Turán Colourings in Off-Diagonal Ramsey Multiplicity
The \emph{Ramsey multiplicity constant} of a graph $H$ is the limit as $n$ tends to infinity of the minimum density of monochromatic labeled copies of $H$ in a $2$-edge colouring of $K_n$. Fox and Wigderson recently identified a large family of graphs whose Ramsey multiplicity constants are attained by sequences of ``Turán colourings''; i.e. colourings in which one of the colour classes forms the edge set of a balanced complete multipartite graph. Each graph in their family comes from taking a connected non-3-colourable graph with a critical edge and adding many pendant edges. We extend their result to an off-diagonal variant of the Ramsey multiplicity constant which involves minimizing a weighted sum of red copies of one graph and blue copies of another.

A graph is called "Laplacian integral" if the eigenvalues of its Laplacian matrix are all integers. We investigate the subset of these graphs whose Laplacian is furthermore diagonalized by a matrix with entries coming from a fixed set, in particular, the sets $\{-1,0,1\}$ or $\{-1,1\}$. Such graphs include as special cases the recently-investigated families of "Hadamard-diagonalizable" and "weakly Hadamard-diagonalizable" graphs. As a combinatorial tool to aid in our investigation, we introduce a family of vectors that we call "balanced", which generalizes totally balanced partitions, regular sequences, and complete partitions. We show that balanced vectors completely characterize which graph complements and complete multipartite graphs are $\{-1,0,1\}$-diagonalizable, and we furthermore prove results on diagonalizability of the Cartesian product, disjoint union, and join of graphs. Particular attention is paid to the $\{-1,0,1\}$- and $\{-1,1\}$-diagonalizability of the complete graphs and complete multipartite graphs. Finally, we provide a complete list of all simple, connected graphs on nine or fewer vertices that are $\{-1,0,1\}$- or $\{-1,1\}$-diagonalizable.
Distance-regular Cayley graphs over $\mathbb{Z}_{p^s}\oplus\mathbb{Z}_{p}$
In [Distrance-regular Cayley graphs on dihedral groups, J. Combin. Theory Ser B 97 (2007) 14--33], Miklavič and Potočnik proposed the problem of characterizing distance-regular Cayley graphs, which can be viewed as an extension of the problem of identifying strongly regular Cayley graphs, or equivalently, regular partial difference sets. In this paper, all distance-regular Cayley graphs over $\mathbb{Z}_{p^s}\oplus\mathbb{Z}_{p}$ with $p$ being an odd prime are determined. It is shown that every such graph is isomorphic to a complete graph, a complete multipartite graph, or the line graph of a transversal design $TD(r,p)$ with $2\leq r\leq p-1$.
Induced paths in strongly regular graphs
This paper studies induced paths in strongly regular graphs. We give an elementary proof that a strongly regular graph contains a path $P_4$ as an induced subgraph if and only if it is primitive, i.e. it is neither a complete multipartite graph nor its complement. Also, we investigate when a strongly regular graph has an induced subgraph isomorphic to $P_5$ or its complement, considering several well-known families including Johnson and Kneser graphs, Hamming graphs, Latin square graphs, and block-intersection graphs of Steiner triple systems.

For simple graphs $X$ and $Y$ on $n$ vertices, the friends-and-strangers graph $\mathsf{FS}(X,Y)$ is the graph whose vertex set consists of all bijections $σ: V(X) \to V(Y)$, where two bijections $σ$ and $σ'$ are adjacent if and only if they agree on all but two adjacent vertices $a, b \in V(X)$ such that $σ(a), σ(b) \in V(Y)$ are adjacent in $Y$. Resolving a conjecture of Wang, Lu, and Chen, we completely characterize the connectedness of $\mathsf{FS}(X, Y)$ when $Y$ is a complete bipartite graph. We further extend this result to when $Y$ is a complete multipartite graph. We also determine when $\mathsf{FS}(X, Y)$ has exactly two connected components where $X$ is bipartite and $Y$ is a complete bipartite graph.
Strictly $k$-colorable graphs
Xuding Zhu introduced a refined scale of choosability in 2020 and observed that the four color theorem is tight on this scale. We formalize and explore this idea of tightness in what we call strictly colorable graphs. We then characterize all strictly colorable complete multipartite graphs.
