A short proof of Kahn-Kalai conjecture
In a recent paper, Park and Pham famously proved Kahn-Kalai conjecture. In this note, we simplify their proof, using an induction to replace the original analysis. This reduces the proof to one page, and from the argument it is also easy to read that one can set the constant $K$ in the conjecture to $\approx 3.998$, which could be the best value under the current method. Our argument also applies to the $ε$-version of Park-Pham result, studied by Bell.
On the permanent of random Bernoulli matrices

We show that the permanent of an $n \times n$ matrix with iid Bernoulli entries $\pm 1$ is of magnitude $n^{({1/2}+o(1))n}$ with probability $1-o(1)$. In particular, it is almost surely non-zero.
Factors in random graphs

Let $H$ be a fixed graph on $v$ vertices. For an $n$-vertex graph $G$ with $n$ divisible by $v$, an $H$-{\em factor} of $G$ is a collection of $n/v$ copies of $H$ whose vertex sets partition $V(G)$.
In this paper we consider the threshold $th_{H} (n)$ of the property that an Erdős-Rényi random graph (on $n$ points) contains an $H$-factor. Our results determine $th_{H} (n)$ for all strictly balanced $H$.
The method here extends with no difficulty to hypergraphs. As a corollary, we obtain the threshold for a perfect matching in random $k$-uniform hypergraph, solving the well-known "Shamir's problem."

In this survey, we discuss some basic problems concerning random matrices with discrete distributions. Several new results, tools and conjectures will be presented.
Long arithmetic progressions in sumsets: Thresholds and Bounds
For a set $A$ of integers, the sumset $lA =A+...+A$ consists of those numbers which can be represented as a sum of $l$ elements of $A$
$$lA =\{a_1+... a_l| a_i \in A_i \}. $$
A closely related and equally interesting notion is that of $l^{\ast}A$, which is the collection of numbers which can be represented as a sum of $l$ different elements of $A$
$$l^{\ast} A =\{a_1+... a_l| a_i \in A_i, a_i \neq a_j \}. $$
The goal of this paper is to investigate the structure of $lA$ and $l^{\ast}A$, where $A$ is a subset of $\{1,2, ..., n\}$. As applications, we solve two conjectures by Erdös and Folkman, posed in sixties.
Olson's theorem for cyclic groups
Let $n$ be a large number. A subset $A$ of $Z_n$ is complete if $S_A = Z_n$, where $S_A$ is the collection of the subset sums of $A$. Olson proved that if $n$ is a prime and $|A|> 2n^{1/2} $, then $S_A$ is complete. We show that a similar result for the case when $n$ is a composite number, using a different approach.
