A Proof of a Conjecture on Fixed Perimeter Partitions
Finding fixed perimeter analogues of various partition theoretic identities and inequalities has recently emerged as an active area of research. Gray, Payne, Swisher, and Watson [\textit{Discrete Math.}, 2026] established several fixed perimeter analogues of partition theoretic results inspired by Euler's celebrated partition identity. Very recently, in a separate work [\textit{ar{X}iv:2608.00421}, 2026], they explored fixed perimeter analogues of inequalities related to parity biases. Introducing the concept of parity bias, Kim, Kim, and Lovejoy [\textit{Eur. J. Comb.}, 2020] conjectured that $pd_o(n)>pd_e(n)$ for all $n\ge 20$, where $pd_o(n)$ (respectively, $pd_e(n)$) denote the number of partitions of $n$ into distinct parts having more odd parts (respectively, even parts) than even parts (respectively, odd parts). The author, together with Banerjee, Bhattacharjee, Dastidar, and Saikia [\textit{Eur. J. Comb.}, 2022], proved this conjecture. Gray, Payne, Swisher, and Watson conjectured that a fixed perimeter analogue of this inequality holds for all $n\ge 9$. In this paper, we confirm their conjecture.
Fixed Perimeter Analogues of Several Partition Results Related to Parity
In 2016, Straub proved that Euler's classic partition identity holds true for partitions with largest hook (perimeter) $n$. This inspired further study of the relationship between classical partitions and fixed perimeter partitions. We extend the study of parity bias inequalities, first introduced by Kim, Kim, and Lovejoy in 2020, to the fixed perimeter setting and show using combinatorial methods that fixed perimeter analogues of many classical parity bias results can be proven and generalized. We also extend these methods to prove similar inequalities for the fixed perimeter analogues of PED and POD partitions. We additionally develop recursive formulas for the number of perimeter $n$ partitions with odd parts distinct and even parts unrestricted and with even parts distinct and odd parts unrestricted.

Formalized $q$-series: The Rogers-Ramanujan Identities and Beyond
The theory of $q$-series and basic hypergeometric series plays a crucial role at the intersection of combinatorics, number theory, and representation theory. From the classical partition identities of Euler and Jacobi to modern developments in class field theory, vertex operator algebras, and the Monstrous Moonshine conjecture, $q$-series provide the analytic framework for a wide range of profound applications. In this paper, we discuss the formalization of this theory in the Lean proof assistant, a process that requires careful design of scalable and versatile structures to reconcile formal algebraic identities with analytic convergence properties. We address these foundational challenges by focusing on the construction of $q$-Pochhammer symbols, $q$-binomial coefficients, Bailey's Lemma and similar primitives. To demonstrate the utility of this work, we provide fully verified proofs of the Jacobi Triple Product formula and the celebrated Rogers-Ramanujan identities, which serve as both historical and technical benchmarks for the field. This work establishes a rigorous computational foundation for the future formalization of mock theta functions, modular forms, and the diverse algebraic structures that underpin their applications across mathematics and physics.

A generalization of partition identities of Göllnitz-Gordon, Rogers-Ramanujan and Nandi
We propose Andrews-Gordon type series for certain level 2 standard modules of type $A^{(2)}_{\textrm{odd}}$, and prove the corresponding sum-product identities except for $A^{(2)}_{6n+3}$. These identities generalize the identities of Göllnitz-Gordon (mod 8), Rogers-Ramanujan (mod 5) and (partially) Nandi (mod 14).
An Andrews-Gordon Type Identity Related to Andrews' Parity Consideration
Andrews investigated parity conditions in the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon theorem. Under the conditions that even parts or odd parts appear an even number of times, Andrews discovered two Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon type partition theorems and derived corresponding generating functions. In the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon theorem, there are two parameters $k$ and $a$, where $k-1$ is the maximum number of consecutive parts $l$ and $l+1$, and $a-1$ is the maximum number of parts equal to $1$. Andrews' first theorem deals with the case $k\equiv a \;(\rm{mod}\;2)$, while the second theorem concerns the case where $k$ is even and $a$ is odd. These two partition identities have different infinite product forms on the right-hand side. In this paper, we consider the case $k\not\equiv a \;(\rm{mod}\;2)$ and use Bailey's lemma to obtain an Andrews-Gordon type identity whose right-hand side coincides with that of Andrews' identity for the case $k\equiv a \;(\rm{mod}\;2)$. We were unable to find a suitable combinatorial interpretation of the infinite sum form of this expression in terms of partitions, but with the help of lattice paths, we provide an appropriate combinatorial interpretation.