Extreme and statistical properties of eigenvalue indices of simple connected graphs
We analyze graphs attaining the extreme values of various spectral indices in the class of all simple connected graphs, as well as in the class of graphs which are not complete multipartite graphs. We also present results on density of spectral gap indices and its nonpersistency with respect to small perturbations of the underlying graph. We show that a small change in the set set of edges may result in a significant change of the spectral index like, e.g., the spectral gap or spectral index. We also present a statistical and numerical analysis of spectral indices of graphs of the order $m\le 10$. We analyze the extreme values for spectral indices for graphs and their small perturbations. Finally, we present the statistical and extreme properties of graphs on $m\le 10$ vertices.
The robust chromatic number of certain graph classes
A 1-selection $f$ of a graph $G$ is a function $f: V(G)\rightarrow E(G)$ such that $f(v)$ is incident to $v$ for every vertex $v$. The 1-removed $G_f$ is the graph $(V(G),E(G)\setminus f[V(G)])$. The (1-)robust chromatic number $χ_1(G)$ is the minimum of $χ(G_f)$ over all 1-selections $f$ of $G$.
We determine the robust chromatic number of complete multipartite graphs and Kneser graphs and prove tight lower and upper bounds on the robust chromatic number of chordal graphs and some of their extensively studied subclasses, with respect to their ordinary chromatic number.
Integral Cayley graphs of symmetric groups on transpositions
We study subsets $T$ consisting of some transpositions $(i,j)$ of the symmetric group $S_n$ on $\{1,\dots,n\}$ such that the Cayley graph $Γ_T:=Cay(S_n,T)$ is an integral graph, i.e., all eigenvalues of an adjacency matrix of $Γ_T$ are integers. Graph properties of $Γ_T$ are determined in terms of ones of the graph $G_T$ whose vertex set is $\{1,\dots,n\}$ and $\{i,j\}$ is an edge if and only if $(i,j)\in T$. Here we prove that if $G_T$ is a tree then $Γ_T$ is integral if and only if $T$ is isomorphic to the star graph $K_{1,n-1}$, answering Problem 5 of [Electron. J. Comnin., 29(2) (2022) \# P2.9]. Problem 6 of the latter article asks to find necessary and sufficient conditions on $T$ for integralness of $Cay(S_n,T)$ without any further assumption on $T$. We show that if $G_T$ is a graph which we call it a ``generalized complete multipartite graph" then $Cay(S_n,T)$ is integral. We conjecture that $Cay(S_n,T)$ is integral only if $G_T$ is a generalized complete multipartitie graph. To support the latter conjecture we show its validity whenever $G_T$ is some classes of graphs including cycles and cubic graphs.

We define the $k$-cut complex of a graph $G$ with vertex set $V(G)$ to be the simplicial complex whose facets are the complements of sets of size $k$ in $V(G)$ inducing disconnected subgraphs of $G$. This generalizes the Alexander dual of a graph complex studied by Fröberg (1990), and Eagon and Reiner (1998). We describe the effect of various graph operations on the cut complex, and study its shellability, homotopy type and homology for various families of graphs, including trees, cycles, complete multipartite graphs, and the prism $K_n \times K_2$, using techniques from algebraic topology, discrete Morse theory and equivariant poset topology.
The Game Chromatic Number of Complete Multipartite Graphs with No Singletons
In this paper we investigate the game chromatic number for complete multipartite graphs. We devise several strategies for Alice, and one strategy for Bob, and we prove their optimality in all complete multipartite graphs with no singletons. All the strategies presented are computable in linear time, and the values of the game chromatic number depend directly only on the number and the sizes of sets in the partition.
Alon-Tarsi Number of Some Regular Graphs
The Alon-Tarsi number of a polynomial is a parameter related to the exponents of its monomials. For graphs, their Alon-Tarsi number is the Alon-Tarsi number of their graph polynomials. As such, it provides an upper bound on their choice and online choice numbers. In this paper, we obtain the Alon-Tarsi number of some complete multipartite graphs, line graphs of some complete graphs of even order, and line graphs of some other regular graphs.
Stability from graph symmetrization arguments in generalized Turán problems
Given graphs $H$ and $F$, $\mathrm{ex}(n,H,F)$ denotes the largest number of copies of $H$ in $F$-free $n$-vertex graphs. Let $χ(H)<χ(F)=r+1$. We say that $H$ is $F$-Turán-stable if the following holds. For any $\varepsilon>0$ there exists $δ>0$ such that if an $n$-vertex $F$-free graph $G$ contains at least $\mathrm{ex}(n,H,F)-δn^{|V(H)|}$ copies of $H$, then the edit distance of $G$ and the $r$-partite Turán graph is at most $\varepsilon n^2$. We say that $H$ is weakly $F$-Turán-stable if the same holds with the Turán graph replaced by any complete $r$-partite graph $T$. It is known that such stability implies exact results in several cases. We show that complete multipartite graphs with chromatic number at most $r$ are weakly $K_{r+1}$-Turán-stable. Answering a question of Morrison, Nir, Norin, Rzażewski and Wesolek positively, we show that for every graph $H$, if $r$ is large enough, then $H$ is $K_{r+1}$-Turán-stable. Finally, we prove that if $H$ is bipartite, then it is weakly $C_{2k+1}$-Turán-stable for $k$ large enough.
