Flip Combinatorial Invariance and Weyl groups
In this work, we investigate the approach via flipclasses to the Combinatorial Invariance Conjecture for Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials of all Coxeter groups. We prove the combinatorial invariance of Kazhdan--Lusztig $\widetilde{R}$-polynomials of Weyl groups modulo $q^7$ and of Kazhdan--Lusztig $\widetilde{R}$-polynomials of type $A$ Weyl groups modulo $q^8$. As a consequence, the Combinatorial Invariance Conjecture holds for all intervals up to length 8 in Weyl groups and up to length 10 in type $A$ Weyl groups.
A note on Combinatorial Invariance of Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials
We introduce the concepts of an amazing hypercube decomposition and a double shortcut for it, and use these new ideas to formulate a conjecture implying the Combinatorial Invariance Conjecture of the Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials for the symmetric group. This conjecture has the advantage of being combinatorial in nature. The appendix by Grant T. Barkley and Christian Gaetz discusses the related notion of double hypercubes and proves an analogous conjecture for these in the case of co-elementary intervals.
Flipclasses and Combinatorial Invariance for Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials
In this work, we investigate a novel approach to the Combinatorial Invariance Conjecture of Kazhdan--Lusztig polynomials for the symmetric group. Using the new concept of flipclasses, we introduce some combinatorial invariants of intervals in the symmetric group whose analysis leads us to a recipe to compute the coefficients of $q^h$ of the Kazhdan--Lusztig $\widetilde{R}$-polynomials, for $h\leq 6$. This recipe depends only on the isomorphism class (as a poset) of the interval indexing the polynomial and thus provides new evidence for the Combinatorial Invariance Conjecture.

We establish an explicit combinatorial/homological characterization of supports for linear degenerations of flag varieties. For such purpose, we introduce the concept of an excessive multisegment. It provides a new class of combinatorial objects counted by Motzkin numbers.
Parabolic orbits of $2$-nilpotent elements for classical groups

We consider the conjugation-action of the Borel subgroup of the symplectic or the orthogonal group on the variety of nilpotent complex elements of nilpotency degree $2$ in its Lie algebra. We translate the setup to a representation-theoretic context in the language of a symmetric quiver algebra. This makes it possible to provide a parametrization of the orbits via a combinatorial tool that we call symplectic/orthogonal oriented link patterns. We deduce information about numerology. We then generalize these classifications to standard parabolic subgroups for all classical groups. Finally, our results are restricted to the nilradical.
