Eigenvalues and spanning trees with constrained degree
In this paper, we study some spanning trees with bounded degree and leaf degree from eigenvalues. For any integer $k\geq2$, a $k$-tree is a spanning tree in which every vertex has degree no more than $k$. Let $T$ be a spanning tree of a connected graph. The leaf degree of $T$ is the maximum number of end-vertices attached to $v$ in $T$ for any $v\in V(T)$. By referring to the technique shown in [Eigenvalues and $[a,b]$-factors in regular graphs, J. Graph Theory. 100 (2022) 458-469], for an $r$-regular graph $G$, we provide an upper bound for the fourth largest adjacency eigenvalue of $G$ to guarantee the existence of a $k$-tree. Moreover, for a $t$-connected graph, we prove a tight sufficient condition for the existence of a spanning tree with leaf degree at most $k$ in terms of spectral radius. This generalizes a result of Theorem 1.5 in [Spectral radius and spanning trees of graphs, Discrete Math. 346 (2023) 113400]. Finally, for a general graph $G$, we present two sufficient conditions for the existence of a spanning tree with leaf degree at most $k$ via the Laplacian eigenvalues of $G$ and the spectral radius of the complement of $G$, respectively.

Let $\mathbb{G}_{n,γ}$ be the set of simple and connected graphs on $n$ vertices and with domination number $γ$. The graph with minimum spectral radius among $\mathbb{G}_{n,γ}$ is called the minimizer graph. In this paper, we first prove that the minimizer graph of $\mathbb{G}_{n,γ}$ must be a tree. Moreover, for $γ\in\{1,2,3,\lceil\frac{n}{3}\rceil,\lfloor\frac{n}{2}\rfloor\}$, we characterize all minimizer graphs in $\mathbb{G}_{n,γ}$.

Let $G$ be a $k$-uniform hypergraph with vertex set $V(G)$ and edge set $E(G)$. A connected and acyclic hypergraph is called a supertree. For $0\leqα<1$, the $α$-spectral radius of $G$ is the largest $H$-eigenvalue of $αD(G)+(1-α)A(G)$, where $D(G)$ and $A(G)$ are the diagonal tensor of the degrees and the adjacency tensor of $G$, respectively. In this paper, we determine the unique supertrees with the maximum $α$-spectral radius among all $k$-uniform supertrees with $m$ edges and independence number $β$ for $\lceil\frac{m(k-1)+1}{k}\rceil\leqβ\leq m$, among all $k$-uniform supertrees with given degree sequences, and among all $k$-uniform supertrees with $m$ edges and matching number $μ$ for $1\leqμ\leq\lfloor\frac{m(k-1)+1}{k}\rfloor$, respectively.

Let $G$ be a graph with adjacency matrix $A(G)$ and let $D(G)$ be a diagonal matrix of the degrees of $G$. In 2017, Nikiforov defined the $A_α$-matrix of $G$ as \begin{equation*} A_α(G)=αG)+(1-α)A(G), \end{equation*}d where $α\in[0,1]$ is an arbitrary real number. The largest eigenvalue of $A_α(G)$ is called the $A_α$-spectral radius of $G$. Let $n$, $t$, $k$ be positive integers, satisfying $t\geq1$, $k\geq2$, $n\geq k+2$, and $n\equiv k$ (mod $2$). In this paper, for $α\in[0,\frac{1}{2}]$, we determine the extremal graphs with the maximum $A_α$-spectral radius among all $t$-connected graphs on $n$ vertices with matching number $\frac{n-k}{2}$ at most. This generalizes some results of O (2021) and Zhang (2022).
Distance signless Laplacian spectral radius and perfect matching in graphs and bipartite graphs
The distance matrix $\mathcal{D}$ of a connected graph $G$ is the matrix indexed by the vertices of $G$ which entry $\mathcal{D}_{i,j}$ equals the distance between the vertices $v_i$ and $v_j$. The distance signless Laplacian matrix $\mathcal{Q}(G)$ of graph $G$ is defined as $\mathcal{Q}(G)=Diag(Tr)+\mathcal{D}(G)$, where $Diag(Tr)$ is the diagonal matrix of the vertex transmissions in $G$. The largest eigenvalue of $\mathcal{Q}(G)$ is called the distance signless Laplacian spectral radius of $G$, written as $η_1(G)$. And a perfect matching in a graph is a set of disadjacent edges covering every vertex of $G$. In this paper, we present two suffcient conditions in terms of the distance signless Laplacian sepectral radius for the exsitence of perfect matchings in graphs and bipatite graphs.

