Infinite sequences via Lie algebra actions for oligomorphic groups
Many integer sequences arise as numbers of $G$-orbits on $\binom{X}{n}$ as $n$ varies, for a permutation group $G\subseteq \operatorname{Sym}(X)$. For finite $X$, Stanley proved that these finite sequences increase towards the middle using an action of the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{sl}_2(\mathbb{C})$. For infinite sets $X$, and hence infinite sequences, Cameron provided an argument for monotonicity. He first identifies orbits with a vector space basis of a certain commutative $k$-algebra $\mathsf{H}_{G,X}^{\star}$, called the orbit algebra. He then considers the operator, which forms the product with the constant $1$-function on $X$, and proves its injectivity. In this paper we generalize Stanley's approach to oligomorphic groups, and in particular extend Cameron's operator to a full $\mathfrak{sl}_2(\mathbb{C})$-action on $\mathsf{H}_{G,X}^{\star}$. We define for every oligomorphic permutation group $G\subseteq \operatorname{Sym}(X)$ the $X$-th tensor power $(k^r)^{\otimes X}$, generalizing work of Entova-Aizenbud. We show that this space carries natural commuting actions of $G$ and the Lie algebra $\mathfrak{gl}_r(k)$, the latter depending on a Harman--Snowden measure $μ$ on $G$. We then show that $\mathsf{H}_{G,X}^{\star}\subseteq (\mathbb{C}^2)^{\otimes X}$ can be decomposed into a direct sum of $\mathfrak{sl}_2(\mathbb{C})$-Verma modules, which gives monotonicity. We explain how our approach applies to Fibonacci numbers, Tribonacci numbers, etc. by constructing measures on products with $(\mathbb{Q},<)$.
The strength of Ramsey's theorem for $α$-large sets
We calibrate the reverse mathematical strength of a family of extensions of Ramsey's theorem to finite colorings of certain subsets of the natural numbers of unbounded finite dimension. Specifically, we analyze the principles $\mathsf{RT}^{!α}_k$ asserting that every $k$-coloring of the exactly $α$-large subsets of an infinite $X \subseteq \mathbb{N}$ admits an infinite homogeneous set, where $α$-largeness is defined via systems of fundamental sequences in the style of Ketonen and Solovay. For each countable ordinal $α< Γ_0$ and each $k \geq 2$, we prove over $\mathsf{RCA}_0$ that the hierarchy of theorems $\mathsf{RT}^{!\a}_k$ corresponds exactly to the hierarchy of systems axiomatized by closure under transfinite Turing jumps, yielding a fine-grained classification between $\mathsf{ACA}_0$ and $\mathsf{ATR}_0$. Our results extend previous work on the case $α=ω$ and provide a uniform correspondence between countable indecomposable ordinals below $Γ_0$ and natural Ramsey-like theorems.
Reverse Mathematics and Dimension of Posets

Order dimension theory measures the complexity of partially ordered sets by quantifying how far they are from being linearly ordered. In this paper we study classical bounding results for order dimension within the framework of reverse mathematics. We focus on principles asserting that the dimension of a poset can be bounded in terms of the dimension of subposets obtained by removing chains or points, denoted by $\mathsf{DBi_n}$, $\mathsf{DBc_n}$, and $\mathsf{DB_p}$. We prove that, over $\mathsf{RCA}_0$, both $\mathsf{DBi_n}$ and $\mathsf{DBc_n}$ are equivalent to $\mathsf{WKL}_0$. To analyze $\mathsf{DB_p}$, we introduce a natural strengthening $\mathsf{DB^+_p}$ and show that both $\mathsf{DB_p}$ and $\mathsf{DB^+_p}$ are provable from $\mathsf{WKL}_0$ and from $\mathsf{I}Σ^0_2$, while $\mathsf{B}Σ^0_2$ does not suffice to prove $\mathsf{DB^+_p}$. The latter result is obtained by showing that the statement \lq\lq $\mathsf{DB^+_p}$ is computably true\rq\rq\ is equivalent to $\mathsf{I}Σ^0_2$.
Connectivity notions on compatible digraphs in equational classes
A digraph $\mathbb G$ is called weakly connected, strongly connected, and extremely connected if any two vertices of $\mathbb G$ are connected respectively by an oriented, a directed, and a symmetric path in $\mathbb G$. We investigate the algebraic properties of digraphs that force some of these connectivity notions to coincide.
We prove that for digraphs with a Hobby-McKenzie polymorphism, the strong and the extreme components coincide. Conversely, if the strong and the extreme components of any compatible digraph in an equational class of algebras coincide, then the class must have a Hobby-McKenzie term. As a consequence, we obtain that an equational class $\mathcal V$ is $n$-permutable for some $n$ if and only if the weak components of any compatible reflexive digraph in $\mathcal V$ are extremely connected.