Combinatorial perspectives on identities for partitions with distinct even parts
Partitions with distinct even parts have long been the subject of extensive research. In this paper, We present some new perspectives on such partitions from a combinatorial viewpoint, and connect them with signed partitions and bicolored partitions, thereby obtaining several partition identities. We construct bijective proofs for each of our results. Furthermore, these bijections will partially answer the combinatorial problems posed by Andrews-El Bachraoui and K$\imath$l$\imath$ç-Kurşungöz. respectively.

Andrews--Gordon type identities with parity restrictions through particle motion
In this paper, we use the particle motion bijection introduced by Warnaar and developed by the two authors, Jouhet and Konan, to study q-series and partition identities of the Andrews--Gordon type with parity restrictions. These restrictions are of the type ``even (resp. odd) parts appear an even number of times". We prove $q$-series identities where a multisum equals a sum of products, which generalise identities of Andrews and Kim--Yee in a similar way that Stanton's identities generalised the Andrews--Gordon identities. As a consequence of our results, we obtain a simple proof of a recent identity of Chern--Li--Stanton--Xue--Yee related to Ariki--Koike algebras.

SIP classes and four-parameter partition identities
The four-parameter weight of partitions played an important role in the theory of integer partitions, for its connection with various statistics, including the alternating sum and the BG-rank. In 2022, Andrews introduced the SIP classes, by which he reviewed a number of classic partition identities and provided new combinatorial insights. In this work, we extend the SIP classes and provide a unified method to study the four-parameter weight of partitions. By treating partitions with position parity as examples, we provide four-parameter partition identities related to these partition sets. And as corollary, we also present the generating functions that keep track of the BG-rank and the joint distribution of the number of odd parts and the alternating sum, respectively.

Inequalities for the number of $t$-hooks in two partition classes arising from sum-product identities
Motivated by recent study on the number of $t$-hooks in partitions arising from Euler's partition identity, we investigate the number of $t$-hooks in the sets from the first Rogers-Ramanujan identity and the first little Göllitz identity. In particular, for $t=1,2$, we obtain the generating functions for the number of $t$-hooks and prove $t$-hook inequalities by deriving asymptotic formulas.

A proof of $J$-generalization of the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon identities via commutative algebra
The Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon identities generalize the classical partition identities discovered independently by L. J. Rogers and S. Ramanujan. Recently, Afsharijoo gave a commutative algebra proof of the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon identities. In this article, we present a commutative algebra proof of a broader family of identities introduced by Coulson \textit{et al.}, which includes the Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon identities as a special case. In the proof, we relate the generating functions associated with these identities to the Hilbert-Poincaré series of suitably constructed graded algebras.

