Periodic ASEP and random walks on affine Hecke Algebra
We study the large time behavior of a periodic ASEP with fixed period started from the step initial condition. We establish the limit shape theorem and the asymptotic distribution of a single second class particle. Our single-species results extend the previous results of Lam and Ayyer-Linusson about periodic TASEP to the ASEP case. These results can also be interpreted as describing the limit behavior of a random walk on affine Hecke algebra.
Minimal Inversions in Integer Matrices of Fixed RSK Shape
The Robinson-Schensted-Knuth (RSK) algorithm maps an integer matrix to a pair of semi-standard Young tableaux (SSYTs) whose underlying shape has the same integer partition. We study the set of matrices associated with a given partition $λ$ vis-a-vis the number of inversions of the matrix. In the case where the integer matrix is a permutation matrix, the resulting tableaux are standard Young tableaux or SYTs. Han (EJC, 2005) combinatorially studied the set of permutations that map to SYTs of shape $λ$ under the RSK algorithm and counted the permutations with the minimum number of inversions in that set, as well as formulated the minimal number of inversions. Han's work can be extended to a case where the matrix is a general integer matrix and the tableaux are semi-standard Young tableaux. We have conjectured a formula for the minimal number of inversions in the set of matrices with a fixed shape $λ$. We further provide a conjecture for the characterisation of the minimal generalised matrices.

Ayyer and Linusson studied correlations in the multispecies TASEP on a ring (Trans AMS, 2017) using a combinatorial analysis of the multiline queues construction defined by Ferrari and Martin (AOP, 2008). It is natural to explore whether an analogous application of appropriate multiline queues could give similar results for the partially asymmetric case. In this paper, we solve this problem of correlations of adjacent particles on the first two sites in the multispecies PASEP on a finite ring. We use the multiline processes defined by Martin (EJP, 2020), the dynamics of which also depend on the asymmetry parameter $q$, to compute the correlations.

In this paper, we prove a conjecture by Aas and Linusson on the two-point correlations of adjacent particles in a continuous multispecies TASEP on a ring (AIHPD, 2018). We use the theory of multiline queues as devised by Ferrari and Martin (AOP, 2008) to interpret the conjectures in terms of placements of numbers in triangular arrays. Further, we use projections to calculate correlations in the continuous multispecies TASEP using a distribution on these placements.
