Topological properties of generalized Markoff mod $p$ graphs
The generalized Markoff mod $p$ graph is defined via the equation $x^2+y^2+z^2=xyz+κ$ over the finite field $\mathbb{F}_p$ of prime order $p$. In this paper, we investigate the topological properties of the graph such as non-planarity, surface embeddability, and the existence of short cycles. Our approach is based on a systematic construction of $K_{3,3}$-subdivisions, integrating techniques from graph theory, computer algebra, and number theory.
Quadratic relations for ninth variations of Schur functions and application to Schur multiple zeta functions
Macdonald's ninth variation of Schur functions is a broad generalization of the classical Schur function and its variants, defined via the Jacobi-Trudi determinant formula. In this paper, we establish various algebraic relations for $S^{(r)}_{λ/μ}(X)$, a class of the ninth variation introduced by Nakagawa, Noumi, Shirakawa, and Yamada, by combining the Jacobi-Trudi formula with determinant formulas such as the Desnanot-Jacobi adjoint matrix theorem and the Plücker relations, which generalize the corresponding relations for Schur functions. As an application, we investigate algebraic relations for "diagonally constant" Schur multiple zeta functions and examine their specific special values when the shape is rectangular.
Sum formulas for Schur multiple zeta values

In this paper, we study sum formulas for Schur multiple zeta values and give a generalization of the sum formulas for multiple zeta(-star) values. We show that for ribbons of certain types, the sum over all admissible Young tableaux of this shape evaluates to a rational multiple of the Riemann zeta value. For arbitrary ribbons with $n$ corners, we show that these can be always expressed in terms of multiple zeta values of depth $\leq n$. In particular, when $n=2$, we give explicit, what we call, bounded type sum formulas for these ribbons. Finally, we show how to evaluate the sum over all admissible Young tableaux with exactly one corner and also prove bounded type sum formulas for them. This will also lead to relations among sums of Schur multiple zeta values over all admissible Young tableaux of different shapes.

We give explicit formulas for the recently introduced Schur multiple zeta values, which generalize multiple zeta(-star) values and which assign to a Young tableaux a real number. In this note we consider Young tableaux of various shapes, filled with alternating entries like a Checkerboard. In particular we obtain new sum representation for odd single zeta values in terms of these Schur multiple zeta values. As a special case we show that some Schur multiple zeta values of Checkerboard style, filled with 1 and 3, are given by determinants of matrices with odd single zeta values as entries.
On Schur multiple zeta functions: A combinatoric generalization of multiple zeta functions

We introduce Schur multiple zeta functions which interpolate both the multiple zeta and multiple zeta-star functions of the Euler-Zagier type combinatorially. We first study their basic properties including a region of absolute convergence and the case where all variables are the same. Then, under an assumption on variables, some determinant formulas coming from theory of Schur functions such as the Jacobi-Trudi, Giambelli and dual Cauchy formula are established with the help of Macdonald's ninth variation of Schur functions. Moreover, we investigate the quasi-symmetric functions corresponding to the Schur multiple zeta functions. We obtain the similar results as above for them and, furthermore, describe the images of them by the antipode of the Hopf algebra of quasi-symmetric functions explicitly. Finally, we establish iterated integral representations of the Schur multiple zeta values of ribbon type, which yield a duality for them in some cases.

The discrete tori are graph analogues of the real tori, which are defined by the Cayley graphs of a finite product of finite cyclic groups. In this paper, using the theory of the heat kernel on the discrete tori established by Chinta, Jorgenson and Karlsson, we derive an explicit prime geodesic theorem for the discrete tori, which is not an asymptotic formula. To describe the formula, we need generalizations of the classical Jacobi polynomials, which are defined by the Lauricella multivariable hypergeometric function of type C.

In this paper, we determine the bound of the valency of Cayley graphs of Frobenius groups with respect to normal Cayley subsets which guarantees to be Ramanujan. We see that if the ratio between the orders of the Frobenius kernel and complement is not so small, then this bound coincides with the trivial one coming from the trivial estimate of the largest non-trivial eigenvalue of the graphs. Moreover, in the cases of the dihedral groups of order twice odd primes, which are special cases of the Frobenius groups, we determine the same bound for the Cayley graphs of the groups with respect to not only normal but also all Cayley subsets. As is the case of abelian groups which we have treated in the previous papers, such a bound is equal to the trivial one in the above sense or, as exceptional cases, exceeds one from it. We then clarify that the latter occurs if and only if the corresponding prime is represented by a quadratic polynomial in a finite family.
Ramanujan circulant graphs and the conjecture of Hardy-Littlewood and Bateman-Horn
In this paper, we determine the bound of the valency of the odd circulant graph which guarantees to be a Ramanujan graph for each fixed number of vertices. In almost of the cases, the bound coincides with the trivial bound, which comes from the trivial estimate of the largest non-trivial eigenvalue of the circulant graph. As exceptional cases, the bound in fact exceeds the trivial one by two. We then prove that such exceptionals occur only in the cases where the number of vertices has at most two prime factors and is represented by a quadratic polynomial in a finite family and, moreover, under the conjecture of Hardy-Littlewood and Bateman-Horn, exist infinitely many.
Evaluations of multiple Dirichlet $L$-values via symmetric functions

We explicitly evaluate a special type of multiple Dirichlet $L$-values at positive integers in two different ways: One approach involves using symmetric functions, while the other involves using a generating function of the values. Equating these two expressions, we derive several summation formulae involving the Bernoulli and Euler numbers. Moreover, values at non-positive integers, called central limit values, are also studied.
