In this paper, we provide few results on the group distance magic labeling of lexicographic product and direct product of two graphs. We also prove some necessary conditions for a graph to be group distance magic and provide a characterization for a tree to be group distance magic.
Distance Magic Index One Graphs
In this paper, we determine the distance magic index of lexicograph product of a regular graph with the complement of complete graph, disjoint union of m copies of complete multi- partite graph and disjoint union of m copies of lexicographic product of cycle with complement of complete graph. In addition to that, we also prove some necessary conditions for a regular graph to be of distance magic index one.
Distance magic labelings of product graphs
A graph $G$ is said to be distance magic if there exists a bijection $f:V\rightarrow \{1,2, \ldots , v\}$ and a constant {\sf k} such that for any vertex $x$, $\sum_{y\in N(x)} f(y) ={\sf k}$, where $N_(x)$ is the set of all neighbours of $x$.
In this paper we shall study distance magic labelings of graphs obtained from four graph products: cartesian, strong, lexicographic, and cronecker. We shall utilise magic rectangle sets and magic column rectangles to construct the labelings.

Hefetz, Mütze, and Schwartz conjectured that every connected undirected graph admits an antimagic orientation. In this paper we support the analogous question for distance magic labeling. Let $Γ$ be an Abelian group of order $n$. A \textit{directed $Γ$-distance magic labeling} of an oriented graph $\vec{G} = (V,A)$ of order $n$ is a bijection $\vec{l}:V \rightarrow Γ$ with the property that there is a \textit{magic constant} $μ\in Γ$ such that for every $x \in V(G)$ $ w(x) = \sum_{y \in N^{+}(x)}\vec{l}(y) - \sum_{y \in N^{-}(x)} \vec{l}(y) = μ. $ In this paper we provide an infinite family of odd regular graphs possessing an orientable $\mathbb{Z}_{n}$-distance magic labeling. Our results refer to lexicographic product of graphs. We also present a family of odd regular graphs that are not orientable $\mathbb{Z}_{n}$-distance magic.

We will say that an Abelian group $Γ$ of order $n$ has the $m$-\emph{zero-sum-partition property} ($m$-\textit{ZSP-property}) if $m$ divides $n$, $m\geq 2$ and there is a partition of $Γ$ into pairwise disjoint subsets $A_1, A_2,\ldots , A_t$, such that $|A_i| = m$ and $\sum_{a\in A_i}a = g_0$ for $1 \leq i \leq t$, where $g_0$ is the identity element of $Γ$.
In this paper we study the $m$-ZSP property of $Γ$. We show that $Γ$ has $m$-ZSP if and only if $|Γ|$ is odd or $m\geq 3$ and $Γ$ has more than one involution. We will apply the results to the study of group distance magic graphs as well as to generalized Kotzig arrays.

Let $G=(V,E)$ be a graph of order $n$. A closed distance magic labeling of $G$ is a bijection $\ell \colon V(G)\rightarrow \{1,\ldots ,n\}$ for which there exists a positive integer $k$ such that $\sum_{x\in N[v]}\ell (x)=k$ for all $v\in V $, where $N[v]$ is the closed neighborhood of $v$. We consider the closed distance magic graphs in the algebraic context. In particular we analyze the relations between the closed distance magic labelings and the spectra of graphs. These results are then applied to the strong product of graphs with complete graph or cycle and to the circulant graphs. We end with a number theoretic problem whose solution results in another family of closed distance magic graphs somewhat related to the strong product.

Let $G$ be a complete $k$-partite simple undirected graph with parts of sizes $p_1\le p_2...\le p_k$. Let $P_j=\sum_{i=1}^jp_i$ for $j=1,...,k$. It is conjectured that $G$ has distance magic labeling if and only if $\sum_{i=1}^{P_j} (n-i+1)\ge j{{n+1}\choose{2}}/k$ for all $j=1,...,k$. The conjecture is proved for $k=4$, extending earlier results for $k=2,3$.
Magic labelings of distance at most 2
For an arbitrary set of distances $D\subseteq \{0,1, \ldots, d\}$, a graph $G$ is said to be $D$-distance magic if there exists a bijection $f:V\rightarrow \{1,2, \ldots , v\}$ and a constant {\sf k} such that for any vertex $x$, $\sum_{y\in N_D(x)} f(y) ={\sf k}$, where $N_D(x) = \{y \in V| d(x,y) \in D\}$.
In this paper we study some necessary or sufficient conditions for the existence of $D$-distance magic graphs, some of which are generalization of conditions for the existence of $\{1\}$-distance magic graphs. More specifically, we study $D$-distance magic labelings for cycles and $D$-distance magic graphs for $D\subseteq\{0,1,2\}$.
On Distance Antimagic Graphs
For an arbitrary set of distances $D\subseteq \{0,1, \ldots, diam(G)\}$, a $D$-weight of a vertex $x$ in a graph $G$ under a vertex labeling $f:V\rightarrow \{1,2, \ldots , v\}$ is defined as $w_D(x)=\sum_{y\in N_D(x)} f(y)$, where $N_D(x) = \{y \in V| d(x,y) \in D\}$. A graph $G$ is said to be $D$-distance magic if all vertices has the same $D$-vertex-weight, it is said to be $D$-distance antimagic if all vertices have distinct $D$-vertex-weights, and it is called $(a,d)-D$-distance antimagic if the $D$-vertex-weights constitute an arithmetic progression with difference $d$ and starting value $a$.
In this paper we study some necessary conditions for the existence of $D$-distance antimagic graphs. We conjecture that such conditions are also sufficient. Additionally, we study $\{1\}$-distance antimagic labelings for some cycle-related connected graphs: cycles, suns, prisms, complete graphs, wheels, fans, and friendship graphs.

