On the generation of the symmetric group by index relations of three prefix reversals
The cubic pancake graphs are Cayley graphs over the symmetric group Sn generated by three prefix reversals. There is the folllowing open problem: characterize all the sets of three prefix reversals that generate Sn. Blanco and Golubyatnikov give a complete solution of the problem when any of the two smallest or the two largest lengths but n are included in a triple of prefix reversals. According to their conjectures, we give some conditions implying a triple of prefix reversals does not generate Sn. Moreover, Using the symmetric groups that can already be generated by three prefix reversals, we can derive some recurrence conditions.

Decompositions of graphs with degree constraints relative to prescribed subgraphs
Given a finite simple undirected graph $G$, let $T_1(G)$ denote the subset of vertices of $G$ such that every vertex of $T_1(G)$ belongs to at least one subgraph isomorphic to a graph obtained by connecting a single vertex to two vertices of $K_4 - e$. Define $T_0(G) = V(G) \setminus T_1(G)$, and let $a,b \colon V(G) \longrightarrow \mathbb{Z}_{\ge 0}$ be arbitrary functions. In this paper, we prove that if $d_G(u) \ge a(u) + b(u) + h(u)$, where $h(u) \in \{0,1\}$ for $u \in T_h(G)$, then there exists a partition $(S, T)$ of $V(G)$ such that $d_{S}(u) \ge a(u)$ for every $u \in S$ and $d_{T}(u) \ge b(u)$ for every $u \in T$. This result extends the theorem of Stiebitz~[\textit{J. Graph Theory}, 23 (1996), 321--324]. Moreover, we establish an analogous result in the case where $T_1(G)$ consists of vertices belonging to at least one $K_{2,3}$, thereby extending the findings of Hou et al.~[\textit{Discrete Math.}, 341 (2018), 3288--3295].

Unified spectral hamiltonian results of balanced bipartite graphs and complementary graphs
Published • View Publication • BIB
There have been researches on sufficient spectral conditions for Hamiltonian properties and path-coverable properties of graphs. Utilizing the Bondy-Chvátal closure, we provide a unified approach to study sufficient graph eigenvalue conditions for these properties and sharpen former spectral results in [{\em Linear Algebra Appl.}, 432 (2010), 566-570], [{\em Linear Algebra Appl.}, 432 (2010), 2170-2173], [{\em Appl. Mech. Mater.}, 336-338 (2013), 2329-2334], [{\em Linear Algebra Appl.}, 467 (2015), 254-266], [{\em Linear Multilinear Algebra}, 64 (2016), 2252-2269], and [{\em J. Comb.