Polarity on $H$-split graphs
Given nonnegative integers, $s$ and $k$, an $(s,k)$-polar partition of a graph $G$ is a partition $(A,B)$ of $V_G$ such that $G[A]$ and $\overline{G[B]}$ are complete multipartite graphs with at most $s$ and $k$ parts, respectively. If $s$ or $k$ is replaced by $\infty$, it means that there is no restriction on the number of parts of $G[A]$ or $\overline{G[B]}$, respectively. A graph admitting a $(1,1)$-polar partition is usually called a split graph.
In this work, we present some results related to $(s,k)$-polar partitions on two graph classes generalizing split graphs. Our main results include efficient algorithms to decide whether a graph on these classes admits an $(s,k)$-polar partition, as well as upper bounds for the order of minimal $(s,k)$-polar obstructions on such graph families for any $s$ and $k$ (even if $s$ or $k$ is $\infty$).
A note on topological indices and the twin classes of graphs
Topological indices are parameters associated with graphs that have many applications in different areas such as mathematical chemistry. Among various topological indices, the Wiener index is classical \cite{w}. In this paper, we prove a formula for the Wiener index and more general $m$-Steiner Wiener index of an arbitrary graph $G$ in terms of the cardinalities of its twin classes. In particular, we will show that calculating these parameters for the graph $G$ can be reduced to calculating the same for a much smaller graph (in general) called the reduced graph of $G$.
As applications of our main result, the $m$-Steiner Wiener index is explicitly calculated for various important classes of graphs from the literature including
\begin{enumerate}
\item[(a)] Power graphs associated with finite groups,
\item[(b)] Zero divisor graphs and the ideal-based zero divisor graphs associated with commutative rings with unity, and
\item[(c)] Comaximal ideal graphs associated with commutative rings with unity. \end{enumerate} We have also found an upper bound on the $m$-Steiner Wiener index of an infinite class of graphs called the completely joined graphs. As a corollary of this result, we explicitly calculate the $m$-Steiner Wiener index of the complete multipartite graphs.
Polynomial bounds for chromatic number VIII. Excluding a path and a complete multipartite graph
We prove that for every path H, and every integer d, there is a polynomial f such that every graph G with chromatic number greater than f(t) either contains H as an induced subgraph, or contains as a subgraph the complete d-partite graph with parts of cardinality t. For t = 1 and general d this is a classical theorem of Gyárfás, and for d = 2 and general t this is a theorem of Bonamy et al.
A Jump of the Saturation Number in Random Graphs?
For graphs $G$ and $F$, the saturation number $\textit{sat}(G,F)$ is the minimum number of edges in an inclusion-maximal $F$-free subgraph of $G$. In 2017, Korándi and Sudakov initiated the study of saturation in random graphs. They showed that for constant $p\in (0,1)$, whp $\textit{sat}\left(G(n,p),K_s\right)=\left(1+o(1)\right)n\log_{\frac{1}{1-p}}n$.
We show that for every graph $F$ and every constant $p\in (0,1)$, whp $\textit{sat}\left(G(n,p), F\right)=O(n\ln n)$. Furthermore, if every edge of $F$ belongs to a triangle, then the above is the right asymptotic order of magnitude, that is, whp $\textit{sat}\left(G(n,p),F\right)=Θ(n\ln n)$. We further show that for a large family of graphs $\mathcal{F}$ with an edge that does not belong to a triangle, which includes all the bipartite graphs, for every $F\in \mathcal{F}$ and constant $p\in(0,1)$, whp $\textit{sat}\left(G(n,p),F\right)=O(n)$. We conjecture that this sharp transition from $O(n)$ to $Θ(n\ln n)$ depends only on this property, that is, that for any graph $F$ with at least one edge that does not belong to a triangle, whp $\textit{sat}\left(G(n,p),F\right)=O(n)$.