Given a graph $G$ with $n$ vertices and an Abelian group $A$ of order $n$, an $A$-distance antimagic labelling of $G$ is a bijection from $V(G)$ to $A$ such that the vertices of $G$ have pairwise distinct weights, where the weight of a vertex is the sum (under the operation of $A$) of the labels assigned to its neighbours. An {$A$-distance magic labelling} of $G$ is a bijection from $V(G)$ to $A$ such that the weights of all vertices of $G$ are equal to the same element of $A$. In this paper we study these new labellings under a general setting with a focus on product graphs. We prove among other things several general results on group antimagic or magic labellings for Cartesian, direct and strong products of graphs. As applications we obtain several families of graphs admitting group distance antimagic or magic labellings with respect to elementary Abelian groups, cyclic groups or direct products of such groups.

A $Γ$-distance magic labeling of a graph $G=(V,E)$ with $|V | = n$ is a bijection $f$ from $V$ to an Abelian group $Γ$ of order $n$ such that the weight $w(x)=\sum_{y\in N_G(x)}f(y)$ of every vertex $x \in V$ is equal to the same element $μ\in Γ$, called the \emph{magic constant}.
In this paper we will show that if $G$ is a graph of order $n=2^{p}(2k+1)$ for some natural numbers $p$, $k$ such that $°(v)\equiv c \imod {2^{p+2}}$ for some constant $c$ for any $v\in V(G)$, then there exists a $Γ$-distance magic labeling for any Abelian group $Γ$ of order $4n$ for the direct product $G\times C_4$. Moreover if $c$ is even then there exists a $Γ$-distance magic labeling for any Abelian group $Γ$ of order $8n$ for the direct product $G\times C_8$.

A $Γ$-distance magic labeling of a graph $G=(V,E)$ with $|V | = n$ is a bijection $\ell$ from $V$ to an Abelian group $Γ$ of order $n$ such that the weight $w(x)=\sum_{y\in N_G(x)}\ell(y)$ of every vertex $x \in V$ is equal to the same element $μ\in Γ$, called the \emph{magic constant}. A graph $G$ is called a \emph{group distance magic graph} if there exists a $Γ$-distance magic labeling for every Abelian group $Γ$ of order $|V(G)|$.
In this paper we prove that some complete $k$-partite graphs are $\mathbb{Z}_p$-distance magic. Moreover we prove that $K_{m,n}$ is a group distance magic if and only if $n+m \not \equiv 2 \pmod 4$. We also show that if $n+m \equiv 2 \pmod 4$, then there does not exist a group $Γ$ of order $n+m$ such that there exists a $Γ$-distance labeling for $K_{m,n}$.

Let $G=(V,E)$ be a graph of order $n$. A distance magic labeling of $G$ is a bijection $\ell \colon V\rightarrow {1,...,n}$ for which there exists a positive integer $k$ such that $\sum_{x\in N(v)}\ell (x)=k$ for all $v\in V $, where $N(v)$ is the neighborhood of $v$. We introduce a natural subclass of distance magic graphs. For this class we show that it is closed for the direct product with regular graphs and closed as a second factor for lexicographic product with regular graphs. In addition, we characterize distance magic graphs among direct product of two cycles.

A \emph{group distance magic labeling} or a $\gr$-distance magic labeling of a graph $G(V,E)$ with $|V | = n$ is an injection $f$ from $V$ to an Abelian group $\gr$ of order $n$ such that the weight $w(x)=\sum_{y\in N_G(x)}f(y)$ of every vertex $x \in V$ is equal to the same element $μ\in \gr$, called the magic constant. In this paper we will show that if $G$ is a graph of order $n=2^{p}(2k+1)$ for some natural numbers $p$, $k$ such that $°(v)\equiv c \imod {2^{p+1}}$ for some constant $c$ for any $v\in V(G)$, then there exists an $\gr$-distance magic labeling for any Abelian group $\gr$ for the graph $G[C_4]$. Moreover we prove that if $\gr$ is an arbitrary Abelian group of order $4n$ such that $\gr \cong \zet_2 \times\zet_2 \times \gA$ for some Abelian group $\gA$ of order $n$, then exists a $\gr$-distance magic labeling for any graph $G[C_4]$.
