Supersymmetric Schur polynomials have saturated Newton polytopes
We prove that every supersymmetric Schur polynomial has a saturated Newton polytope (SNP). Our approach begins with a tableau-theoretic description of the support, which we encode as a polyhedron with a totally unimodular constraint matrix. The integrality of this polyhedron follows from the Hoffman-Kruskal criterion, thereby establishing the SNP property.
Newton polytope of good symmetric polynomials
Published in Comptes Rendus Mathématique, Volume 361 (2023), 767-775 • View PublicationBIB
We introduce a general class of symmetric polynomials that have saturated Newton polytope and their Newton polytope has integer decomposition property. The class covers numerous previously studied symmetric polynomials.
A characterization of the algebraic degree in semidefinite programming
Published in Collectanea Mathematica, 2023 • View PublicationBIB
In this article, we show that the algebraic degree in semidefinite programming can be expressed in terms of the coefficient of a certain monomial in a doubly symmetric polynomial. This characterization of the algebraic degree allows us to use the theory of symmetric polynomials to obtain many interesting results of Nie, Ranestad and Sturmfels in a simpler way.
A Murnaghan-Nakayama rule for Grothendieck polynomials of Grassmannian type
Published in Annals of Combinatorics, Vol. 28 (2024), 155-168 • View PublicationBIB
We consider the Grothendieck polynomials appearing in the K-theory of Grassmannians, which are analogs of Schur polynomials. This paper aims to establish a version of the Murnaghan-Nakayama rule for Grothendieck polynomials of the Grassmannian type. This rule allows us to express the product of a Grothendieck polynomial with a power sum symmetric polynomial into a linear combination of other Grothendieck polynomials.

An identity involving symmetric polynomials and the geometry of Lagrangian Grassmannians
Published • View PublicationBIB
We first prove an identity involving symmetric polynomials. This identity leads us into exploring the geometry of Lagrangian Grassmannians. As an insight applications, we obtain a formula for the integral over the Lagrangian Grassmannian of a characteristic class of the tautological sub-bundle. Moreover, a relation to that over the ordinary Grassmannian and its application to the degree formula for the Lagrangian Grassmannian are given. Finally, we present further applications to the computation of Schubert structure constants and three-point, degree $1$, genus $0$ Gromov--Witten invariants of the Lagrangian Grassmannian. Some examples together with explicit computations are presented.

Identities involving (doubly) symmetric polynomials and integrals over Grassmannians
Published • View PublicationBIB
We obtain identities involving symmetric and doubly symmetric polynomials. These identities provide a way of handling expressions appearing in the Atiyah-Bott-Berline-Vergne formula for Grassmannians. As corollaries, we obtain formulas for integrals over Grassmannians of characteristic classes of the tautological bundles. Moreover, we provide a valid proof of the Martin formula for the classical Grassmannian.
