Distance spectral radius and $H_b$-factors in graphs
Let $G$ be a connected graph, and let $b\geq2$ be an even integer. The distance spectral radius of $G$ is denoted by $μ(G)$. An $H_b$-factor of $G$ is a spanning subgraph $F$ of $G$ with $d_F(v)\in\{1,3,5,\ldots,b-1,b\}$ for any $v\in V(G)$, where $d_F(v)$ is the degree of $v$ in $F$. Lu and Wang provided a sufficient condition with respect to the number of odd components in $G-S$ for a connected graph $G$ of even order to contain an $H_b$-factor, where $S$ is a vertex subset of $G$ [H. Lu, D. Wang, On Cui-Kano's characterization problem on graph factors, J. Graph Theory 74 (2013) 335--343]. In this paper, motivated by Lu and Wang's above result, we establish an upper bound on the distance spectral radius $μ(G)$ of a connected graph $G$ to guarantee that $G$ contains an $H_b$-factor.
Tiling of Hyperbolic Surface by a Single Tile
Tilings of a surface of negative Euler characteristic by n-gons with n\ge 7 is a finite problem. One extreme of the finite problem is single tile tilings. We develop the algorithm for finding all the single tile tilings and present the results for surfaces of small genus.
Some results on the k-strong parity property in a graph
A graph $G$ has the $k$-strong parity property if for any $X\subseteq V(G)$ with $|X|$ even, $G$ contains a spanning subgraph $F$ with $d_F(u)\equiv1$ (mod 2) for each $u\in X$ and $d_F(v)\in\{k,k+2,k+4,\ldots\}$ for each $v\in V(G)\setminus X$, where $k\geq2$ is an even integer. Kano and Matsumura proposed a characterization for a graph with the $k$-strong parity property (M. Kano, H. Matsumura, Odd-even factors of graphs, Graphs Combin. 41 (2025) 55). In this paper, we first give a size condition for a graph to have the $k$-strong parity property. Then we establish a signless Laplacian spectral radius condition to guarantee that a graph has the $k$-strong parity property.
Sufficient conditions for a graph with minimum degree to have a component factor
Let $\mathcal{T}_{\frac{k}{r}}$ denote the set of trees $T$ such that $i(T-S)\leq\frac{k}{r}|S|$ for any $S\subset V(T)$ and for any $e\in E(T)$ there exists a set $S^{*}\subset V(T)$ with $i((T-e)-S^{*})>\frac{k}{r}|S^{*}|$, where $r<k$ are two positive integers. A $\{C_{2i+1},T:1\leq i<\frac{r}{k-r},T\in\mathcal{T}_{\frac{k}{r}}\}$-factor of a graph $G$ is a spanning subgraph of $G$, in which every component is isomorphic to an element in $\{C_{2i+1},T:1\leq i<\frac{r}{k-r},T\in\mathcal{T}_{\frac{k}{r}}\}$. Let $A(G)$ and $Q(G)$ denote the adjacency matrix and the signless Laplacian matrix of $G$, respectively. The adjacency spectral radius and the signless Laplacian spectral radius of $G$, denoted by $ρ(G)$ and $q(G)$, are the largest eigenvalues of $A(G)$ and $Q(G)$, respectively. In this paper, we study the connections between the spectral radius and the existence of a $\{C_{2i+1},T:1\leq i<\frac{r}{k-r},T\in\mathcal{T}_{\frac{k}{r}}\}$-factor in a graph. We first establish a tight sufficient condition involving the adjacency spectral radius to guarantee the existence of a $\{C_{2i+1},T:1\leq i<\frac{r}{k-r},T\in\mathcal{T}_{\frac{k}{r}}\}$-factor in a graph. Then we propose a tight signless Laplacian spectral radius condition for the existence of a $\{C_{2i+1},T:1\leq i<\frac{r}{k-r},T\in\mathcal{T}_{\frac{k}{r}}\}$-factor in a graph.
The subdivision of hypergraphs
Hypergraphs, as a generalization of simplicial complexes, have long been a subject of interest in their geometric interpretation. The subdivision of simplicial complexes can, to some extent, provide insights into the geometry of simplicial complexes. In this paper, we introduce the concept of the subdivision of hypergraphs. Notably, the subdivision of hypergraphs can be reduced to the subdivision of simplicial complexes. Moreover, we prove that the subdivision of hypergraphs has the topological invariance with respect to the embedded homology.
A sufficient condition for the existence of fractional $(g,f,n)$-critical covered graphs
In data transmission networks, the availability of data transmission is equivalent to the existence of the fractional factor of the corresponding graph which is generated by the network. Research on the existence of fractional factors under specific network structures can help scientists design and construct networks with high data transmission rates. A graph $G$ is called a fractional $(g,f)$-covered graph if for any $e\in E(G)$, $G$ admits a fractional $(g,f)$-factor covering $e$. A graph $G$ is called a fractional $(g,f,n)$-critical covered graph if after removing any $n$ vertices of $G$, the resulting graph of $G$ is a fractional $(g,f)$-covered graph. In this paper, we verify that if a graph $G$ of order $p$ satisfies $p\geq\frac{(a+b-1)(a+b-2)+(a+d)n+1}{a+d}$, $δ(G)\geq\frac{(b-d-1)p+(a+d)n+a+b+1}{a+b-1}$ and $δ(G)>\frac{(b-d-2)p+2α(G)+(a+d)n+1}{a+b-2}$, then $G$ is a fractional $(g,f,n)$-critical covered graph, where $g,f:V(G)\rightarrow Z^{+}$ be two functions such that $a\leq g(x)\leq f(x)-d\leq b-d$ for all $x\in V(G)$, which is a generalization of Zhou's previous result [S. Zhou, Some new sufficient conditions for graphs to have fractional $k$-factors, International Journal of Computer Mathematics 88(3)(2011)484--490].
On The Discrete Morse Functions for Hypergraphs
A hypergraph can be obtained from a simplicial complex by deleting some non-maximal simplices. In this paper, we study the embedded homology as well as the homology of the (lower-)associated simplicial complexes for hypergraphs. We generalize the discrete Morse functions on simplicial complexes. We study the discrete Morse functions on hypergraphs as well as the discrete Morse functions on the (lower-)associated simplicial complexes of the hypergraphs.

