Method of Weighted Words on Cylindric Partitions
We study the generating functions of cylindric partitions having profile $c=(c_1, c_2, \ldots, c_r)$ with rank $2$ and levels $2, 3$ and $4$. As a result, we give expressions alternative to Borodin's formula for these generating functions. We use the method of weighted words which was first introduced by Alladi and Gordon, later was applied by Dousse in a new version to prove some partition identities and to get infinite products. We adapt the method to our subject with a more combinatorial approach.

MacMahon's Double Vision: Partition Diamonds Revisited
Plane partition diamonds were introduced by Andrews, Paule, and Riese (2001) as part of their study of MacMahon's $Ω$-operator in search for integer partition identities. More recently, Dockery, Jameson, Sellers, and Wilson (2024) extended this concept to $d$-fold partition diamonds and found their generating function in a recursive form. We approach $d$-fold partition diamonds via Stanley's (1972) theory of $P$-partitions and give a closed formula for a bivariate generalization of the Dockery--Jameson--Sellers--Wilson generating function; its main ingredient is the Euler--Mahonian polynomial encoding descent statistics of permutations.

The combinatorics of identities involving overpartitions with distinct parts
Recently, Andrews and EI Bachraoui discovered several companions for some famous $q$-series formulas, and derived some new identities involving partitions and overpartitions with distinct parts. In this paper, we shall refine their results by the number of parts of partitions and furthermore, we will also provide the combinatorial proofs for those partition identities.
Signed Partitions and Rogers-Ramanujan type Identities
George Andrews [\emph{Bull. Amer. Math. Soc.}, 2007, 561--573] introduced the idea of a \emph{signed partiton} of an integer; similar to an ordinary integer partitions, but where some of the parts could be negative. Further, Andrews reinterpreted the classical Göllnitz--Gordon partition identities in terms of signed partitions. In the present work, we provide interpretations of the sum sides of Rogers--Ramanujan type identities, including a new signed partition interpretation of the Göllnitz--Gordon identities, different from that of Andrews. Both analytic and bijective proofs are presented.
Fixed perimeter analogues of some partition results
Euler's partition identity states that the number of partitions of $n$ into odd parts is equal to the number of partitions of $n$ into distinct parts. Strikingly, Straub proved in 2016 that this identity also holds when counting partitions of any size with largest hook (perimeter) $n$. This has inspired further investigation of partition identities and inequalities in the fixed perimeter setting. Here, we explore fixed perimeter analogues of some well-known partition results inspired by Euler's partition identity.
A divisor generating $q$-series and cumulants arising from random graphs
Uchimura, in 1987, introduced a probability generating function for a random variable $X$ and using properties of this function he discovered an interesting $q$-series identity. He further showed that the $m$-th cumulant with respect to the random variable $X$ is nothing but the generating function for the generalized divisor function $σ_{m-1}(n)$. Simon, Crippa, and Collenberg, in 1993, explored the $G_{n,p}$-model of a random acyclic digraph and defined a random variable $γ_n^{*}(1)$. Quite interestingly, they found links between limit of its mean and the generating function for the divisor function $d(n)$. Later in 1997, Andrews, Crippa and Simon extended these results using $q$-series techniques. They calculated limit of the mean and variance of the random variable $γ_n^{*}(1)$ which correspond to the first and second cumulants. In this paper, we generalize the result of Andrews, Crippa and Simon by calculating limit of the $t$-th cumulant in terms of the generalized divisor function. Furthermore, we also discover limit forms for identities of Uchimura and Dilcher. This provides a fourth side to the Uchimura-Ramanujan-divisor type three way partition identities expounded by the first four authors recently.

Combinatorial proofs of several partition identities of Andrews and Merca
Based on a bijection due to Fu and Tang, we provide combinatorial proofs of several partition identities of Andrews and Merca. We also introduce two weights for partitions to extend one of these identities.

A new grounded partition identity of type $D_4^{(3)}$
In this paper, we prove a new Rogers--Ramanujan-type identity, involving grounded partitions, by computing a character of the affine Kac--Moody algebra $D_4^{(3)}$ in two different ways. The product side is derived using Lepowsky's product formula, while the sum side is obtained using perfect crystals with a technique of Dousse and Konan.
A generalization of Franklin's partition identity and a Beck-type companion identity
Euler's classic partition identity states that the number of partitions of $n$ into odd parts equals the number of partitions of $n$ into distinct parts. We develop a new generalization of this identity, which yields a previous generalization of Franklin as a special case, and prove an accompanying Beck-type companion identity.

A Generalized Burge Correspondence and $k$-measure of Partitions
Let $P$ be the set of integer partitions and $D$ the subset of those with distinct parts. We extend a correspondence of Burge between partitions and binary words to give encodings of both $D$ and $D$ as words over a $k$-ary alphabet, for any fixed $k\geq 2$. These are used to prove refinements of two partition identities involving $k$-measure that were recently derived algebraically by Andrews, Chern and Li. The relationship between our encoding of $D$ and minimum gap-size partition identities (e.g. Schur's Theorem) is also briefly discussed.

