$\vec M$ Versions of Andrews-Gordon Identities Revisited
In this paper, we revisit the work of Berkovich and Paule on variants of the Andrews-Gordon identities. We find a generalization of their principal polynomial identity and, as a consequence, obtain new $\vec M$ versions of the Andrews-Gordon identities. More precisely, for non-negative integers $M_1\ge M_2\ge M_3\ge\ldots\ge M_ν$, we show that a broad class of multi-sums of the form $$ \sum\limits_{\mathbf n} \frac{ q^{ N_1^2+\cdots+N_ν^2 - M_1N_1 - M_2N_2 - \cdots - M_νN_ν} }{ (q)_{n_1}(q)_{n_2}\cdots(q)_{n_ν} } $$ can be expressed as a sum of products. Above, we use standard notations for $q$-Pochhammer symbols and $N_i = \sum\limits_{k=i}^νn_k$ for $1\le i\le ν$.
Sign Patterns in a Two Colored Partition Companion series
We study two closely related questions arising from the recent work of Andrews and El Bachraoui on the two-color partition series \[ S_1(q)=\sum_{n\ge0}s_1(n)q^n=\sum_{a\ge0}q^a(-q^{a+1};q)_\infty^2 \] and its odd companion, denoted by $T_o(q)$. First, for the eta-normalized companion \[ C(q)=(q;q)_\infty T_o(q)=\sum_{n\ge0}c(n)q^n, \] we prove a strong form of the Andrews--El Bachraoui sign conjecture that $\limsup c(n)=+\infty$ and $\liminf c(n)=-\infty$. Second, we construct an involution using the Franklin-type involution of Chen and Liu to combinatorially explain Andrews--El Bachraoui congruence for $s_1(n)$ modulo 4.
Separable integer partition classes and Slater's list -- II
Slater's list of Rogers-Ramanujan type identities remains a central source of striking series-product formulas in the theory of partitions and basic hypergeometric series. Although many of these identities admit elegant analytic proofs through Bailey pairs, Bailey chains, or transformations of basic hypergeometric series, the partition-theoretic meaning of their series sides is often much less apparent. In this paper, which continues the program initiated in arXiv:2603.14179, we apply Andrews' theory of separable integer partition classes to further identities from Slater's list. We construct a strict overpartition class and two families of overpartitions with positional gap conditions, in which overlining is permitted only at alternating positions. Their multivariate generating functions give natural refinements of the series sides of Slater's identities (12), (28), (29), (47), (48), (50), and (51). We then use Heine-type transformations, a limiting form of Heine's transformations, Watson's $q$-analogue of Whipple's theorem, and classical theta-product identities to obtain alternative series representations and recover the associated products. In addition, we derive a new companion identity to a Slater identity and a signed companion formula. Our results further demonstrate that SIP classes provide a flexible framework for converting basic hypergeometric series into structured partition generating functions, while simultaneously producing refinements, transformations, and new Rogers-Ramanujan type identities.
Weighted partitions with interval restrictions: exact formulas and a bivariate master identity
Let $a_2''(n)$ and $b_2''(n)$ be the signed partition functions introduced by Andrews and El Bachraoui for interval-restricted partitions whose parts greater than $1$ are controlled by the smallest even part and by the number of ones. We prove two conjectures for these functions. The first gives the generating function for $a_2''(n)$ as an elementary rational term plus a false theta series with periodic signs; the second asserts that the companion coefficients $b_2''(n)$ take only the values $-1,0,1,2$. The central structural result introduces an auxiliary variable $z$ recording the number of non-compulsory parts greater than $1$. We obtain closed forms for the two resulting generating functions and prove the master identity $(1+q^2)\mathcal B(z,q)-(1+q)\mathcal A(z,q)=-q^4/(1-q^3)$ using both analytic and combinatorial techniques. At $z=-1$, this identity, together with a Rogers--Fine evaluation, gives the false theta formula for $a_2''(n)$ and an explicit generating function for $b_2''(n)$. The latter formula implies the asserted coefficient range and leads to an exact coefficient description of $b_2''(n)$. We also include a direct Heine--Rogers--Fine proof of the false theta formula, ordinary and fixed-refinement consequences of the master identity, and the resulting quantum modular interpretation.
Separable integer partition classes and Slater's list -- I
Slater's list of Rogers-Ramanujan type identities consists of 130 series-product identities whose analytic proofs rely primarily on Bailey pair techniques. Although these identities play an important role in the theory of $q$-series and partitions, combinatorial interpretations for many of them remain unknown, largely because the series sides are difficult to interpret naturally in terms of partitions. In this paper we apply Andrews' theory of separable integer partition (SIP) classes to several identities from Slater's list. By constructing suitable SIP classes, we obtain natural partition-theoretic interpretations and parameterized generalizations of their series sides. We then apply various $q$-hypergeometric transformations to these generalized series to derive alternative expressions, which in certain cases reduce to infinite products. These results illustrate how the SIP framework provides a systematic approach to understanding Rogers-Ramanujan type identities and offer new combinatorial insights into identities appearing in Slater's list.
Inequalities for the number of $t$-hooks in two partition classes arising from sum-product identities
Motivated by recent study on the number of $t$-hooks in partitions arising from Euler's partition identity, we investigate the number of $t$-hooks in the sets from the first Rogers-Ramanujan identity and the first little Göllitz identity. In particular, for $t=1,2$, we obtain the generating functions for the number of $t$-hooks and prove $t$-hook inequalities by deriving asymptotic formulas.
On Glaisher's Partition Theorem
Glaisher's theorem states that the number of partitions of $n$ into parts which repeat at most $m-1$ times is equal to the number of partitions of $n$ into parts which are not divisible by $m$. The $m=2$ case is Euler's famous partition theorem. Recently, Andrews, Kumar, and Yee gave two new partition functions $C(n)$ and $D(n)$ related to Euler's theorem. Lin and Zhang extended their result to Glaisher's theorem by generalizing $C(n)$. We generalize $D(n)$, prove an analogous partition identity for the $m=3$ case, and show that the general case is an example of an almost partition identity. We also provide a new series equal to Glaisher's product both in the finite and infinite cases.
Further Applications of Cubic $q$-Binomial Transformations
Consider \begin{align*} G(N,M;α,β,K,q) = \sum\limits_{j\in\mathbb{Z}}(-1)^jq^{\frac{1}{2}Kj((α+β)j+α-β)}\left[\begin{matrix}M+N\\N-Kj\end{matrix}\right]_{q}. \end{align*} In this paper, we prove the non-negativity of coefficients of some cases of $G(N,M;α,β,K,q)$. For instance, for non-negative integers $n$ and $t$, we prove that\\ \begin{align*} G\left(n,n;\frac{4}{3}+\frac{3(3^t-1)}{2},\frac{5}{3}+\frac{3(3^t-1)}{2},3^{t+1},q\right) \end{align*} and \begin{align*} G\left(n-\frac{3^t-1}{2},n+\frac{3^t+1}{2};\frac{8}{3}+2(3^t-1),\frac{4}{3}-(3^t-1),3^{t+1},q\right)\\ \end{align*} are polynomials in $q$ with non-negative coefficients. Using cubic positivity preserving transformations of Berkovich and Warnaar and some known formulae arising from Rogers-Szegö polynomials, we establish new identities such as\\ \begin{align*} \sum\limits_{0\le 3j\le n}\dfrac{(q^3;q^3)_{n-j-1}(1-q^{2n})q^{3j^2}}{(q;q)_{n-3j}(q^6;q^6)_{j}} = \sum\limits_{j=-\infty}^{\infty}(-1)^jq^{6j^2}{2n\brack n-3j}_q. \end{align*}
Finite analogs of partition bias related to hook length two and a variant of Sylvester's map
In this paper, we count the total number of hooks of length two in all odd partitions of $n$ and all distinct partitions of $n$ with a bound on the largest part of the partitions. We generalize inequalities of Ballantine, Burson, Craig, Folsom and Wen by showing there is a bias in the number of hooks of length two in all odd partitions over all distinct partitions of $n$ in presence of a bound on the largest part. To establish such a bias, we use a variant of Sylvester's map. Then, we conjecture a similar finite bias for a weighted count of hooks of length two and prove it when we remove the bound on the largest part.
On new minimal excludants of overpartitions related to some $q$-series of Ramanujan
Inspired by Andrews' and Newman's work on the minimal excludant or "mex" of partitions, we define four new classes of minimal excludants for overpartitions and establish relations to certain functions due to Ramanujan.

