Minimum distances of LDPC codes in 5G standard
We propose several approaches for bounding the minim\-um distances of the family of quasi-cyclic LDPC codes in the 5G NR standard. In particular, we show that the high-rate [9984, 8448] and the low-rate [25344, 8448] BG1 5G LDPC codes have minimum distances in the ranges {8..14} and {22..57}, respectively. Also we propose a new early termination approach based on circulant modular reduction, which significantly lowers syndrome calculation complexity for the LDPC decoder.
On null completely regular codes in Manhattan metric
We investigate the class of completely regular codes in graphs with a distance partition C_0,..., C_ρ, where each set C_i, for 0<=i<=r-1, is an independent set. This work focuses on the existence problem for such codes in the n-dimensional infinite grid. We demonstrate that several parameter families of such codes necessarily arise from binary or ternary Hamming graphs or do not exist. Furthermore, employing binary linear programming techniques, we explore completely regular codes in infinite grids of dimensions 3 and 4 for the cases r=1 and r=2.
$L_{\infty}$ norm minimization for nowhere-zero integer eigenvectors of the block graphs of Steiner triple systems and Johnson graphs
We study nowhere-zero integer eigenvectors of the block graphs of Steiner triple systems and the Johnson graphs. For the first eigenvalue we obtain the minimums of $L_{\infty}$-norm for several infinite series of Johnson graphs, including J(n,3) as well as general upper and lower bounds. The minimization of $L_{\infty}$-norm for nowhere-zero integer eigenvectors with the second eigenvalue of the block graph of a Steiner triple system $S$ is equivalent to finding the minimum nowhere-zero flow for Steiner triple system S. For the all Assmuss-Mattson Steiner triple systems of order at least 99 we prove that this minimum is bounded above by 4.

We prove that any completely regular code with minimum eigenvalue in any geometric graph G corresponds to a completely regular code in the clique graph of G. Studying the interrelation of these codes, a complete characterization of the completely regular codes in the Johnson graphs J(n,w) with covering radius w-1 and strength 1 is obtained. In particular this result finishes a characterization of the completely regular codes in the Johnson graphs J(n,3). We also classify the completely regular codes of strength 1 in the Johnson graphs J(n,4) with only one case for the eigenvalues left open.

Let L be a Desarguesian 2-spread in the Grassmann graph $J_q(n,2)$. We prove that the collection of the 4-subspaces, which do not contain subspaces from L is a completely regular code in $J_q(n,4)$. Similarly, we construct a completely regular code in the Johnson graph $J(n,6)$ from the Steiner quadruple system of the extended Hamming code. We obtain several new completely regular codes covering radius 1 in the Grassmann graph $J_2(6,3)$ using binary linear programming.

We continue the study of the class of binary extended perfect propelinear codes constructed in the previous paper and consider their permutation automorphism (symmetry) groups and Steiner quadruple systems. We show that the automorphism group of the SQS of any such code coincides with the permutation automorphism group of the code. In particular, the SQS of these codes are complete invariants for the isomorphism classes of these codes. We obtain a criterion for the point transitivity of the automorphism group of SQS of proposed codes in terms of GL-equivalence (similar to EA-type equivalence for permutations of F^r). Based on these results we suggest a new construction for coordinate transitive and neighbor transitive extended perfect codes.

A pair $(T_0,T_1)$ of disjoint sets of vertices of a graph $G$ is called a perfect bitrade in $G$ if any ball of radius 1 in $G$ contains exactly one vertex in $T_0$ and $T_1$ or none simultaneously. The volume of a perfect bitrade $(T_0,T_1)$ is the size of $T_0$. In particular, if $C_0$ and $C_1$ are distinct perfect codes with minimum distance $3$ in $G$ then $(C_0\setminus C_1,C_1\setminus C_0)$ is a perfect bitrade. For any $q\geq 3$, $r\geq 1$ we construct perfect bitrades in the Hamming graph $H(qr+1,q)$ of volume $(q!)^r$ and show that for $r=1$ their volume is minimum.
A concatenation construction for propelinear perfect codes from regular subgroups of GA(r,2)
A code $C$ is called propelinear if there is a subgroup of $Aut(C)$ of order $|C|$ acting transitively on the codewords of $C$. In the paper new propelinear perfect binary codes of any admissible length more than $7$ are obtained by a particular case of the Solov'eva concatenation construction--1981 and the regular subgroups of the general affine group of the vector space over $GF(2)$.
On components of a Kerdock code and the dual of the BCH code $C_{1,3}$
In the paper we investigate the structure of $i$-components of two classes of codes: Kerdock codes and the duals of the primitive cyclic BCH code with designed distance 5 of length $n=2^m-1$, for odd $m$. We prove that for any admissible length a punctured Kerdock code consists of two $i$-components and the dual of BCH code is a $i$-component for any $i$. We give an alternative proof for the fact presented by De Caen and van Dam in 1999 that the restriction of the Hamming scheme to a doubly shortened Kerdock code is an association scheme.

