On integer partitions corresponding to numerical semigroups
Numerical semigroups are cofinite additive submonoids of the natural numbers. In 2011, Keith and Nath illustrated an injection from numerical semigroups to integer partitions. We explore this connection between partitions and numerical semigroups with a focus on classifying the partitions that appear in the image of the injection from numerical semigroups. In particular, we count the number of partitions that correspond to numerical semigroups in terms of genus, Frobenius number, and multiplicity, with some restrictions.
On the positivity of infinite products connected to partitions with even parts below odd parts and copartitions

In this paper, we give a combinatorial proof of a positivity result of Chern related to Andrews's $\mathcal{EO}^*$-type partitions. This combinatorial proof comes after reframing Chern's result in terms of copartitions. Using this new perspective, we also reprove an overpartition result of Chern by showing that it comes essentially "for free" from our combinatorial proof and some basic properties of copartitions. Finally, the application of copartitions leads us to more general positivity conjectures for families of both infinite and finite products, with a proof in one special case.
Mock theta functions and related combinatorics

In this paper we add to the literature on the combinatorial nature of the mock theta functions, a collection of curious $q$-hypergeometric series introduced by Ramanujan in his last letter to Hardy in 1920, which we now know to be important examples of mock modular forms. Our work is inspired by Beck's conjecture, now a theorem of Andrews, related to Euler's identity: the excess of the number of parts in all partitions of $n$ into odd parts over the number of partitions of $n$ into distinct parts is equal to the number of partitions with only one (possibly repeated) even part and all other parts odd. We establish Beck-type identities associated to partition identities due to Andrews, Dixit, and Yee for the third order mock theta functions $ω(q), ν(q)$, and $φ(q)$. Our proofs are both analytic and combinatorial in nature, and involve mock theta generating functions and combinatorial bijections.

We develop the theory of copartitions, which are a generalization of partitions with connections to many classical topics in partition theory, including Rogers-Ramanujan partitions, theta functions, mock theta functions, partitions with parts separated by parity, and crank statistics. Using both analytic and combinatorial methods, we give two forms of the three-parameter generating function, and we study several special cases that demonstrate the potential broader impact the study of copartitions may have.
On a Partition Identity of Lehmer

Euler's identity equates the number of partitions of any non-negative integer n into odd parts and the number of partitions of n into distinct parts. Beck conjectured and Andrews proved the following companion to Euler's identity: the excess of the number of parts in all partitions of n into odd parts over the number of parts in all partitions of n into distinct parts equals the number of partitions of n with exactly one even part (possibly repeated). Beck's original conjecture was followed by generalizations and so-called "Beck-type" companions to other identities.
In this paper, we establish a collection of Beck-type companion identities to the following result mentioned by Lehmer at the 1974 International Congress of Mathematicians: the excess of the number of partitions of n with an even number of even parts over the number of partitions of n with an odd number of even parts equals the number of partitions of n into distinct, odd parts. We also establish various generalizations of Lehmer's identity, and prove related Beck-type companion identities. We use both analytic and combinatorial methods in our proofs.
Refined counting of core partitions into $d$-distinct parts

Using a combinatorial bijection with certain abaci diagrams, Nath and Sellers have enumerated $(s, m s \pm 1)$-core partitions into distinct parts. We generalize their result in several directions by including the number of parts of these partitions, by considering $d$-distinct partitions, and by allowing more general $(s, m s \pm r)$-core partitions. As an application of our approach, we obtain the average and maximum number of parts of these core partitions.