We further generalise the result of Korándi and Sudakov, and show that for a more general family of graphs $\mathcal{F}'$, including all complete graphs $K_s$ and all complete multipartite graphs of the form $K_{1,1,s_3,\ldots, s_{\ell}}$, for every $F\in \mathcal{F}'$ and every constant $p\in(0,1)$, whp $\textit{sat}\left(G(n,p),F\right)=\left(1+o(1)\right)n\log_{\frac{1}{1-p}}n$. Finally, we show that for every complete multipartite graph $K_{s_1, s_2, \ldots, s_{\ell}}$ and every $p\in \left[\frac{1}{2},1\right)$, $\textit{sat}\left(G(n,p),K_{s_1,s_2,\ldots,s_{\ell}}\right)=\left(1+o(1)\right)n\log_{\frac{1}{1-p}}n$.
Encoding and Enumerating Acyclic Orientations of Graphs
In this work we study the acyclic orientations of graphs. We obtain an encoding of the acyclic orientations of the complete $p$-partite graph with size of its parts $n_1,n_2,\ldots,n_p$ via a vector with $p$ symbols and length $n=n_1+n_2+\ldots+n_p$ when the parts are fixed but not the vertices in each part. We also give a recursive way to construct all acyclic orientations of a complete multipartite graph, this construction can be done by computer easily in order $\mathcal{O}(n)$. Furthermore, we obtain a closed formula for non-isomorphic acyclic orientations of both the complete multipartite graphs and the complete multipartite graphs with a directed spanning tree. Moreover, we obtain a closed formula for the number of acyclic orientations of a complete multipartite graph $K_{n_1,\ldots,n_p}$ with labelled vertices. Finally, we obtain a way encode all acyclic orientations of an arbitrary graph as a permutation code. Using the codification mentioned above we obtain sharp upper and lower bounds of the number of acyclic orientations of a graph.

A graph is a $k$-threshold graph with thresholds $θ_1, θ_2, \dots, θ_k$ if we can assign a real number $r_v$ to each vertex $v$ such that for any two distinct vertices $u$ and $v$, $uv$ is an edge if and only if the number of thresholds not exceeding $r_u+r_v$ is odd. The threshold number of a graph is the smallest $k$ for which it is a $k$-threshold graph. Multithreshold graphs were introduced by Jamison and Sprague as a generalization of classical threshold graphs. They asked for the exact threshold numbers of complete multipartite graphs. Recently, Chen and Hao solved the problem for complete multipartite graphs where each part is not too small, and they asked for the case when each part has size $3$. We determine the exact threshold numbers of $K_{3, 3, \dots, 3}$, $K_{4, 4, \dots, 4}$ and their complements $nK_3$, $nK_4$. This improves a result of Puleo.

A subset $I$ of the vertex set $V(G)$ of a graph $G$ is called a $k$-clique independent set of $G$ if no $k$ vertices in $I$ form a $k$-clique of $G$. An independent set is a $2$-clique independent set. Let $π_k(G)$ denote the number of $k$-cliques of $G$. For a function $w: V(G) \rightarrow \{0, 1, 2, \dots\}$, let $G(w)$ be the graph obtained from $G$ by replacing each vertex $v$ by a $w(v)$-clique $K^v$ and making each vertex of $K^u$ adjacent to each vertex of $K^v$ for each edge $\{u,v\}$ of $G$. For an integer $m \geq 1$, consider any $w$ with $\sum_{v \in V(G)} w(v) = m$. For $U \subseteq V(G)$, we say that $w$ is uniform on $U$ if $w(v) = 0$ for each $v \in V(G) \setminus U$ and, for each $u \in U$, $w(u) = \left\lfloor m/|U| \right\rfloor$ or $w(u) = \left\lceil m/|U| \right\rceil$. Katona asked if $π_k(G(w))$ is smallest when $w$ is uniform on a largest $k$-clique independent set of $G$. He placed particular emphasis on the Sperner graph $B_n$, given by $V(B_n) = \{X \colon X \subseteq \{1, \dots, n\}\}$ and $E(B_n) = \{\{X,Y\} \colon X \subsetneq Y \in V(B_n)\}$. He provided an affirmative answer for $k = 2$ (and any $G$). We determine graphs for which the answer is negative for every $k \geq 3$. These include $B_n$ for $n \geq 2$. Generalizing Sperner's Theorem and a recent result of Qian, Engel and Xu, we show that $π_k(B_n(w))$ is smallest when $w$ is uniform on a largest independent set of $B_n$. We also show that the same holds for complete multipartite graphs and chordal graphs. We show that this is not true of every graph, using a deep result of Bohman on triangle-free graphs.
