Partitions in which every term but the smallest one is consecutive
In this article, we introduce the notion of almost consecutive partitions. A partition is almost consecutive if every term is consecutive, with the possible exception of the smallest one. We find formulas relating to the smallest parts of consecutive and almost consecutive partitions. We also find an alternate combinatorial interpretation of the number of almost consecutive partitions of a given integer $n$ and an asymptotic formula for this quantity.
On the $k$th smallest part of a partition into distinct parts
A classic theorem of Uchimura states that the difference between the sum of the smallest parts of the partitions of $n$ into an odd number of distinct parts and the corresponding sum for an even number of distinct parts is equal to the number of divisors of $n$. In this article, we initiate the study of the $k$th smallest part of a partition $π$ into distinct parts of any integer $n$, namely $s_k(π)$. Using $s_k(π)$, we generalize the above result for the $k$th smallest parts of partitions for any positive integer $k$ and show its connection with divisor functions for general $k$ and derive interesting special cases. We also study weighted partitions involving $s_k(π)$ with another parameter $z$, which helps us obtain several new combinatorial and analytical results. Finally, we prove sum-of-tails identities associated with the weighted partition function involving $s_k(π)$.
Non-standard binary representations and the Stern sequence
We show that the number of short binary signed-digit representations of an integer $n$ is equal to the $n$-th term in the Stern sequence. Various proofs are provided, including direct, bijective, and generating function proofs. We also show that this result can be derived from recent work of Monroe on binary signed-digit representations of a fixed length.
Generalizations of the Andrews-Yee identities associated with the mock theta functions $ω(q)$ and $ν(q)$

George Andrews and Ae Ja Yee recently established beautiful results involving bivariate generalizations of the third order mock theta functions $ω(q)$ and $ν(q)$, thereby extending their earlier results with the second author. Generalizing the Andrews-Yee identities for trivariate generalizations of these mock theta functions remained a mystery, as pointed out by Li and Yang in their recent work. We partially solve this problem and generalize these identities. Several new as well as well-known results are derived. For example, one of our two main theorems gives, as a corollary, a special case of Soon-Yi Kang's three-variable reciprocity theorem. A relation between a new restricted overpartition function $p^{*}(n)$ and a weighted partition function $p_*(n)$ is obtained from one of the special cases of our second theorem.
On some $q$-series identities related to a generalized divisor function and their implications

In this article, a $q$-series examined by Kluyver and Uchimura is generalized. This allows us to find generalization of the identities in the random acyclic digraph studied by Simon, Crippa, and Collenberg in 1993. As one of the corollaries of our main theorem, we get results of Dilcher and Andrews, Crippa, and Simon. This main theorem involves a surprising new generalization of the divisor function $σ_s(n)$, which we denote by $σ_{s,z}(n)$. Analytic properties of $σ_{s,z}(n)$ are also studied. As a special case of one of our theorem we obtain result from a recent paper of Bringmann and Jennings-Shaffer.

In this article, a finite analogue of the generalized sum-of-tails identity of Andrews and Freitas is obtained. We derive several interesting results as special cases of this analogue, in particular, a recent identity of Dixit, Eyyyunni, Maji and Sood. We derive a new extension of Abel's lemma with the help of which we obtain a one-parameter generalization of a sum-of-tails identity of Andrews, Garvan and Liang, an identity of Ramanujan as well as two new results - one for Ramanujan's function $σ(q)$ and another for the function recently introduced by Andrews and Ballantine. Later we introduce a new generalization $\mathrm{FFW}_{c}(n)$ of a function of Fokkink, Fokkink and Wang and derive an identity for its generating function. This gives, as a special case, a recent representation for the generating function of $\mathrm{spt}(n)$ given by Andrews, Garvan and Liang. We also obtain some weighted partition identities along with new representations for two of Ramanujan's third order mock theta functions through combinatorial techniques.
