Construction of local antimagic 3-colorable graphs of fixed even size -- matrix approach
An edge labeling of a connected graph $G = (V, E)$ is said to be local antimagic if it is a bijection $f:E \to\{1,\ldots ,|E|\}$ such that for any pair of adjacent vertices $x$ and $y$, $f^+(x)\not= f^+(y)$, where the induced vertex label $f^+(x)= \sum f(e)$, with $e$ ranging over all the edges incident to $x$. The local antimagic chromatic number of $G$, denoted by $χ_{la}(G)$, is the minimum number of distinct induced vertex labels over all local antimagic labelings of $G$. Suppose $χ_{la}(G)=χ_{la}(H)$ and $G_H$ is obtained from $G$ and $H$ by merging some vertices of $G$ with some vertices of $H$ bijectively. In this paper, we give ways to construct matrices with integers in $[1,10k]$, $k\ge 1$, that meet certain properties. Consequently, we obtained many families of (disconnected) bipartite (and tripartite) graphs of size $10k$ with local antimagic chromatic number 3.

An edge labeling of a connected graph $G = (V, E)$ is said to be local antimagic if there is a bijection $f:E \to\{1,\ldots ,|E|\}$ such that for any pair of adjacent vertices $x$ and $y$, $f^+(x)\not= f^+(y)$, where the induced vertex label $f^+(x)= \sum f(e)$, with $e$ ranging over all the edges incident to $x$. The local antimagic chromatic number of $G$, denoted by $χ_{la}(G)$, is the minimum number of distinct induced vertex labels over all local antimagic labelings of $G$. In this paper, we give three ways to construct a $(3m+2)\times (2k+1)$ matrix that meets certain properties for $m=1,3$ and $k\ge 1$. Consequently, we obtained many (disconnected) graphs of size $(3m+2)(2k+1)$ with local antimagic chromatic number 3.

A note on local antimagic chromatic number of lexicographic product graphs
Let $G = (V,E)$ be a connected simple graph. A bijection $f: E \rightarrow \{1,2,\ldots,|E|\}$ is called a local antimagic labeling of $G$ if $f^+(u) \neq f^+(v)$ holds for any two adjacent vertices $u$ and $v$, where $f^+(u) = \sum_{e\in E(u)} f(e)$ and $E(u$) is the set of edges incident to $u$. A graph $G$ is called local antimagic if $G$ admits at least a local antimagic labeling. The local antimagic chromatic number, denoted $χ_{la}(G)$, is the minimum number of induced colors taken over local antimagic labelings of $G$. Let $G$ and $H$ be two disjoint graphs. The graph $G[H]$ is obtained by the lexicographic product of $G$ and $H$. In this paper, we obtain sufficient conditions for $χ_{la}(G[H])\leq χ_{la}(G)χ_{la}(H)$. Consequently, we give examples of $G$ and $H$ such that $χ_{la}(G[H]) = χ(G)χ(H)$, where $χ(G)$ is the chromatic number of $G$. We conjecture that (i) there are infinitely many graphs $G$ and $H$ such that $χ_{la}(G[H])=χ_{la}(G)χ_{la}(H) = χ(G)χ(H)$, and (ii) for $k\ge 1$, $χ_{la}(G[H]) = χ(G)χ(H)$ if and only if $χ(G)χ(H) = 2χ(H) + \lceil\frac{χ(H)}{k}\rceil$, where $2k+1$ is the length of a shortest odd cycle in $G$.

An edge labeling of a graph $G = (V, E)$ is said to be local antimagic if it is a bijection $f:E \to\{1,\ldots ,|E|\}$ such that for any pair of adjacent vertices $x$ and $y$, $f^+(x)\not= f^+(y)$, where the induced vertex label of $x$ is $f^+(x)= \sum_{e\in E(x)} f(e)$ ($E(x)$ is the set of edges incident to $x$). The local antimagic chromatic number of $G$, denoted by $χ_{la}(G)$, is the minimum number of distinct induced vertex labels over all local antimagic labelings of $G$. In this paper, several sufficient conditions to determine the local antimagic chromatic number of the join of graphs are obtained. We then determine the exact value of the local antimagic chromatic number of many join graphs.
On Local Antimagic Vertex Coloring for Corona Products of Graphs
Let $G = (V, E)$ be a finite simple undirected graph without $K_2$ components. A bijection $f : E \rightarrow \{1, 2,\cdots, |E|\}$ is called a {\bf local antimagic labeling} if for any two adjacent vertices $u$ and $v$, they have different vertex sums, i.e. $w(u) \neq w(v)$, where the vertex sum $w(u) = \sum_{e \in E(u)} f(e)$, and $E(u)$ is the set of edges incident to $u$. Thus any local antimagic labeling induces a proper vertex coloring of $G$ where the vertex $v$ is assigned the color(vertex sum) $w(v)$. The {\bf local antimagic chromatic number} $χ_{la}(G)$ is the minimum number of colors taken over all colorings induced by local antimagic labelings of $G$. In this article among others we determine completely the local antimagic chromatic number $χ_{la}(G\circ \overline{K_m})$ for the corona product of a graph $G$ with the null graph $\overline{K_m}$ on $m\geq 1$ vertices, when $G$ is a path $P_n$, a cycle $C_n$, and a complete graph $K_n$.