A proof of the Göllnitz-Gordon-Andrews identities via commutative algebra
The Göllnitz-Gordon-Andrews identities generalize the partition identities discovered independently by H. Göllnitz and B. Gordon. In this article, we present a commutative algebra proof of the Göllnitz-Gordon-Andrews identities. More generally, we establish a family of identities, the special cases of which are the Göllnitz-Gordon-Andrews identities. In the proof, we relate the generating functions associated with these identities to the Hilbert-Poincaré series of suitably constructed graded algebras.
Combinatorial proofs of some identities on overpartitions with repeated smallest non-overlined part
Let $\overline{\mathrm{spt}}k(n)$ denote the number of overpartitions of $n$ where the smallest non-overlined part, say $s(π)$, appears $k$ times and every overlined part is bigger than $s(π)$. Let $\overline{\mathrm{spt}}k_o(n)$ denote the number of overpartitions of $n$ where the smallest non-overlined part appears $k$ times, every overlined part is bigger than $s(π)$ and all parts other than $s(π)$ are incongruent modulo $2$ with $s(π)$. Also, let $b_e(k,n)$ (resp., $b_o(k,n)$) denote the number of overpartitions of $n$ counted by $\overline{\mathrm{spt}}k_o(n)$ where the number of parts greater than $s(π)$ is even (resp., odd), and let $$\overline{\mathrm{spt}}k_o'(n)=b_e(k,n)-b_o(k,n).$$ Recently, Malik and Sarma (arXiv:2601.15601v1) expressed the generating functions of these partition functions in terms of linear combinations of $q$-series with polynomials in $q$ as coefficients. As corollaries, they derived some partition identities involving the functions for $k=1$ and sought for combinatorial proofs of their results. In this paper, we present some desired proofs.
Partition identities associated with $A_r$-Surface singularities
We prove a family of partition identities involving integer partitions in three colors. The conditions imposed on the types of partitions appearing in these identities involve constraints that arise in the Rogers-Ramanujan and Andrews-Gordon identities, as well as in their recent extensions. The identities established in this paper are associated with the $A_r$ surface singularities via the arc HP-series, which provides a measure of singularities of algebraic varieties defined using arc spaces.

On Glaisher's Partition Theorem
Glaisher's theorem states that the number of partitions of $n$ into parts which repeat at most $m-1$ times is equal to the number of partitions of $n$ into parts which are not divisible by $m$. The $m=2$ case is Euler's famous partition theorem. Recently, Andrews, Kumar, and Yee gave two new partition functions $C(n)$ and $D(n)$ related to Euler's theorem. Lin and Zhang extended their result to Glaisher's theorem by generalizing $C(n)$. We generalize $D(n)$, prove an analogous partition identity for the $m=3$ case, and show that the general case is an example of an almost partition identity. We also provide a new series equal to Glaisher's product both in the finite and infinite cases.

Rogers-Ramanujan type identities at $Λ_0$ from perfect crystals of exceptional quantum affine algebras
We derive Rogers--Ramanujan type partition identities at the fundamental weight $Λ_0$ for the exceptional affine types $G_2^{(1)}$, $D_4^{(3)}$, $F_4^{(1)}$, $E_6^{(2)}$, $E_6^{(1)}$, $E_7^{(1)}$ and $E_8^{(1)}$. Our starting point is the Dousse--Konan reformulation of the $(\mathrm{KMN})^2$ crystal character formula, applied to the level-one perfect crystal $B=B(θ)\sqcup B(0)$ of Benkart--Frenkel--Kang--Lee with ground element $φ\in B(0)$. This realizes the normalized character $e^{-Λ_0}\mathrm{ch} L(Λ_0)$ as generating functions of grounded $B$-colored partitions governed locally by the crystal energy. After principal specialization, we obtain a colored partition model subject to explicit difference, congruence, and initial conditions. On the product side, under the same specialization, the Weyl--Kac character formula yields an explicit Euler-type product, equivalently the generating function for partitions with parts in a concrete allowed set. Comparing the two specializations gives coefficientwise equalities of generating functions. A key computational feature is that the difference matrix can be produced from the crystal data without explicitly computing the energy function. For each type we tabulate the congruence data, forbidden initial parts, and the full difference matrix, and we provide reproducible coefficient checks.

The combinatorics of some two-color partition identities
Recently, Andrews and EI Bachraoui obtained several iden tities on two-colored partitions. While solving open problems they posed, Chen and Zhou derived a number of identities using analytic methods and asked for combinatorial proofs. In this note, we provide the requested combinatorial proofs. Additionally, we derive several new identities and provide combinatorial proofs for them.

