The generalized $k$-connectivity of a graph $G$, denoted by $κ_k(G)$, is the minimum number of internally edge disjoint $S$-trees for any $S\subseteq V(G)$ and $|S|=k$. The generalized $k$-connectivity is a natural extension of the classical connectivity and plays a key role in applications related to the modern interconnection networks. The burnt pancake graph $BP_n$ and the godan graph $EA_n$ are two kinds of Cayley graphs which posses many desirable properties. In this paper, we investigate the generalized 3-connectivity of $BP_n$ and $EA_n$. We show that $κ_3(BP_n)=n-1$ and $κ_3(EA_n)=n-1$.

The generalized $k$-connectivity of a graph $G$, denoted by $κ_k(G)$, is the minimum number of internally edge disjoint $S$-trees for any $S\subseteq V(G)$ with $|S|=k$. The generalized $k$-connectivity is a natural extension of the classical connectivity and plays a key role in applications related to the modern interconnection networks. In this paper, we firstly introduce a family of regular networks $H_n$ that can be obtained from several subgraphs $G_n^1, G_n^2, \cdots, G_n^{t_n}$ by adding a matching, where each subgraph $G_n^i$ is isomorphic to a particular graph $G_n$ ($1\le i\le t_n$). Then we determine the generalized 3-connectivity of $H_n$. As applications of the main result, the generalized 3-connectivity of some two-level interconnection networks, such as the hierarchical star graph $HS_n$, the hierarchical cubic network $HCN_n$ and the hierarchical folded hypercube $HFQ_n$, are determined directly.
Laplacian pretty good edge state transfer in paths
In this paper, we first give a necessary and sufficient condition for a graph to have Laplacian pretty good pair state transfer. As an application of such result, we give a complete characterization of Laplacian pretty good edge state transfer in paths.

The $kK_{r+1}$ is the union of $k$ disjoint copies of $(r+1)$-clique. Moon [Canad. J. Math. 20 (1968) 95--102] and Simonovits [Theory of Graphs (Proc. colloq., Tihany, 1996)] independently showed that if $n$ is sufficiently large, then $K_{k-1}\vee T_{n-k+1,r}$ is the unique extremal graph for $kK_{r+1}$. In this paper, we consider the graph which has the maximum spectral radius among all graphs without $k$ disjoint cliques. We prove that if $G$ attains the maximum spectral radius over all $n$-vertex $kK_{r+1}$-free graphs for sufficiently large $n$, then $G$ is isomorphic to $K_{k-1}\vee T_{n-k+1,r}$.

In this paper, we investigate the existence of fractional revival on Cayley graphs over finite abelian groups. We give a necessary and sufficient condition for Cayley graphs over finite abelian groups to have fractional revival. As applications, the existence of fractional revival on circulant graphs and cubelike graphs are characterized.

For a simple graph $F$, let $\mathrm{Ex}(n, F)$ and $\mathrm{Ex_{sp}}(n,F)$ denote the set of graphs with the maximum number of edges and the set of graphs with the maximum spectral radius in an $n$-vertex graph without any copy of the graph $F$, respectively. The Turán graph $T_{n,r}$ is the complete $r$-partite graph on $n$ vertices where its part sizes are as equal as possible. Cioabă, Desai and Tait [The spectral radius of graphs with no odd wheels, European J. Combin., 99 (2022) 103420] posed the following conjecture: Let $F$ be any graph such that the graphs in $\mathrm{Ex}(n,F)$ are Turán graphs plus $O(1)$ edges. Then $\mathrm{Ex_{sp}}(n,F)\subset \mathrm{Ex}(n,F)$ for sufficiently large $n$. In this paper we consider the graph $F$ such that the graphs in $\mathrm{Ex}(n, F)$ are obtained from $T_{n,r}$ by adding $O(1)$ edges, and prove that if $G$ has the maximum spectral radius among all $n$-vertex graphs not containing $F$, then $G$ is a member of $\mathrm{Ex}(n, F)$ for $n$ large enough. Then Cioabă, Desai and Tait's conjecture is completely solved.