In this paper, we conjecture an extension to Bressoud's 1996 generalization of Borwein's famous 1990 conjecture. We then state a few infinite hierarchies of non-negative $q$-series identities which are interesting examples of our proposed conjecture and Bressoud's generalized conjecture. Finally, using certain positivity-preserving transformations for $q$-binomial coefficients, we prove the non-negativity of the infinite families.

In 2009, Berkovich and Garvan introduced a new partition statistic called the GBG-rank modulo $t$ which is a generalization of the well-known BG-rank. In this paper, we use the Littlewood decomposition of partitions to study partitions with bounded largest part and fixed integral value of GBG-rank modulo primes. As a consequence, we obtain new elegant generating function formulas for unrestricted partitions, self-conjugate partitions, and partitions whose parts repeat a finite number of times.
A bijective proof of an identity of Berkovich and Uncu
The BG-rank BG($π$) of an integer partition $π$ is defined as $$\text{BG}(π) := i-j$$ where $i$ is the number of odd-indexed odd parts and $j$ is the number of even-indexed odd parts of $π$. In a recent work, Fu and Tang ask for a direct combinatorial proof of the following identity of Berkovich and Uncu $$B_{2N+ν}(k,q)=q^{2k^2-k}\left[\begin{matrix}2N+ν\\N+k\end{matrix}\right]_{q^2}$$ for any integer $k$ and non-negative integer $N$ where $ν\in \{0,1\}$, $B_N(k,q)$ is the generating function for partitions into distinct parts less than or equal to $N$ with BG-rank equal to $k$ and $\left[\begin{matrix}a+b\\b\end{matrix}\right]_q$ is a Gaussian binomial coefficient. In this paper, we provide a bijective proof of Berkovich and Uncu's identity along the lines of Vandervelde and Fu and Tang's idea.

In a recent pioneering work, Andrews and Newman defined an extended function $p_{A,a}(n)$ of their minimal excludant or "mex" of a partition function. By considering the special cases $p_{k,k}(n)$ and $p_{2k,k}(n)$, they unearthed connections to the rank and crank of partitions and some restricted partitions. In this paper, we build on their work and obtain more general results associating the extended mex function with the number of partitions of an integer with arbitrary bound on the rank and crank. We also derive a new result expressing the smallest parts function of Andrews as a finite sum of the extended mex function in consideration with a curious coefficient. We also obtain a few restricted partition identities with some reminiscent of shifted partition identities. Finally, we define and explore a new minimal excludant for overpartitions.

In this paper, we first provide an analytic and a bijective proof of a formula stated by Vladeta Jovovic in the OEIS sequence A117989. We also provide a bijective proof of another interesting result stated by him on the same page concerning integer partitions with fixed differences between the largest and smallest parts.
