blocks such that r distinguished elements have to be in distinct ordered blocks. The aim of this paper is to introduce incomplete r-extended Lah-Bell polynomials and complete $r$-extended Lah-Bell polynomials respectively as multivariate versions of $r$-Lah numbers and the r-extended Lah-Bell numbers and to investigate some properties and identities for these polynomials. From these investigations, we obtain some expressions for the r-Lah numbers and the r-extended Lah-Bell numbers as finite sums.

Duality of translation association schemes coming from certain actions
Translation association schemes are constructed from actions of finite groups on finite abelian groups satisfying certain natural conditions. It is also shown that the mere existence of maps from finite groups to themselves sending each element in their groups to its `adjoint' entails the self-duality of the constructed association schemes. Many examples of these, including Hamming scheme and sesquilinear forms schemes, are provided. This con- struction is further generalized to show the duality of the association schemes coming from actions of two finite groups on the same finite abelian group. An example of this is supplied with weak Hamming schemes.
