On arc-transitive inner-automorphic Cayley graphs on dihedral groups
A Cayley graph $\Cay(G,S)$ is said to be inner-automorphic if $S$ is a union of conjugacy classes of a group $G$, and arc-transitive if its full automorphism group acts transitively on the set of arcs. In this paper, we characterize four well-known families of arc-transitive graphs that arise as connected inner-automorphic Cayley graphs on dihedral groups, and we provide a necessary condition for other connected arc-transitive Cayley graphs on dihedral groups to be inner-automorphic. We further construct an infinite family of examples satisfying this condition, thereby demonstrating the existence of such graphs. Finally, we complete the classification of all 2-distance-transitive connected inner-automorphic Cayley graphs on dihedral groups.
Enumerating Cayley digraphs on dihedral groups
This paper investigates the enumeration of Cayley digraphs, focusing on counting Cayley digraphs on dihedral groups up to CI-isomorphism. By leveraging the Cauchy-Frobenius Lemma and properties of automorphisms, we derive an explicit formula for the number of non-isomorphic Cayley digraphs on dihedral groups with DCI-property, particularly for the group $\mathrm{D}_{6p}$ with $p>3$ a prime. The enumeration involves detailed analysis of cycle numbers of automorphisms and their actions on the group elements, culminating in a precise count of non-isomorphic digraphs.
Isomorphisms of bi-Cayley graphs on generalized quaternion groups
Let $G$ be a finite group and $S$ be a subset of $G$. The bi-Cayley graph $\mathrm{BCay}(G,S)$ is the graph with vertex set $G\times \{0,1\}$ and edge set $\{\{(x,0),(sx,1)\}\mid x\in G,s\in S\}$. A bi-Cayley graph $\mathrm{BCay}(G,S)$ is called a BCI-graph if for every $T\subseteq G$, the isomorphism $\mathrm{BCay}(G,S)\cong \mathrm{BCay}(G,T)$ implies that $T=gS^α$ for some $g\in G$ and $α\in \mathrm{Aut}(G)$. We say a group $G$ an $m$-BCI-group if every bi-Cayley graphs of $G$ with valency at most $m$ is a BCI-graph. In this paper, we show that for $m\in\{2,3\}$, the generalized quaternion group of order $4n$ with $n\geq 2$ is an $m$-BCI-group if and only if it is an $m$-DCI-group if and only if it is an $m$-CI-group if and only if $n$ is odd or $n=2$.
On Isomorphisms of Tetravalent Cayley Digraphs over Dihedral Groups
Let $m$ be a positive integer. A group $G$ is said to be an $m$-DCI-group or an $m$-CI-group if $G$ has the $k$-DCI property or $k$-CI property for all positive integers $k$ at most $m$, respectively. Let $G$ be a dihedral group of order $2n$ with $n\geq 3$. Qu and Yu proved that $G$ is an $m$-DCI-group or $m$-CI-group, for every $m\in \{1,2,3\}$, if and only if $n$ is odd. In this paper, it is shown that $G$ is a $4$-DCI-group if and only if $n$ is odd and not divisible by $9$, and $G$ is a $4$-CI-group if and only if $n$ is odd.
Generalized quaternion groups with the m-DCI property
A Cayley digraph Cay(G,S) of a finite group $G$ with respect to a subset $S$ of $G$ is said to be a CI-digraph if for every Cayley digraph Cay(G,T) isomorphic to Cay(G,S), there exists an automorphism $σ$ of $G$ such that $S^σ=T$. A finite group $G$ is said to have the $m$-DCI property for some positive integer $m$ if all $m$-valent Cayley digraphs of $G$ are CI-digraphs, and is said to be a DCI-group if $G$ has the $m$-DCI property for all $1\leq m\leq |G|$. Let $\mathrm{Q}_{4n}$ be a generalized quaternion group of order $4n$ with an integer $n\geq 3$, and let $\mathrm{Q}_{4n}$ have the $m$-DCI property for some $1 \leq m\leq 2n-1$. It is shown in this paper that $n$ is odd, and $n$ is not divisible by $p^2$ for any prime $p\leq m-1$. Furthermore, if $n\geq 3$ is a power of a prime $p$, then $\mathrm{Q}_{4n}$ has the $m$-DCI property if and only if $p$ is odd, and either $n=p$ or $1\leq m\leq p$.

