Arithmetic Properties Satisfied by a Recent Integer Partition Function of Dombos
In recent work of Dombos, the set of integer partitions of $n$ wherein the parts are either divisible by 4 or congruent to $\pm 1 \pmod{6}$ arose in a natural way. In this work, we will denote the function which counts the number of such partitions of $n$ by $dp(n)$. Using elementary generating function manipulations and classical $q$--series results, we prove several congruences satisfied by $dp(n)$. As an example, we prove that, for all $α\geq 1$ and all $n \geq 0$, \begin{equation*}
dp \left( 3^{2α+ 1}n + \frac{7 \cdot 9^α+ 1}{4} \right) \equiv 0 \pmod{3}. \end{equation*}
Extending Congruences for the number of smallest parts in overpartitions with smallest part even
In a recent paper, Jin, Liu, and Xia \cite{JLX} presented some modulo 4 congruences for $\overline{spt2}(n)$, the number of smallest parts in the overpartitions of $n$ where the smallest part is even and is not overlined. In this paper, we extend the list of such congruences in two directions. First, we prove some new individual congruences for $\overline{spt2}(n)$. Then, we provide a number of infinite families of Ramanujan-like congruences satisfied by $\overline{spt2}(n)$.

Recently, using modular forms and Smoot's {\tt Mathematica} implementation of Radu's algorithm for proving partition congruences, Merca proved the following two congruences: For all $n\geq 0,$ \begin{align*} A(9n+5) & \equiv 0 \pmod{3}, \\ A(27n+26) & \equiv 0 \pmod{3}. \end{align*} Here $A(n)$ is closely related to the function which counts the number of {\it cubic partitions}, partitions wherein the even parts are allowed to appear in two different colors. Indeed, $A(n)$ is defined as the difference between the number of cubic partitions of $n$ into an even numbers of parts and the number of cubic partitions of $n$ into an odd numbers of parts.
In this brief note, we provide elementary proofs of these two congruences via classical generating function manipulations. We then prove two infinite families of non--nested Ramanujan--like congruences modulo 3 satisfied by $A(n)$ wherein Merca's original two congruences serve as the initial members of each family.

In 2007, Andrews and Paule published the eleventh paper in their series on MacMahon's partition analysis, with a particular focus on broken $k$-diamond partitions. On the way to broken $k$-diamond partitions, Andrews and Paule introduced the idea of $k$-elongated partition diamonds. Recently, Andrews and Paule revisited the topic of $k$-elongated partition diamonds. Using partition analysis and the Omega operator, they proved that the generating function for the partition numbers $d_k(n)$ produced by summing the links of $k$-elongated plane partition diamonds of length $n$ is given by $\frac{(q^2;q^2)_\infty^k}{(q;q)_\infty^{3k+1}}$ for each $k\geq 1.$ A significant portion of their recent paper involves proving several congruence properties satisfied by $d_1, d_2$ and $d_3$, using modular forms as their primary proof tool. In this work, our goal is to extend some of the results proven by Andrews and Paule in their recent paper by proving infinitely many congruence properties satisfied by the functions $d_k$ for an infinite set of values of $k.$ The proof techniques employed are all elementary, relying on generating function manipulations and classical $q$-series results.

Recently Gordon and McIntosh introduced the third order mock theta function $ξ(q)$ defined by $$ ξ(q)=1+2\sum_{n=1}^{\infty}\frac{q^{6n^2-6n+1}}{(q;q^6)_{n}(q^5;q^6)_{n}}. $$ Our goal in this paper is to study arithmetic properties of the coefficients of this function. We present a number of such properties, including several infinite families of Ramanujan--like congruences.
New partition function recurrences
We present Euler-type recurrence relations for some partition functions. Some of our results provide new recurrences for the number of unrestricted partitions of $n$, denote by $p(n)$. Others establish recurrences for partition functions not yet considered.

In a recent paper, Andrews and Newman extended the mex-function to integer partitions and proved many partition identities connected with these functions. In this paper, we present parity considerations of one of the families of functions they studied, namely $p_{t,t}(n)$. Among our results, we provide complete parity characterizations of $p_{1,1}(n)$ and $p_{3,3}(n)$.
New Identities from a Combinatorial Approach to Generalized Fibonacci and Generalized Lucas Numbers
We present here some new identities for generalizations of Fibonacci and Lucas numbers by combinatorially interpreting these numbers in terms of numbers of certain tilings of a $1 \times m$ board. As a consequence, some new interesting identities involving the ordinaries Fibonacci and Lucas numbers are derived.