The zeroth-order general Randić index of graph $G=(V_G,E_G)$, denoted by $^0R_α(G)$, is the sum of items $(d_{v})^α$ over all vertices $v\in V_G$, where $α$ is a pertinently chosen real number. In this paper, we obtain the sharp upper and lower bounds on $^0R_α$ of trees with a domination number $γ$, in intervals $α\in(-\infty,0)\cup(1,\infty)$ and $α\in(0,1)$, respectively. The corresponding extremal graphs of these bounds are also characterized.
Signless Laplacian spectral radius and matching in graphs
The signless Laplacian matrix of a graph $G$ is given by $Q(G)=D(G)+A(G)$, where $D(G)$ is a diagonal matrix of vertex degrees and $A(G)$ is the adjacency matrix. The largest eigenvalue of $Q(G)$ is called the signless Laplacian spectral radius, denoted by $q_1=q_1(G)$. In this paper, some properties between the signless Laplacian spectral radius and perfect matching in graphs are establish. Let $r(n)$ be the largest root of equation $x^3-(3n-7)x^2+n(2n-7)x-2(n^2-7n+12)=0$. We show that $G$ has a perfect matching for $n=4$ or $n\geq10$, if $q_1(G)>r(n)$, and for $n=6$ or $n=8$, if $q_1(G)>4+2\sqrt{3}$ or $q_1(G)>6+2\sqrt{6}$ respectively, where $n$ is a positive even integer number. Moreover, there exists graphs $K_{n-3}\vee K_1 \vee \overline{K_2}$ such that $q_1(K_{n-3}\vee K_1 \vee \overline{K_2})=r(n)$ if $n\geq4$, a graph $K_2\vee\overline{K_4}$ such that $q_1(K_2\vee\overline{K_4})=4+2\sqrt{3}$ and a graph $K_3\vee\overline{K_5}$ such that $q_1(K_3\vee\overline{K_5})=6+2\sqrt{6}$. These graphs all have no prefect matching.
Resistance distance-based graph invariants and spanning trees of graphs derived from the strong product of $P_2$ and $C_n$
Let $G_n$ be a graph obtained by the strong product of $P_2$ and $C_n$, where $n\geqslant3$. In this paper, explicit expressions for the Kirchhoff index, multiplicative degree-Kirchhoff index and number of spanning trees of $G_n$ are determined, respectively. It is surprising to find that the Kirchhoff (resp. multiplicative degree-Kirchhoff) index of $G_n$ is almost one-sixth of its Wiener (resp. Gutman) index. Moreover, let $\mathcal{G}^r_n$ be the set of subgraphs obtained from $G_n$ by deleting any $r$ vertical edges of $G_n$, where $0\leqslant r\leqslant n$. Explicit formulas for the Kirchhoff index and the number of spanning trees for any graph $G^r_n\in \mathcal{G}^r_{n}$ are completely established, respectively. Finally, it is interesting to see that the Kirchhoff index of $G^r_n$ is almost one-sixth of its Wiener index.
Signless Laplacian spectral radius and fractional matchings in graphs
A fractional matching of a graph $G$ is a function $f$ giving each edge a number in $[0,1]$ such that $\sum_{e\inΓ(v)}f(e)\leq1$ for each vertex $v\in V(G)$, where $Γ(v)$ is the set of edges incident to $v$. The fractional matching number of $G$, written $α^{\prime}_*(G)$, is the maximum value of $\sum_{e\in E(G)}f(e)$ over all fractional matchings. In this paper, we investigate the relations between the fractional matching number and the signless Laplacian spectral radius of a graph. Moreover, we give some sufficient spectral conditions for the existence of a fractional perfect matching.
Kirchhoff index, multiplicative degree-Kirchhoff index and spanning trees of the linear crossed polyomino chains
Let $G_n$ be a linear crossed polyomino chain with $n$ four-order complete graphs. In this paper, explicit formulas for the Kirchhoff index, the multiplicative degree-Kirchhoff index and the number of spanning trees of $G_n$ are determined, respectively. It is interesting to find that the Kirchhoff (resp. multiplicative degree-Kirchhoff) index of $G_n$ is approximately one quarter of its Wiener (resp. Gutman) index. More generally, let $\mathcal{G}^r_n$ be the set of subgraphs obtained by deleting $r$ vertical edges of $G_n$, where $0\leqslant r\leqslant n+1$. For any graph $G^r_n\in \mathcal{G}^r_{n}$, its Kirchhoff index and number of spanning trees are completely determined, respectively. Finally, we show that the Kirchhoff index of $G^r_n$ is approximately one quarter of its Wiener index.
On spectral radius of strongly connected digraphs
We determine the digraphs which achieve the second, the third and the fourth minimum spectral radii respectively among strongly connected digraphs of order $n\ge 4$, and thus we answer affirmatively the problem whether the unique digraph which achieves the minimum spectral radius among all strongly connected bicyclic digraphs of order $n$ achieves the second minimum spectral radius among all strongly connected digraphs of order $n$ for $n\ge 4$ proposed in
[H. Lin, J. Shu, A note on the spectral characterization of strongly connected bicyclic digraphs, Linear Algebra Appl. 436 (2012) 2524--2530]. We also discuss the strongly connected bicyclic digraphs with small and large spectral radii respectively.
Signless laplacian characteristic polynomials of regular graph transformations
Let $G$ be a simple $r$-regular graph with $n$ vertices and $m$ vertices. We give the signless Laplacian characteristic polynomials of $xyz$-transformations $G^{xyz}$ of $G$ in terms of $n$, $m$, $r$ and the signless Laplacian spectrum of $G$.
