Large deviation principles for pattern-avoiding permutations, and limit shapes for constrained Mallows permutations
We study Mallows random permutations conditioned to avoid a given pattern $α$ of length~$3$. When the bias parameter is of the form $e^{β/n}$, we prove that these permutations converge to a non-trivial explicit deterministic permuton that depends on the pattern $α$ and on the parameter $β$. Along the way, we provide parametrizations for $α$-avoiding permutons, and establish a large deviation principle for uniform $α$-avoiding permutations. As a byproduct of the proof, we also obtain asymptotic estimates of two versions of $q$-Catalan numbers in the regime $q=e^{β/n}$.
Asymptotic normality of pattern counts in conjugacy classes
We prove, under mild conditions on fixed points and two cycles, the asymptotic normality of vincular pattern counts for a permutation chosen uniformly at random in a conjugacy class.Additionally, we prove that the limiting variance is always non-degenerate for classical pattern counts. The proof uses weighted dependency graphs.
About universality of large deviation principles for conjugacy invariant permutations
We prove the universality of the large deviations for conjugacy invariant permutations with few cycles. As an application, we establish the universality of large deviation at speeds $n$ and $\sqrt{n}$ for the length of monotone subsequences in conjugacy invariant permutations, with a sharp control over the total number of cycles. This universality class includes the well-known Ewens measures.
A note on monotone subsequences and the RS image of invariant random permutations with macroscopic number of fixed points
The work of Vershik and Kerov [1977], Logan and Shepp [1977] established that the shape of the scaled random young diagram in Russian notation, as determined by the Plancherel measure, converges to a deterministic shape. In this article, we focus on the scenario where the number of fixed points is substantial. We provide evidence that, subject to specific requirements on the total number of cycles, the limiting shape is a scaled version of the Vershik-Kerov-Logan-Shepp limiting shape. Additionally, we identify certain limiting regimes that resemble those in Chapuy, Louf, and Walsh [2022]. Furthermore, we enhance the existing results on Tracy-Widom universality classes for $β\in \{ 1, 2, 4\}$ for monotone subsequences.
Small cycle structure for words in conjugation invariant random permutations

We study the cycle structure of words in several random permutations. We assume that the permutations are independent and that their distribution is conjugation invariant, with a good control on their short cycles. If, after successive cyclic simplifications, the word w still contains at least two different letters, then we get a universal limiting joint law for small cycles for the word in these permutations. These results can be seen as an extension of our previous work [Kammoun and Maïda, 2020] from the product of permutations to any non-trivial word in the permutations and also as an extension of the results of [Nica, 1994] from uniform permutations to general conjugation invariant random permutations.

We present some Markovian approaches to prove universality results for some functions on the symmetric group. Some of those statistics are already studied in [Kammoun, 2018, 2020] but not the general case. We prove, in particular, that the number of occurrences of a vincular patterns satisfies a CLT for conjugation invariant random permutations with few cycles and we improve the results already known for the longest increasing subsequence. The second approach is a suggestion of a generalization to other random permutations and other sets having a similar structure than the symmetric group.

We use moment method to understand the cycle structure of the composition of independent invariant permutations. We prove that under a good control on fixed points and cycles of length 2, the limiting joint distribution of the number of small cycles is the same as in the uniform case i.e. for any positive integer k, the number of cycles of length k converges to the Poisson distribution with parameter 1/k and is asymptotically independent of the number of cycles of length k' different from k.

Bukh and Zhou conjectured that the expectation of the length of the longest common subsequence of two i.i.d random permutations of size $n$ is greater than $\sqrt{n}$. We prove in this paper that there exists a universal constant $n_1$ such that their conjecture is satisfied for any pair of i.i.d random permutations of size greater than $n_1$ with distribution invariant under conjugation.
We prove also that asymptotically, this expectation is at least of order $2\sqrt{n}$ which is the asymptotic behaviour of the uniform setting. More generally, in the case where the laws of the two permutations are not necessarily the same, we gibe a lower bound for the expectation. In particular, we prove that if one of the permutations is invariant under conjugation and with a good control of the expectation of the number of its cycles, the limiting fluctuations of the length of the longest common subsequence are of Tracy-Widom type. This result holds independently of the law of the second permutation.

It is known from the work of Baik, Deift, and Johansson [1999] that we have Tracy-Widom fluctuations for the longest increasing subsequence of uniform permutations. In this paper, we prove that this result holds also in the case of the Ewens distribution and more generally for a class of random permutation with distribution invariant under conjugation. Moreover, we obtain the convergence of the first components of the associated Young tableaux to the Airy Ensemble as well as the global convergence to the Vershik-Kerov-Logan-Shepp shape. Using similar techniques, we also prove that the limiting descent process of a large class of random permutations is stationary, one-dependent and determinantal.