Partition analysis and the little Göllnitz identites
This work follows the spirit of Andrews' series of papers on Partition Analysis. In $2011$, Savage and Sills found new sum sides for the little Göllnitz identities and provided their partition interpretations. It turns out that similar companions exist for a mod $8$ partition identity due to Andrews. In this work, we use MacMahon's Partition Analysis to study partitions related to these identities. We find refined generating functions for them, where we keep track of the size of each part. Finally, by considering the alternating sum and Schmidt weight, we show the application of these refined functions in the study of partition statistics.

On a pair of three-colored (mod 10) partition identities
We prove a pair of (mod 10) partition identities. The sum sides involve three-colored partitions into distinct parts, while the product sides are the generating functions for distinct partitions times the Rogers-Ramanujan products. Our proofs make heavy use of Maple to verify that functional equations are satisfied.

Cassini-Catalan Determinants via Ramanujan's Theta Identity
In this paper, we show that the classical Cassini and Catalan identities for Fibonacci numbers arise naturally from a single quadratic theta-function identity of Ramanujan. Expanding the identity $ψ(q)ψ(q^{3})=ψ(q^{4})\varphi(q^{6})+q\,\varphi(q^{2})ψ(q^{12})$ via the Jacobi triple product and equating coefficients yields the unified $q$-determinant $F_{n+r}(q)F_{n-r}(q)-F_{n}(q)^{2}=(-q)^{\,n-r}F_{r}(q)^{2}$, $n\ge r\ge 1$, where $ψ(q)$ and $\varphi(q)$ are Ramanujan's theta functions with $q$ a complex parameter in the unit disc $(\lvert q \rvert < 1)$ and $F_n(q)$ denotes the Carlitz $q$-Fibonacci polynomials. The radial limit $q\to1^{-}$ recovers Cassini's formula ($r=1$) and Catalan's one-parameter extension, while the same derivation with an auxiliary weight produces new partition-refined versions. The argument uses only standard $q$-series algebra (triple-product expansions, $q$-Pochhammer cancellations, and coefficient extraction), providing a transparent modular explanation of the alternating sign $(-1)^{\,n-r}$ in Catalan's identity through the level-6 provenance of $\varphi$ and $ψ$. Beyond unifying Cassini\textendash Catalan in a single framework, the method lifts seamlessly to higher-order recurrences, giving a template for Tribonacci-type determinants and suggesting congruence phenomena obtained from modular dissections and root-of-unity limits. The results place familiar Fibonacci determinants within Ramanujan's analytic landscape, indicate routes to combinatorial bijections that mirror the analytic cancellations, and connect with themes in modern $q$-series\textemdash ranging from colored partition identities to quantum-modular and exactly solvable models\textemdash thereby highlighting both the explanatory power and the ongoing relevance of Ramanujan's theta identities.

Grounded partitions of type $A_1^{(1)}$ at levels 1 and 2: bijections, affine crystal graphs, and partition identities
Grounded partitions, introduced by Dousse and Konan, are coloured partitions satisfying difference conditions given by a matrix with nonnegative integer entries. For the matrices studied in this paper, the generating functions are known to be infinite products, corresponding to the principal specialisation of characters of highest weight modules of type $A_1^{(1)}$. We give the first bijective proof that the generating functions of grounded partitions at level $2$ are infinite products. We then give a new combinatorial model for affine crystal graphs of type $A_1^{(1)}$ at level $2$, where the vertices are grounded partitions and the arrows are given by explicit bracketing rules. The grounded partition model for affine crystal graphs of highest weights $Λ_0$, $Λ_1$ and $Λ_0 + Λ_1$ gives rise to new $q$-series identities obtained by decomposing the affine crystal graphs into the crystal graphs of finite type $A_1$ via the restricted representation.