A Cayley digraph $\rm{Cay}(G,S)$ of a group $G$ with respect to a subset $S$ of $G$ is called a CI-digraph if for any Cayley digraph $\rm{Cay}(G,T)$ isomorphic to $\rm{Cay}(G,S)$, there is an $α\in \rm{Aut}(G)$ such that $S^α=T$. For a positive integer $m$, $G$ is said to have the $m$-DCI property if all Cayley digraphs of $G$ with out-valency $m$ are CI-digraphs. Li [The Cyclic groups with the $m$-DCI Property, European J. Combin. 18 (1997) 655-665] characterized cyclic groups with the $m$-DCI property, and in this paper, we characterize dihedral groups with the $m$-DCI property. For a dihedral group $\mathrm{D}_{2n}$ of order $2n$, assume that $\mathrm{D}_{2n}$ has the $m$-DCI property for some $1 \leq m\leq n-1$. Then it is shown that $n$ is odd, and if further $p+1\leq m\leq n-1$ for an odd prime divisor $p$ of $n$, then $p^2\nmid n$. Furthermore, if $n$ is a power of a prime $q$, then $\mathrm{D}_{2n}$ has the $m$-DCI property if and only if either $n=q$, or $q$ is odd and $1\leq m\leq q$.

A Cayley (di)graph $Cay(G,S)$ of a group $G$ with respect to $S$ is said to be normal if the right regular representation of $G$ is normal in the automorphism group of $Cay(G,S)$, and is called a CI-(di)graph if there is $α\in Aut(G)$ such that $S^α=T$, whenever $Cay(G,S)\cong Cay(G,T)$ for a Cayley (di)graph $Cay(G,T)$. A finite group $G$ is called a DCI-group or a NDCI-group if all Cayley digraphs or normal Cayley digraphs of $G$ are CI-digraphs, and is called a CI-group or a NCI-group if all Cayley graphs or normal Cayley graphs of $G$ are CI-graphs, respectively.
Motivated by a conjecture proposed by Ádám in 1967, CI-groups and DCI-groups have been actively studied during the last fifty years by many researchers in algebraic graph theory. It takes about thirty years to obtain the classification of cyclic CI-groups and DCI-groups, and recently, the first two authors, among others, classified cyclic NCI-groups and NDCI-groups. Even though there are many partial results on dihedral CI-groups and DCI-groups, their classification is still elusive. In this paper, we prove that a dihedral group of order $2n$ is a NCI-group or a NDCI-group if and only if $n=2,4$ or $n$ is odd. As a direct consequence, we have that if a dihedral group $D_{2n}$ of order $2n$ is a DCI-group then $n=2$ or $n$ is odd-square-free, and that if $D_{2n}$ is a CI-group then $n=2,9$ or $n$ is odd-square-free, throwing some new light on classification of dihedral CI-groups and DCI-groups.

A Cayley (di)graph $Cay(G,S)$ of a group $G$ with respect to a subset $S$ of $G$ is called normal if the right regular representation of $G$ is a normal subgroup in the full automorphism group of $Cay(G,S)$, and is called a CI-(di)graph if for every $T\subseteq G$, $Cay(G,S)\cong Cay(G,T)$ implies that there is $σ\in Aut(G)$ such that $S^σ=T$. We call a group $G$ a NDCI-group if all normal Cayley digraphs of $G$ are CI-digraphs, and a NCI-group if all normal Cayley graphs of $G$ are CI-graphs, respectively. In this paper, we prove that a cyclic group of order $n$ is a NDCI-group if and only if $8\nmid n$, and is a NCI-group if and only if either $n=8$ or $8\nmid n$.
