The extra slow Tamari lattice
We introduce the extra slow Tamari lattices, a new family of lattices defined on faithfully balanced tableaux. These tableaux arise naturally from the representation theory of type \( A \) quivers, and our construction extends the classical Tamari lattice and the slow Tamari lattice.
We explicitly describe meets and joins in the extra slow Tamari lattices, and then prove that they are lattices. We then show that they are semidistributive, trim, polygonal, and congruence uniform. Their join-irreducible elements are described in terms of a three-color analogue of the positive roots of type \( A \), which leads to descriptions of their spines and congruence lattices. We also obtain several enumerative results for the extra slow Tamari lattices and their associated structures. Finally, we derive new structural and enumerative results for the slow Tamari lattices.
Andrews--Gordon type identities with parity restrictions through particle motion
In this paper, we use the particle motion bijection introduced by Warnaar and developed by the two authors, Jouhet and Konan, to study q-series and partition identities of the Andrews--Gordon type with parity restrictions. These restrictions are of the type ``even (resp. odd) parts appear an even number of times". We prove $q$-series identities where a multisum equals a sum of products, which generalise identities of Andrews and Kim--Yee in a similar way that Stanton's identities generalised the Andrews--Gordon identities. As a consequence of our results, we obtain a simple proof of a recent identity of Chern--Li--Stanton--Xue--Yee related to Ariki--Koike algebras.
Grounded partitions of type $A_1^{(1)}$ at levels 1 and 2: bijections, affine crystal graphs, and partition identities
Grounded partitions, introduced by Dousse and Konan, are coloured partitions satisfying difference conditions given by a matrix with nonnegative integer entries. For the matrices studied in this paper, the generating functions are known to be infinite products, corresponding to the principal specialisation of characters of highest weight modules of type $A_1^{(1)}$. We give the first bijective proof that the generating functions of grounded partitions at level $2$ are infinite products. We then give a new combinatorial model for affine crystal graphs of type $A_1^{(1)}$ at level $2$, where the vertices are grounded partitions and the arrows are given by explicit bracketing rules. The grounded partition model for affine crystal graphs of highest weights $Λ_0$, $Λ_1$ and $Λ_0 + Λ_1$ gives rise to new $q$-series identities obtained by decomposing the affine crystal graphs into the crystal graphs of finite type $A_1$ via the restricted representation.
Andrews--Gordon and Stanton type identities: bijective and Bailey lemma approaches
In 2018, Stanton proved two types of generalisations of the celebrated Andrews--Gordon and Bressoud identities (in their $q$-series version): one with a similar shape to the original identities, and one involving binomial coefficients. In this paper, we give new proofs of these identities. For the non-binomial identities, we give bijective proofs using the original Andrews--Gordon and Bressoud identities as key ingredients. These proofs are based on particle motion introduced by Warnaar and extended by the first and third authors and Konan. For the binomial identities, we use the Bailey lemma and key lemmas of McLaughlin and Lovejoy, and the order in which we apply the different lemmas plays a central role in the result. We also give an alternative proof of the non-binomial identities using the Bailey lattice. With each of these proofs, new Stanton-type generalisations of classical identities arise naturally, such as generalisations of Kurşungöz's analogue of Bressoud's identity with opposite parity conditions, and of the Bressoud--Göllnitz--Gordon identities.
Hook-valued tableau uncrowding and tableau switching
Refined canonical stable Grothendieck polynomials were introduced by Hwang, Jang, Kim, Song, and Song. There exist two combinatorial models for these polynomials: one using hook-valued tableaux and the other using pairs of a semistandard Young tableau and (what we call) an exquisite tableau. An uncrowding algorithm on hook-valued tableaux was introduced by Pan, Pappe, Poh, and Schilling. In this paper, we discover a novel connection between the two models via the uncrowding and Goulden--Greene's jeu de taquin algorithms, using a classical result of Benkart, Sottile, and Stroomer on tableau switching. This connection reveals a symmetry of the uncrowding algorithm defined on hook-valued tableaux. As a corollary, we obtain another combinatorial model for the refined canonical stable Grothendieck polynomials in terms of biflagged tableaux, which naturally appear in the characterization of the image of the uncrowding map.
Combinatorics of orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle
Orthogonal polynomials on the unit circle (OPUC for short) are a family of polynomials whose orthogonality is given by integration over the unit circle in the complex plane. There are combinatorial studies on the moments of various types of orthogonal polynomials, including standard orthogonal polynomials, Laurent biorthogonal polynomials, and orthogonal polynomials of type \( R_I \). In this paper, we study the moments of OPUC from a combinatorial perspective. We provide three path interpretations for them: Łukasiewicz paths, gentle Motzkin paths, and Schröder paths. Additionally, using these combinatorial interpretations, we derive explicit formulas for the generalized moments of some examples of OPUC, including the circular Jacobi polynomials and the Rogers--Szegő polynomials. Furthermore, we introduce several kinds of generalized linearization coefficients and give combinatorial interpretations for them.
Refined canonical stable Grothendieck polynomials and their duals, Part 2
This paper is the sequel of the paper under the same title with part 1, where we introduced refined canonical stable Grothendieck polynomials and their duals with two families of infinite parameters. In this paper we give combinatorial interpretations for these polynomials using generalizations of set-valued tableaux and reverse plane partitions, respectively. Our results extend to their flagged and skew versions.
Kemeny's constant and enumerating Braess edges in trees
We study the problem of enumerating Braess edges for Kemeny's constant in trees. We obtain bounds and asympotic results for the number of Braess edges in some families of trees.

