Representation Theoretic Bases for the $Δ$-Springer Module
We give a descent monomial basis of $Δ$-Springer modules $R_{n,λ,s}$, first defined by Griffin. Our construction simultaneously generalizes the descent basis for the Garsia-Procesi module $R_λ$ studied by Carlsson-Chou and Hanada, as well as the descent basis for the generalized coinvariant algebras $R_{n,k}$ studied by Haglund-Rhoades-Shimozono. This basis is deeply connected with a combinatorial object called battery-powered tableaux, introduced by Gillespie-Griffin. We highlight the representation theoretic properties of this monomial basis by using it to give a direct combinatorial proof of the graded Frobenius character of $R_{n,λ,s}$ in terms of battery-powered tableaux, a fact which has only the geometric proof of Gillespie-Griffin.
We also conjecture a higher Specht basis of $R_{n,λ,s}$, generalizing the higher Specht basis of the coinvariant ring defined in Ariki-Terasoma-Yamada. This construction coincides with the Gillespie-Rhoades higher Specht basis for $R_{n,k}$. We give a proof for when $λ= (λ_1,λ_2)$ is a partition of two rows.
A charge monomial basis of the Garsia-Procesi ring
We construct a basis of the Garsia-Procesi ring using the catabolizability type of standard Young tableaux and the charge statistic. This basis turns out to be equal to the descent basis defined in Carlsson-Chou (2024+). Our new construction connects the combinatorics of the basis with the well-known combinatorial formula for the modified Hall-Littlewood polynomials $\tilde{H}_μ[X;q]$, due to Lascoux, which expresses the polynomials as a sum over standard tableaux that satisfy a catabolizability condition. In addition, we prove that identifying a basis for the antisymmetric part of $R_μ$ with respect to a Young subgroup $S_γ$ is equivalent to finding pairs of standard tableaux that satisfy conditions regarding catabolizability and descents. This gives an elementary proof of the fact that the graded Frobenius character of $R_μ$ is given by the catabolizability formula for $\tilde{H}_μ[X;q]$.
Polyhedral geometry of refined $q,t$-Catalan numbers
We study a refinement of the $q,t$-Catalan numbers introduced by Xin and Zhang (2022, 2023) using tools from polyhedral geometry. These refined $q,t$-Catalan numbers depend on a vector of parameters $\vec{k}$ and the classical $q,t$-Catalan numbers are recovered when $\vec{k} = (1,\ldots,1)$. We interpret Xin and Zhang's generating functions by developing polyhedral cones arising from constraints on $\vec{k}$-Dyck paths and their associated area and bounce statistics. Through this polyhedral approach, we recover Xin and Zhang's theorem on $q,t$-symmetry of the refined $q,t$-Catalan numbers in the cases where $\vec{k} = (k_1,k_2,k_3)$ and $(k,k,k,k)$, give some extensions, including the case $\vec{k} = (k,k+m,k+m,k+m)$, and discuss relationships to other generalizations of the $q,t$-Catalan numbers.

A classical parking function of length $n$ is a list of positive integers $(a_1, a_2, \ldots, a_n)$ whose nondecreasing rearrangement $b_1 \leq b_2 \leq \cdots \leq b_n$ satisfies $b_i \leq i$. The convex hull of all parking functions of length $n$ is an $n$-dimensional polytope in $\mathbb{R}^n$, which we refer to as the classical parking function polytope. Its geometric properties have been explored in (Amanbayeva and Wang 2022) in response to a question posed in (Stanley 2020). We generalize this family of polytopes by studying the geometric properties of the convex hull of $\mathbf{x}$-parking functions for $\mathbf{x}=(a,b,\dots,b)$, which we refer to as $\mathbf{x}$-parking function polytopes. We explore connections between these $\mathbf{x}$-parking function polytopes, the Pitman-Stanley polytope, and the partial permutahedra of (Heuer and Striker 2022). In particular, we establish a closed-form expression for the volume of $\mathbf{x}$-parking function polytopes. This allows us to answer a conjecture of (Behrend et al. 2022) and also obtain a new closed-form expression for the volume of the convex hull of classical parking functions as a corollary.
