Characterization of order structures avoiding three-term arithmetic progressions
It is known that the set of all nonnegative integers may be equipped with a total order that is chaotic in the sense that there is no monotone three-term arithmetic progressions. Such chaotic order must be so complicated that the resulting ordered set cannot be order isomorphic to the set of all nonnegative integers or the set of all integers with the standard order. In this paper, we completely characterize order structures of chaotic orders on the set of all nonnegative integers, as well as on the set of all integers and on the set of all rational numbers.
Bijective enumerations for symmetrized poly-Bernoulli polynomials
Published • View PublicationBIB
Recently, Bényi and the second author introduced two combinatorial interpretations for symmetrized poly-Bernoulli polynomials. In the present study, we construct bijections between these combinatorial objects. We also define various combinatorial polynomials and prove that all of these polynomials coincide with symmetrized poly-Bernoulli polynomials.
Ohno type relations for classical and finite multiple zeta-star values
Published • View PublicationBIB
Ohno's relation is a generalization of both the sum formula and the duality formula for multiple zeta values. Oyama gave a similar relation for finite multiple zeta values, defined by Kaneko and Zagier. In this paper, we prove relations of similar nature for both multiple zeta-star values and finite multiple zeta-star values. Our proof for multiple zeta-star values uses the linear part of Kawashima's relation.

Algebraic differential formulas for the shuffle, stuffle and duality relations of iterated integrals
Published • View PublicationBIB
In this paper we prove certain algebraic identities, which correspond to differentiations of the shuffle relation, the stuffle relation, and the relations which arise from Möbius transformations of iterated integrals. These formulas provide fundamental and useful tools in the study of iterated integrals on a punctured projective line.