Toward resolving Kang and Park's generalization of the Alder-Andrews Theorem
The Alder-Andrews Theorem, a partition inequality generalizing Euler's partition identity, the first Rogers-Ramanujan identity, and a theorem of Schur to $d$-distinct partitions of $n$, was proved successively by Andrews in 1971, Yee in 2008, and Alfes, Jameson, and Lemke Oliver in 2010. While Andrews and Yee utilized $q$-series and combinatorial methods, Alfes et al. proved the finite number of remaining cases using asymptotics originating with Meinardus together with high-performance computing. In 2020, Kang and Park conjectured a "level $2$" Alder-Andrews type partition inequality which relates to the second Rogers-Ramanujan identity. Duncan, Khunger, the second author, and Tamura proved Kang and Park's conjecture for all but finitely many cases using a combinatorial shift identity. Here, we generalize the methods of Alfes et al. to resolve nearly all of the remaining cases of Kang and Park's conjecture.
Analogues of Alder-Type Partition Inequalities for Fixed Perimeter Partitions
In a 2016 paper, Straub proved an analogue to Euler's partition identity for partitions with fixed perimeter. Later, Fu and Tang provided a refinement and generalization of Straub's analogue to $d$-distinct partitions as well as a result related to the first Rogers-Ramanujan identity. Motivated by Alder-type partition identities and their generalizations, we build on work of Fu and Tang to establish generalized Alder-type partition inequalities in a fixed perimeter setting, and notably, a reverse Alder-type inequality.

Wronskians form the inverse system of the arcs of a double point
The ideal of the arc scheme of a double point or, equivalently, the differential ideal generated by the ideal of a double point is a primary ideal in an infinite-dimensional polynomial ring supported at the origin. This ideal has a rich combinatorial structure connecting it to singularity theory, partition identities, representation theory, and differential algebra. Macaulay inverse system is a powerful tool for studying the structure of primary ideals which describes an ideal in terms of certain linear differential operators. In the present paper, we show that the inverse system of the ideal of the arc scheme of a double point is precisely a vector space spanned by all the Wronskians of the variables and their formal derivatives. We then apply this characterization to extend our recent result on Poincaré-type series for such ideals.

Lattice paths and Rogers--Ramanujan--Gordon type overpartitions
In this paper, we establish a connection between Rogers-Ramanujan-Gordon type overpartitions to lattice paths with four kinds of unitary steps. By establishing the bijective relationship between overpartitions and lattice paths, we demonstrate that the theorems provided by Chen, Sang and Shi can be formulated in the form of lattice paths. Subsequently, inspired by Andrews' work on parity in partition identities and its related implications, we impose parity constraints on lattice paths and present some novel discoveries. By leveraging the parity outcomes within lattice paths, we also revisit overpartitions to derive results pertaining to overpartitions with parity considerations.
Ghost series and a motivated proof of the Bressoud-Göllnitz-Gordon identities
We present what we call a "motivated proof" of the Bressoud-Göllnitz-Gordon partition identities. Similar "motivated proofs" have been given by Andrews and Baxter for the Rogers-Ramanujan identities and by Lepowsky and Zhu for Gordon's identities. Additionally, "motivated proofs" have also been given for the Andrews-Bressoud partition identities by Kanade, Lepowsky, Russell, and Sills and for the Göllnitz-Gordon-Andrews identities by Coulson, Kanade, Lepowsky, McRae, Qi, Russell, and the third author. Our proof borrows both the use of "ghost series" from the "motivated proof" of the Andrews-Bressoud identities and uses recursions similar to those found in the "motivated proof" of the Göllnitz-Gordon-Andrews identities. We anticipate that this "motivated proof" of the Bressoud-Göllnitz-Gordon identities will illuminate certain twisted vertex-algebraic constructions.

On The Toric Ideals of the Coloured Graphs of Reduced Words
We study a family $\mathcal{B}$ of pseudo-multipartite graphs indexed by staircase partitions. They are realised from the reduced words of certain class of permutations. We investigate the vertex proper colouring of these graphs and give the general chromatic polynomial. For each member $B_λ$, we construct an affine toric ideal $\mathcal{I}_{B_λ}$ associated to vertex proper colouring using partition identity. It turns out that the projective version $\mathcal{V}(\mathcal{I}_{B_λ})$ is realised from the cartoon diagram associated with the vertex proper colouring.

A Partition Identity Related to Stanley's Theorem
Published in Amer. Math. Monthly 125 10: 929-933 (2018) • View PublicationBIB
In this paper, we use the Lambert series generating function for Euler's totient function to introduce a new identity for the number of $1$'s in the partitions of $n$. A new expansion for Euler's partition function $p(n)$ is derived in this context. These surprising new results connect the famous classical totient function from multiplicative number theory to the additive theory of partitions.

Visible Point Vector Partition Identities for Hyperpyramid Lattices
We set out an elementary approach to derive Visible Point Identities summed on lattice points of inverted triangle (2D), pyramid (3D), hyperpyramid (4D, 5D and so on) utilizing the greatest common divisor for the nD Visible Point Vectors. This enables study of partitions in nD space into vector parts distributed along straight lines radial from the origin in first hyperquadrant where coordinates of lattice points are all positive integers. We also give several new combinatorial identities for Visible Point Vector partitions.

Neighborly partitions, hypergraphs and Gordon's identities
We prove a family of partition identities which is "dual" to the family of Andrews-Gordon's identities. These identities are inspired by a correspondence between a special type of partitions and "hypergraphs" and their proof uses combinatorial commutative algebra.