In the current work we consider the minimization problems for the number of nonzero or negative values of vectors from the first and second eigenspaces of the Johnson scheme respectively. The topic is a meeting point for generalizations of the Manikam-Miklós-Singhi conjecture proven by Blinovski and the minimum support problem for the eigenspaces of the Johnson graph, asymptotically solved by authors in a recent paper.

We consider the regular subgroups of the automorphism group of the linear Hadamard code. These subgroups correspond to the regular subgroups of $GA(r,2)$, w.t.r action on the vectors of $F_2^{r}$, where $n=2^r-1 $ is the length of the Hamadard code. We show that the dihedral group $D_{2^{r-1}}$ is a regular subgroup of $GA(r,2)$ only when $r=3$. Following the approach of \cite{M} we study the regular subgroups of the Hamming code obtained from the regular subgroups of the automorphism group of the Hadamard code of length 15.
On maximum components of a class of perfect codes
In the paper we show the existence of a large class of extended perfect binary codes containing maximum ij-components.
On the extention of propelinear structures of Nordstrom-Robinson code to Hamming code
A code is called propelinear if its automorphism group contains a subgroup that acts regularly on its codewords, which is called a propelinear structure on the code. In the paper a classification of the propelinear structures on the Nordstrom-Robinson code is obtained and the question of extension of these structures to propelinear structures of the Hamming code, that contains the Nordstrom-Robinson code. The result partially relies on a representation of all partitions of the Hamming code into codes with parameters of Nordstrom-Robinson code via Fano planes which is given in the paper.

Studying binary perfect codes we show the existence of homogeneous nontransitive codes. Thus, as far as perfect codes are concerned, the propelinear codes are strictly contained in transitive codes, wheresas homogeneous codes form a strict subclass of transitive codes. In the work we deduce a necessary and sufficient condition for transitivity of perfect binary codes of rank one more than that of Hamming code. The paper is in Russian.

For a pair of given binary perfect codes C and D of lengths t and m respectively, the Mollard construction outputs a perfect code M(C,D) of length tm + t + m, having subcodes C1 and D2, that are obtained from codewords of C and D respectively by adding appropriate number of zeros. In this work we generalize of a result for symmetry groups of Vasilev codes [2] and find the group Stab_{D2}Sym(M(C,D)). The result is preceded by and partially based on a discussion of linearity of coordinate positions (points) in a nonlinear perfect code (non-projective Steiner triple system respectively).

A code is called transitive if its automorphism group (the isometry group) of the code acts transitively on its codewords. If there is a subgroup of the automorphism group acting regularly on the code, the code is called propelinear. Using Magma software package we establish that among 201 equivalence classes of transitive perfect codes of length 15 from \cite{ost} there is a unique nonpropelinear code. We solve the existence problem for transitive nonpropelinear perfect codes for any admissible length $n$, $n\geq 15$. Moreover we prove that there are at least 5 pairwise nonequivalent such codes for any admissible length $n$, $n\geq 255$.

The paper proves that there exist an exponential number of nonequivalent propelinear extended perfect binary codes of length growing to infinity. Specifically, it is proved that all transitive extended perfect binary codes found by Potapov are propelinear. All such codes have small rank, which is one more than the rank of the extended Hamming code of the same length. We investigate the properties of these codes and show that any of them has a normalized propelinear representation.