In this paper, we generalize the embedded homology groups of hypergraphs initially given in [S. Bressan, J. Li, S. Ren, and J. Wu, The embedded homology of hypergraphs and applications, Asian J. Math. 23(3)(2019) 479-500] and study the relative embedded homology groups of hypergraph pairs. We prove some long exact sequences as well as a Mayer-Vietoris sequence for the relative embedded homology groups of hypergraph pairs. Moreover, we briefly discuss the two-dimensional persistence for the relative embedded homology groups of hypergraph pairs.
Cohomology ring of manifold arrangements
We study the cohomology ring of the complement $\mathcal{M}(\mathcal{A})$ of a manifold arrangement $\mathcal{A}$ in a smooth manifold $M$ without boundary. We first give the concept of monoidal cosheaf on a locally geometric poset $\mathfrak{L}$, and then define the generalized Orlik--Solomon algebra $A^*(\mathfrak{L}, \mathcal{C})$ over a commutative ring with unit, which is built by the classical Orlik--Solomon algebra and a monoidal cosheaf $\mathcal{C}$ as coefficients. Furthermore, we construct a monoidal cosheaf $\hat{\mathcal{C}}(\mathcal{A})$ associated with $\mathcal{A}$, so that the generalized Orlik--Solomon algebra $A^*(\mathfrak{L}, \hat{\mathcal{C}}(\mathcal{A}))$ becomes a double complex with suitable multiplication structure and the associated total complex $Tot(A^*(\mathfrak{L}, \hat{\mathcal{C}}(\mathcal{A})))$ is a differential algebra. Our main result is that $H^*(Tot(A^*(\mathfrak{L}, \hat{\mathcal{C}}(\mathcal{A}))))$ is isomorphic to $H^*(\mathcal{M}(\mathcal{A}))$ as algebras. Our argument is of topological with the use of a spectral sequence induced by a geometric filtration associated with $\mathcal{A}$. In particular, we also discuss the mixed Hodge complex structure on our model if $M$ and all elements in $\mathcal{A}$ are complex smooth varieties, and show that it induces the canonical mixed Hodge structure of $\mathcal{M}(\mathcal{A})$. As an application, we calculate the cohomology of chromatic configuration spaces, which agrees with many known results in some special cases. In addition, some explicit formulas with respect to Poincaré polynomial and chromatic polynomial are also given.
Hodge Decompositions for Weighted Hypergraphs
Weighted hypergraphs are generalizations of weighted simplicial complexes. In recent years, weighted Laplacians of weighted simplicial complexes have been studied. In 2016, as a generalization of the homology of simplicial complexes, the embedded homology of hypergraphs was constructed. In this paper, we generalize the weighted Laplacians of weighted simplicial complexes to weighted hypergraphs. We study the relations between the weighted Laplacians and the weighted embedded homology of weighted hypergraphs. We generalize the Hodge decompositions of weighted simplicial complexes to weighted hypergraphs. Moreover, as a complement for the Hodge decompositions, we give some results for the nonzero eigenvalues of the weighted Laplacians of weighted hypergraphs.

Let $L$ be a simplicial complex. In this paper, we study random sub-hypergraphs and random sub-complexes of $L$. By considering the minimal complex that a sub-hypergraph can be embedded in and the maximal complex that can be embedded in a sub-hypergraph, we define some maps on the space of probability functions on sub-hypergraphs of $L$. We study the compositions of these maps as well as their actions on the space of probability functions.

In this paper we show that for m>n the set of cobordism classes of maps from m-sphere to n-sphere is trivial. The determination of the cobordism homotopy groups of spheres admits applications to the covers for spheres.
