On a conjecture of Amdeberhan, Andrews and Ballantine for double Lambert series
In this note, we prove a recent conjecture of Amdeberhan, Andrews and Ballantine concerning a double Lambert series. More precisely, they conjectured that \[ \coeff{q^{N2^a}} \sum_{m,k\geq 1} \frac{q^{mk2^a}}{(1+q^{k2^{a-1}})(1-q^{2m-1})} =σ_1(N), \] where $σ_1(N)$ is the sum of all the positive divisors of $N$. The main idea of the proof is to first transform a double Lambert series on the left-hand side into a single sum. This leads us to derive a new representation of quasi-modular forms $E_2(q)$.

On Partition Classes Arising from Parity, Differences, and Repeated Smallest Parts
In this paper, we study various classes of partition functions such as those related to the parity of the number of parts, to differences of partition numbers, and to partitions with a repeated smallest part. We establish identities connecting these various classes of partitions. Moreover, our identities help us to extend the Euler's partition theorem. An analogue of Legendre's theorem of the partition-theoretic interpretation of Euler's pentagonal number theorem is also derived. Both combinatorial and $q$-series proofs are given for our results.

On Euler's Theorem
Euler's theorem asserts that $A(n)=B(n)$ where $A(n)$ is the number of partitions of $n$ into distinct parts and $B(n)$ is the number of partitions of $n$ into odd parts. In this paper, it is proved that for $n>0$, \begin{align*} A(n)=B(n)=C(n+1)=\frac{1}{2}D(n+1), \end{align*} where $C(n)$ is the number of partitions of $n$ with largest part even and parts not exceeding half of the largest part are distinct, and $D(n)$ is the number of partitions of $n$ into non-negative parts wherein the smallest part appear exactly twice and no other parts are repeated.

Rank, two-color partitions and Mock theta function
In this paper, we establish that the number of partitions of a natural number with positive odd rank is equal to the number of two-color partitions (red and blue), where the smallest part is even (say $2n$) and all red parts are even and lie within the interval $(2n,4n]$. This led us to derive a new representation for the third order mock theta function $f_3(q)$ and an analogue of the fundamental identity for the smallest part partition function Spt$(n)$, both of which are of significant interest in their own right. We also consider the odd smallest part version of the above two-color partition, whose generating function involves another third order mock theta function $φ_3(q)$.

On some $q$-series identities related to a generalized divisor function and their implications
Published • View PublicationBIB
In this article, a $q$-series examined by Kluyver and Uchimura is generalized. This allows us to find generalization of the identities in the random acyclic digraph studied by Simon, Crippa, and Collenberg in 1993. As one of the corollaries of our main theorem, we get results of Dilcher and Andrews, Crippa, and Simon. This main theorem involves a surprising new generalization of the divisor function $σ_s(n)$, which we denote by $σ_{s,z}(n)$. Analytic properties of $σ_{s,z}(n)$ are also studied. As a special case of one of our theorem we obtain result from a recent paper of Bringmann and Jennings-Shaffer.