In this paper, we study the existence of perfect state transfer and pretty good state transfer in vertex complemented coronas. We prove that perfect state transfer in vertex complemented coronas is extremely rare. In contrast, we give sufficient conditions for vertex complemented coronas to have pretty good state transfer.
Constructing graphs having Laplacian pair state transfer by an edge perturbation
In this paper, we give some sufficient conditions for graphs with an edge perturbation between twin vertices to have Laplacian perfect pair state transfer as well as Laplacian pretty good pair state transfer. By those sufficient conditions, we also construct many new graphs having Laplacian perfect pair state transfer as well as Laplacian pretty good pair state transfer.

The $(k,r)$-fan is the graph consisting of $k$ copies of the complete graph $K_r$ which intersect in a single vertex, and is denoted by $F_{k,r}$. Erdős, Füredi, Gould and Gunderson [J. Combin. Theory Ser. B 64 (1995) 89--100] determined the maximum number of edges in an $n$-vertex graph that does not contain $F_{k,3}$ as a subgraph. Furthermore, Chen, Gould, Pfender and Wei [J. Combin. Theory Ser. B 89 (2003) 159--171] proved the analogous result on $F_{k,r}$ for the general case $r\ge 3$.In this paper, we show that for sufficiently large $n$, the graphs of order $n$ that contain no copy of $F_{k,r}$ and attain the maximum spectral radius are also edge-extremal. That is, such graphs must have $\mathrm{ex}(n, F_{k,r})$ edges.
A Hoffman's Theorem: a revisit with new discovery
In 1972, A. J. Hoffman proved his celebrated theorem concerning the limit points of spectral radii of non-negative symmetric integral matrices less than $\sqrt{2+\sqrt{5}}$. In this paper, after giving a new version of Hoffman's theorem, we get two generalized versions of it applicable to non-negative symmetric matrices with fractional elements. As a corollary, we obtain another alternative version about the limit points of spectral radii of (signless) Laplacian matrices of graphs less than $2+ {\tiny \frac{{\;}1{\;}}{3}\left((54 - 6\sqrt{33})^{\frac{{\;}1{\;}}{3}} + (54 + 6\sqrt{33})^{\frac{{\;} 1{\;}}{3}} \right)}$. We also discuss how our approach could be fruitfully employed to investigate equiangular lines.
The Hoffman program of graphs: old and new
The Hoffman program with respect to any real or complex square matrix $M$ associated to a graph $G$ stems from A. J. Hoffman's pioneering work on the limit points for the spectral radius of adjacency matrices of graphs less than $\sqrt{2+\sqrt{5}}$. The program consists of two aspects: finding all the possible limit points of $M$-spectral radii of graphs and detecting all the connected graphs whose $M$-spectral radius does not exceed a fixed limit point. In this paper, we summarize the results on this topic concerning several graph matrices, including the adjacency, the Laplacian, the signless Laplacian, the Hermitian adjacency and skew-adjacency matrix of graphs. As well, the tensors of hypergraphs are discussed. Moreover, we obtain new results about the Hoffman program with relation to the $A_α$-matrix. Some further problems on this topic are also proposed.

An edge-colored graph $G$ is conflict-free connected if any two of its vertices are connected by a path, which contains a color used on exactly one of its edges. The conflict-free connection number of a connected graph $G$, denoted by $cfc(G)$, is defined as the minimum number of colors that are required in order to make $G$ conflict-free connected. In this paper, we investigate the relation between the conflict-free connection number and the independence number of a graph. We firstly show that $cfc(G)\le α(G)$ for any connected graph $G$, and an example is given showing that the bound is sharp. With this result, we prove that if $T$ is a tree with $Δ(T)\ge \frac{α(T)+2}{2}$, then $cfc(T)=Δ(T)$.