We present a new short proof of Van der Waerden's Theorem about the existence of arbitrarily long monochromatic arithmetic progressions. The proof uses algebra in the compact space of ultrafilters $β\N$, but contrarily to the other existing proofs, neither minimal nor idempotent ultrafilters are involved.
Monochromatic sums and quotients in $\mathbb N$
We prove partition regularity of the configuration $x,y,x+y,y/x$ in a strong infinitary form that extends Hindman's Theorem. We study the related issue of partition regularity of configurations involving products of a degree one polynomial in $x$ with one in $y$, reducing the general problem to a handful of special cases.
Untranscendable order types
We introduce and study a multiplicative analogue of additive indecomposability for linear order types that we call untranscendability, as well as a strengthening that we call $s$-untranscendability. We show that, with the unique exception of the two-point type, every untranscendable type is additively indecomposable, and every $σ$-scattered untranscendable type is strongly indecomposable. Under the Proper Forcing Axiom, every untranscendable Aronszajn type is strongly indecomposable. We also show that a theorem of Hagendorf and Jullien, that every strictly additively indecomposable type must be strictly indecomposable to either the left or right, has a natural analogue for $s$-untranscendable types.
Big Ramsey combinatorics of the Cantor set and a simple proof of Blass' perfect set theorem
In this paper we present a simple approach to big Ramsey combinatorics of the Cantor set $2^ω$. Using Infinite Dual Ramsey Theorem of Carlson and Simpson, we show that $2^ω$, viewed as a topological space, has finite big Ramsey degrees. We then examine several natural topological first-order structures arising from the Cantor set and prove that each of them inherits finite big Ramsey degrees. As a consequence, we obtain a simple proof of Blass' perfect set theorem, although our method does not recover the sharp bound $(n-1)!$ for the number of colors. We also show that the complete Boolean algebra on countably many atoms has finite big Ramsey degrees, in contrast with the recent result showing that the countable atomless Boolean algebra does not have big Ramsey degrees.
Ramsey theory of low-degree semialgebraic relations
We prove that hypergraphs defined by low-degree polynomial inequalities contain large homogeneous subsets. Formally, let $H$ be an $r$-uniform hypergraph on $N$ vertices that is semialgebraic of constant description complexity, and each defining polynomial has degree at most $D$. Then $H$ contains a clique or an independent set of size $n$, where $N\leq \mbox{tw}_{3D^3}(n)$.
Serre depth and local cohomology
We introduce a fundamental homological invariant, called Serre depth, which stratifies Serre's conditions in the same way that depth stratifies the Cohen-Macaulay property. We study the Serre depths of modules over arbitrary Noetherian local rings and over standard graded algebras over a field, extending the polynomial ring case due to Muta and Terai. Under mild hypotheses, we show that the $r$-th Serre depth of a finitely generated module $M$ measures the deviation of $M$ from satisfying Serre's condition $(S_r)$. The main results of the paper can be summarized as follows:
(i) We establish the basic properties of Serre depth and prove that it is invariant under completion.
(ii) If the base ring $R$ is a homomorphic image of a Gorenstein ring, we show that a finitely generated $R$-module $M$ is equidimensional and satisfies $(S_r)$ if and only if its $r$-th Serre depth equals its Krull dimension. Analogous statements are obtained for schemes.
(iii) For a homogeneous ideal in a standard graded polynomial ring over a field, we compare its Serre depths with those of its initial ideal.
(iv) We characterize the Serre depths of a monomial ideal in terms of its skeletons and prove that the Serre depths of sufficiently large powers of a monomial ideal stabilize; the proof uses Presburger arithmetic.
A logical approach to concentration
Concentration results say that a sequence of random variables becomes progressively concentrated around the mean. Such results are common in the study of functions of random graphs. We introduce a real-valued logic with various aggregate operators on graphs, including summation, and prove that every term in the language, seen as a random variable on random graphs within the classical Erdős-Rényi random graph model, is concentrated. We prove this for dense and sparse variants of Erdős-Rényi graphs. On the one hand, our results extend the line of work originating with Fagin and Glebskii et al. on zero-one laws for dense random graphs, as well as the zero-one law of Shelah and Spencer for sparse random graphs. On the other hand, they can be seen as a meta-theorem for inferring concentration results on random graphs, and we give examples of such applications.
Godel Implication on Finite Chains: Truth Tables and Catalan-Bracketing Enumerations
Fully bracketed implication terms on $n$ variables are evaluated in Gödel $m$-valued logic on a finite chain, and we enumerate truth-table rows by output value across all Catalan bracketings. Using the Catalan decomposition, we derive a finite system of generating functions for these value counts and introduce a root-split refinement that records the ordered pair of truth values at the top implication, yielding $m^2$ pair classes. We prove that the associated generating functions share a common dominant square-root singularity, which implies a universal $n^{-3/2}$ asymptotic form with exponential growth rate $(4m)^n$ and a limiting output distribution as $n\to\infty$. The root-split refinement yields matching uniform asymptotics for the pair classes and gives a transparent factorization of the original counts.

We investigate Tukey morphisms between binary relations, establishing several fundamental lemmas. We then specialize to finite binary relations, using computational methods to classify all binary relations with at most $6$ points in the domain and codomain up to bimorphism. Finally we give a construction of finite binary relations with arbitrary dominating number and dual dominating number.
