Weakened Gallai-Ramsey Numbers for Books
For $1\le s<t$ and any graph $G$, the weakened Gallai-Ramsey number $gr^t_s(G)$ is defined to be the least $p\in \mathbb{N}$ such that every Gallai $t$-coloring of the edges of $K_p$ (i.e., a $t$-coloring that lacks rainbow triangles) contains a subgraph isomorphic to $G$ whose edges use at most $s$ of the colors. In the case of a book graph $B_n:=K_2+nK_1$, Jakhar and Moun determined the values $gr^3_2(B_3)=6$ and $gr^3_2(B_4)=7$. In this paper, we extend their results to $t>3$ colors, and we determine the values of $gr^3_2(B_n)$ for $5\le n\le 15$. General lower bounds for $gr^t_2(B_n)$ are also given.

Gallai-Ramsey Numbers for $\ell$-Connected Graphs
Given a nonempty graph $G$, a collection of nonempty graphs $\cal{H}$, and a positive integer $k$, the Gallai-Ramsey number $\mathrm{gr}_k(G:\mathcal{H})$ is defined to be the minimum positive integer $n$ such that every exact $k$-edge-coloring of a complete graph $K_n$ contains either a rainbow copy of $G$ or a monochromatic copy of some element in $\mathcal{H}$. In this paper, we obtain some exact values and general lower and upper bounds for $\mathrm{gr}_k(G:\mathcal{F}^\ell)$, where $\mathcal{F}^\ell$ is the set of $\ell$-connected graphs and $G\in\{P_5, K_{1,3}\}$.
Lower Bounds for Multicolor Star-Critical Ramsey Numbers
The star-critical Ramsey number is a refinement of the concept of a Ramsey number. In this paper, we give equivalent criteria for which the star-critical Ramsey number vanishes. Next, we provide a new general lower bound for multicolor star-critical Ramsey numbers whenever it does not vanish. As an application, we evaluate $r_*(P_k, P_3, P_3)$, where $P_n$ is a path of order $n$. In the process of proving these results, we also show that $r_*(C_5, P_3)=3$, where $C_5$ is a cycle of order $5$.

Rainbow Numbers for the Generalized Schur Equation $x_1 + x_2 + \cdots + x_{m-1} = x_m$
We consider the rainbow Schur number $RS_m(n)$, defined to be the minimum number of colors such that every coloring of $\{1,2,\ldots,n\}$, using all $RS_m(n)$ colors, contains a rainbow solution to the equation $x_1+x_2+\cdots +x_{m-1}=x_m$. Recently, the exact values of $RS_3(n)$ and $RS_4(n)$ were determined for all $n$. In this paper, we expand upon this work by providing a formula for $RS_m(n)$ that holds for all $m \geq 4$ and all $n$. A weakened version of the rainbow Schur number is also considered, for which one seeks solutions to the above-mentioned linear equation where, for a fixed $t \leq m$, at least $t$ colors are used.
Algebraic Properties of a Hypergraph Lifting Map
Recent work in hypergraph Ramsey theory has involved the introduction of a "lifting map" that associates a certain $3$-uniform hypergraph to a given graph, bounding cliques in a predictable way. In this paper, we interpret the lifting map as a linear transformation. This interpretation allows us to use algebraic techniques to prove several structural properties of the lifting map, culminating in new lower bounds for certain $3$-uniform hypergraph Ramsey numbers.

Constructive Methods in Gallai-Ramsey Theory for Hypergraphs
Much recent progress in hypergraph Ramsey theory has focused on constructions that lead to lower bounds for the corresponding Ramsey numbers. In this paper, we consider applications of these results to Gallai colorings. That is, we focus on the Ramsey numbers resulting from only considering $t$-colorings of the hyperedges of complete $r$-uniform hypergraphs in which no rainbow $K_{r+1}^{(r)}$-subhypergraphs exists. We also provide new constructions which imply improved lower bounds for many $3$ and $4$-uniform Ramsey numbers and $3$ and $4$-uniform Gallai-Ramsey numbers.

Minimally Connected Hypergraphs
Graphs and hypergraphs are foundational structures in discrete mathematics. They have many practical applications, including the rapidly developing field of bioinformatics, and more generally, biomathematics. They are also a source of interesting algorithmic problems. In this paper, we define a \textit{construction process} for minimally connected $r$-uniform hypergraphs, which captures the intuitive notion of building a hypergraph piece-by-piece, and a numerical invariant called the \textit{tightness}, which is independent of the construction process used. Using these tools, we prove some fundamental properties of minimally connected hypergraphs. We also give bounds on their chromatic numbers and provide some results involving edge colorings. We show that every connected $r$-uniform hypergraph contains a minimally connected spanning subhypergraph and provide a polynomial-time algorithm for identifying such a subhypergraph.

Trees and $n$-Good Hypergraphs
Trees fill many extremal roles in graph theory, being minimally connected and serving a critical role in the definition of $n$-good graphs. In this article, we consider the generalization of trees to the setting of $r$-uniform hypergraphs and how one may extend the notion of $n$-good graphs to this setting. We prove numerous bounds for $r$-uniform hypergraph Ramsey numbers involving trees and complete hypergraphs and show that in the $3$-uniform case, all trees are $n$-good when $n$ is odd or $n$ falls into specified even cases.