On trees of fixed order, we show a direct relation between Kemeny's constant and Wiener index, and provide a new formula of Kemeny's constant from the relation with a combinatorial interpretation. Moreover, the relation simplifies proofs of several known results for extremal trees in terms of Kemeny's constant for random walks on trees. Finally, we provide various families of co-Kemeny's mates, which are two non-isomorphic connected graphs with the same Kemeny's constant, and we also give a necessary condition for a tree to attain maximum Kemeny's constant for trees with fixed diameter.

If a sequence indexed by nonnegative integers satisfies a linear recurrence without constant terms, one can extend the indices of the sequence to negative integers using the recurrence. Recently, Cigler and Krattenthaler showed that the negative version of the number of bounded Dyck paths is the number of bounded alternating sequences. In this paper we provide two methods to compute the negative versions of sequences related to moments of orthogonal polynomials. We give a combinatorial model for the negative version of the number of bounded Motzkin paths. We also prove two conjectures of Cigler and Krattenthaler on reciprocity between determinants.

We introduce a new class of permutations, called web permutations. Using these permutations, we provide a combinatorial interpretation for entries of the transition matrix between the Specht and web bases, which answers Rhoades's question. Furthermore, we study enumerative properties of these permutations.

In this paper we introduce refined canonical stable Grothendieck polynomials and their duals with two infinite sequences of parameters. These polynomials unify several generalizations of Grothendieck polynomials including canonical stable Grothendieck polynomials due to Yeliussizov, refined Grothendieck polynomials due to Chan and Pflueger, and refined dual Grothendieck polynomials due to Galashin, Liu, and Grinberg. We give Jacobi--Trudi-like formulas, combinatorial models, Schur expansions, Schur positivity, and dualities of these polynomials.

Recently, Benedetti et al. introduced an Ehrhart-like polynomial associated to a graph. This polynomial is defined as the volume of a certain flow polytope related to a graph and has the property that the leading coefficient is the volume of the flow polytope of the original graph with net flow vector $(1,1,\dots,1)$. Benedetti et al. conjectured a formula for the Ehrhart-like polynomial of what they call a caracol graph. In this paper their conjecture is proved using constant term identities, labeled Dyck paths, and a cyclic lemma.
